Avoid at all costs. Job was quoted at £49 pounds then changed to £169 pounds . They took the front bumper off to change a headlight bulb and whilst driving on the motorway a few days later the plastic tray attached to the underside of the bumper fell off . I had my family in the car . Phoned them up and got a call from the manager who , instead of being apologetic, refused any responsibility. Go somewhere else.

At the chelteham centre while attempting to change a tyre they managed to snap my wheel hub. Having done this they then stated that if I sourced the part they could then just charge me labour. When I pointed out why would I pay labour on a job that was caused by their staffs poor workmanship and training the centre manager became angry and aggressive. When I then spoke to the local motor factor so I could source the part and get it repaired by a proper garage they asked how it could possibly happen and having told them it was formula one that broke it their exact words were 'oh no wonder they're useless there' which tells you all you need to know

Hello, I went to have the engine oil changed and it didn't do anything to it. I am very disappointed with them.

Popped in to try and book an MOT and full service and was met with awful hostility by the man on the reception desk. Interrupted everything I was trying to say, was very negative - "nothing available until next week" even though their website suggested appointments were available as soon as the next day. Quoted me £54.85 for an MOT and when I stated I had found somewhere else offering one for £30 and quoted their "we won't be beaten on price" he nonchalantly said it doesn't count as it's "only" an MOT. I left.

Avoid all cost. Agreed on £186 for bearing replacement, wheel allightmant and just swap the rear tires for the one I already had.

When the job is finished, I was charged £241 when came back, after arguments with the man, he said that other mechanic gave the wrong price for it.

Didn't provide a copy of the wheel alignment, can not give the reason for it ( so what is the current alignment ?)

In the end, dusters within the front suspension are off, not preventing from dirt ...

Is there any managers in charge I can speak to ?? No?

Avoid at all costs , no customers service skills and will damage your car and then deny it

I recently purchased two new tyres from Formula One Tyres and was disappointed by the sales approach used during my visit.

Before fitting the tyres, I was strongly encouraged to purchase a wheel alignment for an additional £36. When I declined, I was told that I would “be back within a few months,” which came across more as a threat than genuine advice. Under this duress I found it necessary to remind the staff not to sabotage my car so I definitely would be back in the next few months.

If wheel alignment is genuinely necessary for safety or tyre longevity, then it should simply be included as part of the service recommendation in a professional and informative way — not presented in a manner that makes customers feel pressured or intimidated into spending more money.

The tyre fitting itself was fine, but the upselling experience left a negative impression and made me feel uncomfortable as a customer.

Booked my car in for a full service. Dropped it off in full working order. On collection I had error lights coming up on my dash and awful noises coming from the engine. Was told this was nothing to do with their work and they refused to rectify any of the problems. Have had to book it into a specialist to repair the damage they have done.

I bought 4 tyres online from Formula One Autocentres and found the pricing misleading. Wheel alignment was quoted at £38, but I later discovered this was plus VAT, making it £45.60. If alignment is recommended when changing all 4 tyres, the full cost should be shown upfront online.

I contacted Chris Stanley (Regional Support Manager), but he took no accountability for the lack of transparency. This was my first and will be my last visit.

I visited the cheltenham branch for my brakes change..the car was giving a change brakes warning.. but the team was very professional and took their time to advice and eventually we realised that we needed to change the discs too since they had corroded...I was very impressed with the technical advice and customer service that I was given by a lady called rachel..she is very knowledgeable about my car...A very happy customer 😀

I went to Formula one in Cheltenham to get two tyres fitted. The customer service was brilliant, they were friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable. I would go again and totally recommend them. Thank you!

Just setting off on holiday with the caravan, the brakes on the car went spongy and brake fluid leaking from underneath.Phoned F1 autocentre in Cheltenham Sunday lunchtime and repair completed by moday lunchtime saving the best part of our holiday.Thanks for quick job with excellent service.Well done!

Took my car in for a fuel saver service and couldn’t be happier. The team was fast, professional, and clearly knew their stuff — they gave the car a thorough check, topped everything up, and had it ready in no time. I have been using F1 Cheltenham for many years and they always do a great job – my car failed it’s MOT this year on a minor light issue and the guys handled the re-test without fuss with were flexible with my booking which was a big help, thank you.

Had a flat tyre yesterday and a friend put temporary spare wheel on my Volvo. Called Volvo, as I usually have my car serviced there, to ask how much this would be. It took ages before they picked up the phone and then said they could not get through to their service department and could not give me any indication. Then drove to Formula 1 Autocentre in Cheltenham. Friendly and very helpful staff at reception said I could leave the car there and then. The tyre was repaired for £27.59, and car balanced within an hour! Amazing customer services!! They phoned me as soon as it was done whilst I had a coffee near them. Can't fault them. Will definitely go there for my services in future!! Well done Formula 1 Autotcentre!!

Couldnt of been any worse, car went in for an mot and during the mot they managed to blow the abs pump leaving me with no brakes, failing the mot and leaving me with a repair and recovery bill

Polite well mannered, managed to repair my car at very short notice. Great value for money. Very helpful staff, they were happy to spend time talking through the MOT failures and the best way to rectify the faults. Overall, brilliant service, I would definitely recommend them.
