Lovely local gym with approachable, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great classes- I attend the yoga and pilates here- never disappointed with regular helpful teachers. Great value for money.

Really enjoying this gym. Venus is incredibly kind and given I was nervous joining the gym she always makes me feel comfortable and welcome, especially on my first day.

more yoga/pilates classes for wow membership or better hours
Im new to this centre and its clean with helpful stuff. I pay for the WOW membership and I’ll might downgrade because the classes this membership includes are either very early in the morning or late in the evening. Very rarely there’s a yoga/pilates/boxing class during the day. That’s so it would be good to introduce those classes during the day as well. Especially on Saturday maybe yoga should be a bit later on. Also those classes only last for 30-45 min, in the previous gyms i was member, yoga was for one hour and a half. That’s more proper for that kind of class. Also the room is very small so only 6-10 of us can fit and this makes it difficult to book.

This Gym is what it is box standard
This Gym is what it is! Cheap and small.
Been there over 3 years, staff never talk or even look at me.
A lot of the equipment don’t work and have reported it, but 6 months later nothing has changed , still broken.
Not sure how often it gets clean , but I’m in there about 3 times a week and dry trailing sweat marks from previous day!
When there is a session going on you can’t use the space (fair enough)and I went to the empty bike area with no session , only a personal trainer with his client(one big room) more or less told me I’m in the way while he was box training! So not sure about this gym anymore, but it’s convenient and cheap!

The overall is good but Showers in woman’s changing room need to be repaired and I would like to have the weekend hours extended in the evening

A gym that everyone can feel comfortable going to.
An unfussy, decently equipped gym that everyone can feel comfortable going to. The punters are a range a range of ages and body shapes and the staff are welcoming and friendly.

Faulty treadmills are still in use at Highbury. Not being fixed for over 4 years even though I have been reporting it to staff members

Great staff, fantastic classes and welcoming for all, some guns are intimidating, this one isn't the staff are friendly and clientele are supportive.

Good for the size
I think for the size this is a very good gym (it’s very tiny) but it can get so busy and only has pretty much 1 pair of each dumbell weights and only 1 proper area for anything with a mat (which is often full or has a class in in the evenining) I think the ways to improve would be to get another set of dumbells (at least like 2-20) and also you don’t have a lot things like hip abductor/lying leg curl

Not enough 10kg plates
Not enough 10kg plates, alot of parts for machines are broken or parts always missing. Scale in men's changing room is very cheap and inaccurate, sometimes it doesn't even work at all.
Apart from that the gym is ok, staff are helpful if you ask. Is enough space as long as you don't come during peak times

Oversubscribed and often too busy to…
Oversubscribed and often too busy to work out on the mats. Also definitely needs new fans/Aircon because the whole place fogs up and is humid with sweat which is gross. Bearable in winter but will be grim in summer.
