Had my car’s air-conditioning cleaned and re gassed. Booked online took the car in the next day. Very helpful team and prompt service. Will continue to use them in the future

Well what more can I say other than what an honest and genuine garage.

Ben and his team in F1 auto centre Canterbury were very helpful fixed my car while I waited and explained the problem without your usual well you going to need this sorted and that sorted and you end up with a bill as long as your arm.
Well done guys keep up the great work. Highly recommend.

Formula one in Basingstoke did an aweful job with my car, ruining the steering alignment and ripping me off for tyres that weren't required. Formula one Canterbury on the other hand has done a great job repairing the alignment and even investigating the other issues encountered. would recommend Canterbury only. Ask for Ben

Arrived today pre booked and pre paid appointment to have my AirCon charged.
Sorry mate no gas cant do it....Ben the manager forgot to order some...

Awful service. We booked in for an MOT and Full service. I received a phone call from a man with an aggressive tone who told me that the car needed a lot of work done then proceeded to try and push me to book it in -I asked the cost, which was over £500 and refused the work. It turns out that these were recommendations and not necessary changes! Needless to say that after initially failing it's MOT for insufficient windscreen wash, which was meant to be topped up in the service, it was then passed. So I have an unnecessary fail on my MOT history. I explained what had happened on the phone to the manager and he apologised. I took my car home to find that they had left me with a nasty oil leak. I brought the car back, refusing to leave it with them all day as the manager originally requested. The manager was abrupt and rude. A mechanic told me that the leak had been caused by someone cutting corners during the service, and said "it happens". Well it won't be happening to me again because you couldn't pay me to bring my car back there. I'd strongly recommend not sitting in the dirty waiting room as the ceiling is falling down, wires are exposed and the chairs are falling apart!!

I asked for a fix on my car, I explained what was wrong and they agreed they could do it! After taking their time and phoning me the next day they said it must be the battery! I said fair enough even though my car started on the button just had a red service light. They called me up said all done! I went to get it put the key in didn't even start it and the red light still there. Asked them what will they do and they said we can't do things like that! But they did say they could originally!sold me a battery I didn't need and just wasted my time and money.. stay well away from these cowboys

Friendly and quick service from the Canterbury Branch on the latest visit. Furthermore they answered the phone quickly - very refreshing these days!!
I have been using Fomula 1 for several years they are always competitively priced with no frills just good work and good service.

Came in today to get the tires checked. Quickly seen and friendly staff.

Took the car in checked, said the tires are fine and will certainly pass the MOT. Said they would rather be honest and then take my money that wasnt needed to be spent. Will certainly be going back and recommending to others.

Staff have always been helpful. Problems dealt with satisfactorily. We have no good reason not to keep going back year after year.

Truly Dreadful Experience - PLEASE AVOID DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY - These people are just scoundrels. About 18 months ago I had 4 Avon tyres fitted, all from the same batch. An MoT earlier this year found that ALL FOUR had unusual concentric cracking. I complained to F1, which, after some negotiation, agreed to replace the front two with two Cooper tyres for £50, return the Avons for analysis, and then decide on the rear two. The agreement being all covered by emails.
Today i tried to get the tyres fitted. Aside from the indifference of the staff, the Manager tried to confirm the situation with his Area Manager. The Area Manager reneged on the deal and the Manager tried to charge me nearly £54 a tyre and charge for valve and balance (as opposed to the agreement of £50 for two tyres all in).
Do they care about you as a customer - NO.
Will they help if you have a problem - NO.
Are they a trustworthy company - NO, not in my opinion.
I'm now going to ask my credit card company to chargeback the original amount.
PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY - THERE ARE BETTER OUT THERE.
The above applies to the Canterbury centre and the Area Manager for that centre.
