Easirent - Tower Bridge レビュー 5

I hired a car from their Tower Bridge branch. I phoned them and they explained they needed to take a deposit (which is pretty standard). But my Amex kept getting rejected. There were sufficient funds so I phoned Amex to ask why this was happening. They explained that the company had an out of date Wordpay system that wasn’t secure and there was no way Amex would allow a payment on this platform.
I then spoke to Drivaila again who suggested I go down to the Tower Bridge pick up location as there was actually an employee there with a card reader who could take the payment. I went down there but he then informed me that the card machine was Out of Order. So now the 2 ways of paying this deposit weren't functioning, neither of which was my fault.
I was informed that the only way I would be able to pick up the car (which I now needed urgently as this had taken so long) would be to pay for the insurance at £40 per day (so over 200 in total). I didn't need this as I had booked through RentalCars.com and so already had their insurance. But, as this could be taken as a phone payment (which the deposit couldn't) I could get the car this way.
Given how unhelpful everyone was at the company and how used to this they seemed it wouldn’t surprise me if this was a scam they run. They run low prices but in return you can expect that they will set up systems to try and get as much extra out of you as possible.
Not to be trusted.

I wish I could have given less than 1. You might get a cheap deal from Drivalia or easient.com but you will end up paying obnoxious money for no reason. It always better to go with branded or professional car leasing companies.

The trick is that they will find some bloody reason to charge you from the pre-authorization amount/excess charges of GBP 1500. In my case after 20 days of returning the vehicle, they charged 225 GBP for tyre Puncture... Imagine the new tyre which comes for 50-80 GBP they have charged 225 without any consent or prior intimation.

Now, no customer service team, or branch office is responding.

There is something uneasy about the fact we could not meet a customer service person when we picked up our car. All correspondence at pick up was via a telecom speaker device. In addition, on return of the car there was no one to interact with at all, albeit I acknowledge this was a Saturday. Two months after our visit to London, €64 was taken from our bank account by Easirent/Drivalia UK, an administration charge. This had not been notified to us before it was debited from the account. The charge related to administration of a penalty charge notice, a Dartford Route charge that we were entirely unaware of nor had been informed about by Easirent/Drivalia. In addition, as tourists to the London area, we did not see any reference to charges at Dartford. But that may be our fault for inadequate observation. But not to have been informed by Drivalia that this notice had been notified to them and the first we knew anything about it was when an email came in from Drivalia to say the administrative charge could not be taken from our bank account as our bank thought the Easirent was possibly not a valid debit and asked me for sanction of the debit. I did sanction the debit as I thought it may have been related to a London congestion charge and was happy to allow this debit. But to subsequently discover that this was an administration charge related to a penalty charge notice that we have never received is to put it lightly most irritating to say the least. Given this customer service, there’s no way I could recommend this company for car rental.

J'ai loué un vehicule à Shannon.
Le responsable de l'agence est un escroc.
Il m'a obligé de prendre l'assurance complémentaire pour etre completement couvert.
Le vehicule avait un probleme de pneus qui semblait se dégonfler( en fait problème d'hysterisis sur l'alarme - ce responsable sans me prevenir du defaut m'avait indiqué ou etait le gonfleur! J'ai dû verifier chaque jour les pneus!
Au retour, la veille je suis passé à l'agence pour prévenir que je rendrais le vehicule une heure plus tot que prévu; le jour du retour il a demandé que je paye 80€ de frais pour retour anticipé. Ce que j'ai refusé, et j'ai dû appelé un taxi pour quitter cette agence.
Cet personnage est vraiment à éviter, de plus quand je lis tous les commentaires je comprends mon erreur d'avoir choisi cette compagnie de location.
