My loan came bundled with Loan Protection Plan (LPP) insurance. When I later reviewed my documents, the e-signature timestamps raised serious questions: six documents were signed within about 90 seconds of each other, and the witness attestation is dated before my own signatures. That isn't how an informed, unhurried signing process should look.
When I asked for the LPP to be cancelled and the premium refunded, the insurer (Assurant) sent me back to the easyfinancial branch. A branch manager then refused the refund over the phone, with nothing in writing.
Update: easyfinancial is the worst loan company ever, they said there’s nothing they can do about refunding me for credit optimizer(a product of theirs), and also canning refund my insurance that I cancelled and paid over 3000 dollars for
Asking me to call them just to tell me the same story.
