Always a good job, have used dan for years on my own home, and always recommend when people ask me via my work who I would use. Never had any problems and always a reasonable price!

D P Goodwin provided accurate quotations and carried out the required work on schedule and with no unexpected costs, and had a very good office manager, called Emma.

They charged a lot less than I expected, and the work was carried out neatly and vey professionally.

They rationalised a complicated outdoor lighting system, installed various new outdoor lights, including PIRs and a solar triggered timer. They also added outdoor sockets.

Highly recommended, and they are my future goto firm for electrical work.

We had a flood whilst on holiday only to return to a completely ruined most of our house ! our insurance company sent in their contractors who were Goodwin Building Services - I hope this is the correct site for leaving a review - Mike came and was very helpful he kept us informed throughout, the work carried out by both him and his team was exceptional and to a very high standard, I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work -

We recently had our kitchen refitted by DP Goodwin, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. They managed the project without a hitch, coordinating the rip out and disposal of our old kitchen, plastering, plumbing, electrics, and expertly fitted carpentry. The entire process was seamless, and the attention to detail was exceptional.

Additionally, their customer service was outstanding. They were always available to answer our questions, provided regular updates on the progress, and ensured that we were completely satisfied with every aspect of the project. Their professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction truly set them apart.

I have just moved into my new house and I contacted DP Goodwin as I was looking to get some extra power points in the house and an electrical point outside and external lighting . Dec came and carried out a survey . He was very polite and professional. He provided an extremely competitive quote and I have since had the works carried out by Stuart . I am very pleased with everything and the work was completed to a very high standard . I would definitely recommend this company and would not hesitate using them in the future .

What an excellent team! I had a new property internally renovated, including electrics, plumbing and plastering. Found the whole experience easy, as the communication was clear and considerate, the team provided valuable insights and advice and the work was completed in good time.

New kitchen and bathroom, 2 week delay starting job due lack of manpower which continued through the whole job, very poor and unrealistic management resulted in delays and staff leaving company. After 10 weeks and 5th revised schedule they gave up trying to give time to complete! Make sure every detail verbally agreed is in writing as we were hit with extra costs at every opportunity by a manager I found totally unreasonable. We are pensioners with health issues so no kitchen or heating for 3 months was a major inconvenience. The guys who done the work were good, all problems were because of poor management putting pressure on staff to get 5 days work done in 2. I think the electrical side of this company is good, but the building side falls well short of what is acceptable.

The electrician was very aware of the constraints of fitting the car charger (as in avoiding our solar panel wiring) and solved the problem with minimal upset and made a very neat job of it.

DP Goodwin, fitted some water meters at the Park Homes Site I work at, they attended at short notice and completed the works to a high standard.
Will definitely be using them again.

DP Goodwin have done an amazing job on my Victorian flat - with it being so old there was a lot of dodgy electrics that needed replacing due to safety. Dec from the office sorted everything from start to finish and made the whole thing completely stress free (being a young solo female getting trade work done can be daunting) the electricians came out very promptly and replaced the fuse board, all my switches and sockets, electric radiators, and also all my light fittings. They also found live vulcanised rubber cable under the floorboards which was a bit concerning but sorted all this out and replaced it in very quick time. Once my kitchen was fitted the office team also sent someone round to make sure my oven/hob was connected all properly. All in all it's the best trade experience I've ever had and will only use these guys again for future problems. Thanks again 😊

We went to Wickes in Eastbourne in January 2023 to design and order a bathroom for our holiday let property.
It was stipulated the work would need to be done within a specific time frame as it would have to be booked out for the work to be completed.
We agreed on the first two weeks in October giving them plenty of time to organise the contractor and Wickes allocated DP Goodwins to do the work.
We had booked the property out for the whole of the month though to allow painters and carpet fitters to do their work after the bathroom had been fitted and it was a good job we did.
We were finally called to sign the bathroom off over four weeks later, two weeks after the work should have been completed.
What we walked into was truly appalling.
The project manager Victoria, who obviously had not previously seen the work tried to put on a brave face and started a snagging list.
Unfortunately, the only way to rectify the situation was to basically rip everything out and start again.
In fairness, after our complaints were raised, a director from DP Goodwins came out and accepted all of our grievances and agreed the only way forward was to basically start again.
After having to book the property out for another two weeks in January for their top fitter to do the refit, we hoped the bathroom had been completed to our satisfaction. Unfortunately, several key faults still remained including the dented towel rail that should have been replaced and water stains appeared on the ceiling below where the shower waste had not been connected properly and was pouring through every time the shower was used.
Wickes wanted no part in putting matters right just passing us off to DP Goodwins, who’s work it must be said was dreadful.
After six months of continuous aggravation, ripping out and starting again, leaks, threatened court action our bathroom is finally finished. It’s good, not great but we just want to close the chapter and move on with our lives.
Dream bathroom was what we were promised, unfortunately a nightmare was what we received.
Never again.

The DP Goodwin team transformed my 1980s house into a modern, well-functioning and stylish home. High standards, great commitment to getting things done and excellent customer care.

This company is fast, efficient, and know their business. I have used them in the past, am using them now, and will use in the future. I cat find any fault with their services. Very good work and I would recommend.

I phoned DP Goodwin in the morning with an electrical issue , the person I spoke to was very helpful and knowledgeable the Engineers were out to us the same day exactly on time, very pleasant professional quick and tidy Definitely Recommend, Great Service 👍

DP Goodwin - Kitchen installation.

DP Goodwin installed my kitchen, they were fantastic! From the initial appointment, the advise they gave me and the friendly team who attended. I cannot complain. The installation was spot on and everything was cleaned down at the end of each day. I can safely say this was a stress free transaction.

After communication with DP Goodwin finally, our issues were resolved albeit months later. I am super happy with the final resolve and I also want to give a huge shout out to Ollie who was super helpful and his attention to detail was great, he is an asset to your company. It just takes better communication for things like this to be resolved much more quickly so thank you.

Very good building services - fitting, carpentry, electrics, plastering, painting. Professional workmen and very good customer care. Highly recommended.

D P Goodwin did some electrical work for us at our drop in centre. We are a local charity and was really impressed with their professional but still very caring service! That carried out more than what was asked of them at a very reduced rate. Would highly recommend them.

We recently used DP Goodwin to fit our new kitchen. From start to finish they were very cooperative and nothing was too much trouble. The fitters arrived on time to remove the old kitchen and kept us informed of progress all the way through to the installation of the new one. They were very accommodating throughout from the office through to the workmen that were used. Having a new kitchen is a major project, but we are delighted with the outcome. The whole team were excellent from start to finish.
