Affordable, Easy, and Hassle-Free Experience
I recently hired a car from Drivalia UK at Dyce Airport for a short two-day trip, and the whole experience was fantastic. The price was very reasonable, and the car I received was even better than I expected—clean, comfortable, and in great condition.
The service at the desk was smooth and friendly, and everything was ready to go when I arrived. I booked through Booking.com, which made the whole process quick and effortless.
Overall, a great experience from start to finish. I’ll happily use Drivalia again!

Exécrable !!!!!!
Je préfère payer plus cher que de retourner louer une voiture chez eux. Le service est exécrable et ce sont des voleurs. Ils gardent votre numéro de carte de crédit pour vous charger plus tard lorsque vous n’êtes plus vigilants. J’ai du changer de carte de crédit

Not great!We had to wait over an hour to sort the…
We had to wait over an hour to sort the car rental even though we had previously booked online. Hidden costs which almost doubled the rental cost were only made clear when we were in the office.

Expect to wait to pick up your car if booked for first thing in the morning
It appears that the staff rarely turn up on time. Therefore the car that I was supposed to pick up from a flight this morning at 8.30 was not available for me. Another customer had been waiting since 8am. The team arrived at the office at approximately 8.40 but then took until 9am to get the computers etc. started. A real shame as I have had good experiences with Drivalia in the past. Simple fix.... if the team could be motivated to arrive in the office on time (even if they arent expecting bookings until slightly later in the day), it would help greatly. Im a big supporter of Drivalia usually. Thanks.

Hidden £1500 to be blocked out on a…
Hidden £1500 to be blocked out on a physical credit card. E wallet no use for this.
I didnt have one with me so I got charged an extra £100 for full insurance This would have been £60 if I had done it at the time of booking.

Avoid at all costs, this place is a scam and will rob you of your money. Not an ounce of humanity. Use enterprise or an actual car hire place.. bunch of cowboys.

Poor quality car, needed servicing, stink of smoke, lots of damage on the car and poor customer service. Made us pay for extra insurance when we didn’t need it. Avoid avoid avoid! Partnered with easyJet

Worst customer service ever
We booked a car for our trip to Scotland in August. When we arrived at the rental desk the car that we booked, an Opel Grandland, wasn’t there. They made excuses and offered us the only other car they had available which was a Renault Clio. Much smaller and only just fitted our luggage. The branch manager promised us a partial refund of the rental price but we did not receive anything. I took it up via their complaints system when we got home. Again we were promised a refund which would be processed by their accounts office. 2 months later and still nothing.
This is a horrible company to deal with and its customer service is the worse I have seen from any rental company, and I have hired lots of cars all over the UK and abroad in that time.
Avoid this useless company and hire with a reputable rental company instead.
Update - Drivalia have replied and told me to submit details of my complaint on their “manage my booking” page of their website. I had already done this after we got home, later in August and was told a refund would be issued, which has still not come.
I submitted another complaint on 26 October about not receiving the refund. As yet no reply.
Nothing so far has changed my opinion that this company is still useless and should be avoided at all costs.

Drivalia will make money from your mistakes
I rented a car from DRIVALIA. I had to pay a fine after driving through a restricted road, but that was no issue; nevertheless, DRIVALIA found a way to make money out of this:
When they receive the fine, they pay the 50-pound fine and wait until 15 days have passed so they can charge the driver 100 pounds + Admin fees! instead of letting the driver pay the 50 pounds directly to the city council.
Very unethical indeed....

Truly awful
Truly awful. Waited 25mijs for the shuttle bus and then waited a further 35 mins in a queue in an awful mobile office to get the car. All people in the queue fuming. None of the logistics were made clear before booking. Rude condescending staff incredulous that anyone would have an issue with this poor service and operating model.

Very poor customer service at Aberdeen airport
I booked a car for pick-up at Aberdeen airport on 5th Sep this year. On arrival at the Drivalia desk I was told that they had cancelled my booking as ´they had no cars´. No reason was given for this situation and no forward warning had been given. I was not offered an apology, help with booking another car, offered a replacement or any help with onward travel. I´ve also been chasing Drivalia and Easyjet RentalCar (booking agent) for a refund since this date and so far have received neither an update or refund.

Malgré un accueil qui semblait chaleureux c'était pour mieux nous arnaquer. A la signature du contrat je vois 300€ supplémentaires à la réservation. On me dit que c'est la caution mais surprise à la fin du séjour c'était une sorte de garantie tranquillité qu'ils nous avaient rajouté sans nous demander. Non remboursable. ARNAQUE
