I have hired from Drivalia aberdeen 5…
I have hired from Drivalia aberdeen 5 to 7 times and there’s no doubt that this is the best rental company. Even if you’re a young driver they have a decent price for you. And their booking process is very simple. moreover all the staff including the manager they are really nice and polite. I would recommend everyone to hire car from this rental company.

Good service
Marshall provided good service. He explained the different options and was patient while we thought through what we should do without pressuring us one way or another. He was friendly and gave us tips for our stay.

After paying to hire a car they were very pushy, trying to sell me insurance packages.
Seems like their business is Insurance sales first, car hire second.

I paid to hire a car for 6 days
AFTER making payment the next page was a list of conditions.
One was that I must turn up with a credit card.
I'm a retired pensioner, I do not have a credit card.
I phoned up to explain, and asked if I could leave a deposit via debit card like I do with other companies.
They said no and instead aggressively tried to sell me various insurance packages.
I then sent some emails asking for a refund, I was told no refunds for prepaid bookings, even though my booking date was still 13 days away.
I'm 70 years old, this is how this company treats pensioners. I'm deeply upset by the whole ordeal.

You only showed the terms AFTER accepting my online debit card payment.
The actual booking is still not for another 7 days time.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that there was some confusion regarding our payment requirements at the time of collection.
To ensure a smooth rental process, we provide information regarding our payment and deposit policies at the time of booking and on the confirmation voucher. For clarity, our standard requirements are as follows:
• Security Deposits: We require a pre-authorisation deposit on a credit card in the name of the main driver (starting from £1500).
• Debit Card Use: We do accept debit cards; however, this requires the purchase of an excess waiver package to reduce the excess to zero. UK residents using a debit card must also pass a credit check or provide proof of employment.
• Payment Security: All deposits must be made with a physical card with at least 2 months' validity. We cannot accept virtual cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or cards without visible numbers.
• Exclusions: We do not accept cash or prepaid cards.
If you require any further information regarding your booking or this process, please contact us through the Manage My Booking portal on the Drivalia.co.uk website.

Extremely disappointing experience
Extremely disappointing experience. I booked a two-week rental and arrived at the airport(Aberdeen Airport) as planned about 2 pm, but the branch had closed earlier than their normal 4:00 PM closing time. Even though my flight details were requested at the time of booking, there was no communication that they would be closed by the time i arrived.
When I arrived, the guy at the desk told me they already canceled the booking and that I had been changed for the full 2 weeks, and there was nothing he could do and no refunds, being forced in another booking.
Charging customers for two full weeks when the car was never handed over should be illegal. I don't know how this kind of practice is allowed in the UK. In my opinion, this reflects fraudulent business practices, and this company should be investigated. Please avoid them at all costs. I learned the hard way, never again.

Très mauvaise expérience
Très mauvaise expérience. Personnel désagréable. Ils ont loués mon véhicule à une autre personne et m'ont forcé à en prendre un autre de la gamme au dessus bien plus cher. Ils m'ont dit c'est soit ça, soit vous allez ailleurs. En plus de ça, j'ai attendu 2 heures avant qu'on me fournisse le véhicule.

Drivalia is nothing but a con
Drivalia is nothing but a con. I arrived at the office, there was two angry customers that left the place without a car. I myself picked up a car after paying more money than planned. The car was fully paid for before pick up but I had to pay for extra insurance which they claimed was compulsory. This was a lie, I will never use them again and would advice others to steer well clear of this company

Best car rental company.
I went through most of the car rentals and Jay Patel in Drivalia Co.UK was the only person who came on chat. He was very helpful and prompt and answered all my questions to the point. I would highly recommend him.
