Really good Soft Play with plenty of very good play equipment. They have a gate which most people lock but occasionally people don’t bother which puts a lot of children at risk, that would be my only complaint. Definetley one of the best Soft Plays in the area, it’s a good size, the equipment is safe and it’s maintained and cleaned regularly.

Professional staff who are helpful and encouraged me to do different exercises.

Took our kids to the disco swim over the weekend. Absolutely terrible experience. The music was so quiet I didn't hear 1 song, the pool was overcrowded and 2 spectators spent 40 minutes taking photos and videoing the session. Total disregard for safeguarding of other children in the pool. Get out of the pool and as ever, locks don't work on changing rooms and the floors are absolutely filthy. Be better knocking this place down and building a proper leisure centre at Shobnall. Old, decrepid and embarrassing!

Superb gym and swimming pool facility. Great place to come and train. Lovely atmosphere

Finishing my session 15 minutes before closing so could get to changing room and take shower, its already closed 15 min before end !!!, so home you can go in shorts and t shirt when outside is +3 good service asking open for 5 min ignore!! so if you want use changing room go 1 hour before closing, wrong attitude from Managers, rude !!!

I been today to your soft play in the morning to a toddler session with my son and because is half term I had to bring my other one who is 6 and I could go in because your staff won't let my 6 year old in because she is not under 5....
Very bad experience made my toddler cry and my daughter because only one is allowed
What an awful experience
Now I know you will say that this is the rule and only toddler are allowed on this session but your stuff should be nicer and try to help you instead of say only one can go in the other one stay out..
So you care about the rule so much that my little one can't in the soft play because she just turn 6 and she is not 5 years to come with my toddler but you don't care when people pay for one session and they stay for as long as they want...well done 👍

Needs some improvement:
Some maintenance issues need addressing such as broken lockers, the bottom of the pool is sharp, the taps are always running in the toilets.
It smells of urine at times. Broken toilet roll holders.

This gym and centre have changed my life and it staff are great and welcome you with open arms.

Went to soft play with grandchildren. Lovely area very clean & safe. Overall the centre is inviting & cafe also a nice area

A straightforward automated booking and attendance experience with good facilities and reasonable off-peak prices

Well the gym and equipment is fine but there are too many people using their mob phones during their routines and holding other people up and if two or three people are using the same piece of equipment then you probably won't get on it for best part of half an hour. And it's also a concern the amount of youngsters in the gym who don't know how to use the equipment properly ,I've seen them chasing each other round the gym ,an accident waiting to happen .I have been using this gym for quite a few years now and I'm afraid this situation is getting worse.

Clean & hygienic In most areas. Some areas need a bit more attention such as sauna room.
Good experience overall.

Poor hygiene have to ask for wipes cleaning stuff.. Staff apologise and are empathetic to lack of cleaning equipment apart from management who are flippent when asked was told to use toilets to wet blue kitchen roll in toilets to clean equipment after use that are also stinking

Gym is well equipped and clean
Plenty of equipment and nice friendly atmosphere. Only negative point is changing rooms are down stairs on the other side of the building, which is not convenient.
Also when I have identified and mentioned general issues on site to reception staff they have been quickly actioned.

I have been an everyone active member for a few years. I've happily visited Ashby for the gym and Whitwick for their fantastic new pool. I've recently moved house making Meadowside in Burton my closest centre. I visited once last week to use the pool, and then cancelled my membership as soon as I got home.

The entire wet side area is just filthy. The changing rooms, shower area, poolside and the actual pool itself. I swam for 20 minutes before getting out as I just wasn't finding it a pleasurable experiance. Lots of brown staining around the tiles at the side of the pool. Not only was the pool busy during the ladies only swim, but it seemed that no one understands lane ettiquette and it was full of kids. Side of the pool area was filled with mothers watching their kids, all stood around in shoes and eating what looked like a 3 course dinner out of various tuppawares. Staff not bothered by shoes and food near the pool.

I then didnt even shower because it seemed pointless; knowing I was then going to get changed in the filthy, muddy, dusty changing rooms, it seemed counter productive! So I drove straight home and showered there.

Maybe I've been spoilt with the new pool area at Whitwick, but whilst I appreciate Burton pool is far older, there's no excuse for hygiene like that.

Completely put off unfortunately.

Multiple areas of the facility extremely dirty. Health suite includes steam room/sauna walls inside the steam room slimy and thick, floors covered in dirt and grime, mass amount of build up around the doors and benches in the sauna making it smell really unpleasant. Shower areas are extremely dirty all over the tiles with lots of build up grime/mould. Almost all blue barriers in the showers/changing rooms covered in grime and stains. It's extremely unpleasant to be around and a safety concern. I raised with the centre who did not apologise, advised me they have routine checks and a regimented checks but this can not be possible with the state it's in. They advised they would target the areas in question however there doesn't appear to be tick sheets on show to see when areas last checked and cleaned so these areas of concern could be left for another 6+ months till they go back to extreme state.

I love this gym I love the zumba,dance classes led by amazing teachers, I can't do much but love the energy friendly staff, and it's good for my anxiety everyone friendly in the classes which helps me massively, my mental health improving, from my past experience with other gym this is yet by far the best 👌 nothing is to much trouble for the staff amazing experience ❤️
