Edmunds current customer reviews are mostly placed in hiding (if they are negative). The current vehicle review shown on the top of the list for the vehicle I am interested in, is over 2 years old (24 model), not very helpful..Most all current negative reviews are hidden.. Makes me think they are bias..I've lost credibility for Edmunds..

The worst thing I could have ever done was to purchase a vehicle from Edmunds/Pro Auto I bought a 2007 Chevy Tahoe back in January of 2022 thinking I was getting a very nice vehicle dis truck must have been sitting in water for years the whole undercarriage is totally rusted out I didn't drive the truck in the beginning because THINKING it was a good truck i put it in the shop to have it lifted and dats when it all started I'm SO damn pissed off I don't kno wtf to do if dis is how dey conduct business please be careful buying a vehicle online with only ONE pic I intinially gave them 4k to hold the truck total cost being 10482.00 dis truck is a piece of shit even da carpet is damp on the inside I hope whoever is responsible will burn in hell I hope someone takes advantage of dey momma dey way dey did me I've got too much money in the truck now and everytime I turn around something has to be fixed I redid the whole front end I paid 2k to get dat piece of sh_t delivered I'm pi$$ed karma isn't like milk so it has no expiration date you can move and karma will find you I can't do anything about my money but if I can help someone I'll be ok and take dis loss my right hand to God and on my moms grave....PLEASE be careful with deez people purchase date is actually 1-21-22

This website is only about generating leads to car dealerships. The estimated Vehicle Appraisal Report shows retail values instead of real trade allowance values. They only care to show high numbers to generate traffic and sell the client information to car dealers. I submit this review with a proof of a screenshot a client sent me of his Lincoln Navigator Vehicle Appraisal Report.

Edmunds is little more than a used car sales link. It doesn't offer value ranges, but directs you to what is, I'm sure, it's paid car dealerships and their low ball offers, a complete waste of time.

Just bought a second car there, great selection, well maintained cars. Sellers were ok, but at least told everything about the car and possible future problems. So overall good service.

Very dishonest. I was trying to get a used car value, and right at the end they want to know the license plate number and other information, so they can sell you stuff.

They are listing used cars at below book by adding federal EV rebates to the price. In reality and if honesty was a factor most of the EV’s are listed above market price !

After pursuing inquiries for several vehicles on the Edmunds website, I have come to the conclusion that Edmunds is largely a bait & switch for car dealerships. All the cars were sold, but still listed. Now I have auto dealerships calling & e-mailing about how they can “help” me with another vehicle. A huge waste of time & majorly frustrating.

Edmunds sells your contact info to dealerships without your consent. They offered to get me quotes, requested email and phone number promising not to give my information to the dealerships. Next I got a blank screen and an unexpected error. Immediately I started getting phone calls and text messages from dealerships. I might have consented at some point, but I HAD NOT YET CONSENTED.

Edmunds used to provide MSRP vs dealer invoice pricing, and savvy buyers could get up to $500-1000 below dealer invoice. Not any more. Now they just have a "what you should pay" which is lower than MSRP but significantly higher than invoice. I guess they make more money from dealer referrals than from selling ads.

Fraudulent company by spreading fake information and news. Never trust them.

Spread wrong information about other brands to gain profit. Very unethical. Post wrong Lucid videos in twitter.

Edmunds is a fraud company. Don't trust their reviews.

They are intentionally damaging brands on social media by posting fake videos about how bad the cars are just to gain attention/views/followers.
They can't be trusted.

It was the fasted one. I have tried some before but I got it was very fast. Staff are very friendly too. Recommended

Edmunds is a great place to not only buy cars but also for car reviews. In their reviews, they show the pros and cons of the vehicle, what’s new for 2020, (I forgot to mention that for car and driver) pricing and which one to buy. They have some specs of the car on the side. I just wish they had more specs like 0-60. There’s also a wildcard grading system. Edmunds also shows the trims they recommend. You can also read reviews about the car you’re researching. If you’d like, it’s also possible to write a review on your car to share with others your experience.

As I have so stated, this is a good place to start, for it will arm you with much need information to guide you through a buy. Having a fair price in mind before you arrive at a dealership gives you a lead on getting a fair deal, not to be one of those who paid too much. However, I caution you on the integrity of many of the referred dealerships, for many will do all they can to get every penny you have and can afford to spend, using surprise (unheard of, unadvertised, hidden) fees, to even rolling back into to the price standard delivery fees and inspection fees. Anyway, Edmunds.com is extremely helpful and educating for the consumer.
