Rude arrogant employee
Rude, arrogant employee
I arrived from London to Birmingham Airporton the 22nd February to pick up a car for one month. I unfortunately picked up the wrong credit card. Which I paid by voucher previously close to £400 with a debit cardI want to return the next day by travelling back to London and coming back to Birmingham for with my credit card but this rude arrogant employee refused. He insisted on pain on the spot £935 insurance to take the car away.
Which I didn’t have…
I never received a refund I sent a series of emails to try to rectify the problem within the next two weeks the company refused avoid avoid avoid🤬

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that there was some confusion regarding our payment requirements at the time of collection.
To ensure a smooth rental process, we provide information regarding our payment and deposit policies at the time of booking and on the confirmation voucher. For clarity, our standard requirements are as follows:
• Security Deposits: We require a pre-authorisation deposit on a credit card in the name of the main driver (starting from £1500).
• Debit Card Use: We do accept debit cards; however, this requires the purchase of an excess waiver package to reduce the excess to zero. UK residents using a debit card must also pass a credit check or provide proof of employment.
• Payment Security: All deposits must be made with a physical card with at least 2 months' validity. We cannot accept virtual cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or cards without visible numbers.
• Exclusions: We do not accept cash or prepaid cards.

Absolutely horrendous
Absolutely horrendous! Antagonistic, unhelpful, smart mouthed and the setup was beyond a joke!
This was the Birmingham airport branch. I asked for the name of the gentleman! (he gave me wrong name)
Not to worry, I paid double at euro car and the service was phenomenal!
Never again! Avoid this company!
The only saving grace was the driver Robert who picked me up from the airport to take me to the office.

Worst car hire experience I’ve ever…
Worst car hire experience I’ve ever had. After landing at Birmingham Airport, we waited over an hour to be collected — with two young kids — and received zero updates or explanation. When we finally arrived at the office, the staff member was blatantly rude when I politely questioned the delay. No apology, no valid reason, just attitude. To make matters worse, when dropping the car back there was no one available to take us to the airport. We had to order and pay for an Uber ourselves to avoid missing our flight. Save yourself the stress — pay a little more elsewhere for certainty and service.

AVOID AVOID AVOID
Hired a van from Drivalia and videoed it on pickup.
On return the depot was closed. Again I videoed the van to show that no damage had occurred.
Th following day, whilst at home, I received a charge of £325 for a 'nail' in a tyre.
1. The photo did not show the tyre was off the van I hired.
2. It did not show if the van had been moved since drop off.
3. You could see the tyre was due for replacement due to wear.
4. There was no similar photographic evidence of the tyres on collection.
5. A replacement tyre with the same brand was £125. Remarkably the £325 charge aligns with the excess I had to pay.
I raised a credit card dispute and had my money returned.
After lots of previous business with Drivalia, that's the last time I will ever use them again!

Do not use Drivalia. I had a confirmed booking and, due to a flight delay, called the branch twice to notify them of my late arrival. I arrived within a reasonable timeframe of 90 minutes, yet they refused to honor my confirmed booking, claiming it had already been released and demanding an extra £350 for a replacement. This was despite there being clearly available vehicles and my repeated notifications.
Their actions were completely unprofessional, unfair, and a blatant bait-and-switch. I will never use them again and strongly advise others to stay away.

Excellent service from Drivalia
I use Drivalia at Birmingham Airport on a regular basis. I have only ever had one bad experience, otherwise it's always a good experience. Everyone at Drivalia Birmingham is helpful and friendly and welcoming
I used them again yesterday and Amar was very good, he sorted out a great car and I would absolutely recommend Drivalia Birmingham Airport. I will be using them again soon 😊

I have used this company twice now and on both occasions I have been well looked after. On this occasion I had booked the wrong car on my booking form and they were able to upgrade me with no hassle or additional costs. Would give 0 if I could
Would give 0 if I could. Called to tell them about a 3 hour delay to my flight. I was actually 2hrs 20 mins late and they had given my small car out to another customer as they only keep the car for 2 hours!. So then they charged me for an upgrade, Origional Rental £62 upgrade £120 what a rip off. Will never use again
