Tried to cancel the broadband contract a year ago as moving abroad but still getting messages. Called about 50 times but no joy. They never answer or you get some eejit online who spends half an hour... ãã£ãšèŠã

EIR(COM) Disaster
i signed up for broadband and phone. They have made an utter hash of things and given the wrong address to their engineers. so it appears I will be paying for someone else's services. They will not answer the phone nor call me back. At every turn I try to contact them they insist on an EIR account or phone number. How can a new customer have an EIR account or phone number. Totally incompetent company. Ps they are now called EIR rather than Eircom
Do not use their services
Do not use their services, they'll tell you one thing on the phone and charge you a different price in a months period. I was paying 54euro for a bundle of internet, tv and phone( costs 10e). I asked for an additional sim card and services and asked them if it's the same service for the 10 euro and agreed. Next month the new bill was 119.... more than double of the whole bundle just for an extra sim card. They're like the wolf on wall street, lying on the phone just to charge you more. I don't recommend it, but if you want to give them a try go to the store and talk face to face. The service of internet and mobile are good, nothing to complain, the issue is the lying and charging way more than you were told.

I held on to it the e mail service only as my business mail address as it is there for decades.
This time the service has been down for more then 36 hours.
Eir don't provide info on the web
They don't have a dedicated support option focused on webmail and can't / won't predict when the outage will be resolved.
I pay 9.99 / month but advise anyone not to use this service even if it is given for free. It will ruin your business.

Terrible service
Terrible service. They shipped router, which i never get. On scheduled day had to take day off to connect internet. Nobody showed up in the middle of the day called and asked if it's sorted. When said no they told that they have no technicians available, and will reschedule date and time. Which never happened, more than month now.
Webmail customer
Webmail customer. Forced to use them and pay for the service as have been using mail address for years and too difficult to change. Hate using them. Regularly breaking down. Cannot access my email for last cannot 24 hours and advised problems will continue for another 24 hours. Shambles. Just waiting for them to increase monthly pricing. It seems that is the only area in which they excel.

I am a customer for 2 years now (broadband) and am very happy from the beginning.
I renewed my contract today again and have to say the man I talked to - Brandon - sorted me very fast, very friendly what these days I find not everyone on the line has such positive energy. When I'll be finished with my mobile contract with other company I am currently I will definitely switch to this company as I didn't know they provide this till Brandon offered. Thank you again, am very happy with the services I'm getting and that the customer care was nothing just the best and fast.

I wouldnât even rate eir as a company with 1 star. An absolute disgrace from the moment I asked for broadband. Around 6 installation appointments where nothing was done over a period of 4/5 months (not counting the no shows) only to be told on the last day it wasnât possible to install in my area. All the while I was being charged for a service I didnât use. I tried to cancel my bundle package as I wasnât using it only to be met with long waiting times over phone and sometimes being told to call the number I was already calling!! I finally went into the eir shop to use their phone to call, charged 50 euro for a SIM card that wasnât in use as it was part of a bundle package. An absolute disgrace of a company.

I have been a customer for several years, but this company is not interested in it. In recent months, my bills have been 85 euros a month for a mobile phone connection 10 euros and a home internet connection. On June 1, I called this company and a very kind employee promised me a discount of 20 euros. But it is also very expensive. Today I receive a new bill of 122 euros. Why, for what is such an amount. The one star is really only for the nice staff who have to answer calls from frustrated customers, take the flak and remain polite and friendly. I have just spent over 50 minutes on hold waiting for my query to be resolved! Who has that time? I had a query about cancelling my contract. On my first attempt to resolve my query after dialling 1901 I waited for twenty minutes and chose the option for contracts and cencellations. It was finally answered, twice I was requested to give my account number and lots of personal info before being told to call 1901 AGAIN and choose other options. This time I waited for almost 30 minutes was again asked twice to give my account number and lots of info. This is absolutely no way to treat customers who pay so much for your services. Compliments to the patient staff, of which there are obviously far too few, who have to deal with customers letting off steam.

Absolutely terrible, if you run into any issues, seemingly they can do nothing in the stores and you have to call customer care where you wait 45minutes before they can take your call. After your year contract they will double your bill if your not on the ball and checking every single thing as such the date you started, you need to remember and then to try call and get threw to cancel ur subscription is just a nightmare, 100% wouldnt recommend to anyone. Stay away.

Have been with Eir for two years, they increase the monthly cost after 12 months and offer better terms for new customers rather than rewarding loyal ones. I will be saving over 400 suros a year by moving to SKY for exactly the same service. Goofbye Eir.

Eir broadband is hugely unreliable but it is their abysmal customer service and an attitude bordering on contempt for its customers that sets eir apart. Expensive, poor quality product and truly awful service is this 3rd companies calling card. Avoid this shambles of an outfit at all costs.
