Formula One Autocentres - Colchester レビュー 

I have been bringing my cars here for a few years, and I’m always impressed by the level of service and value for money. Luke and the team are all very polite, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend F1 Autos Colchester.

We have been using F1 Auto in Colchester for probably 10 years. The service has always been reliable and price competitive - until now. Alex always ran a tight ship, but he has left.

We had our car booked in for a specific time for a tyre change. We opted to wait as it should be in theory a 15 minute job. The job started over 45 minutes late, and apart from very poor comms on why this was the case, our sense was of a disjointed unfocussed team. Later I challenged the manager over the phone about the delay and the explanation was weak.

I am happy to give the company one more chance but they better pull their socks up.

Sunday morning trailer tyre valve failure and Luke sorted it out before I had barely sat down at a reasonable cost. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Terry at Ipswich for both personal and company vehicles and clearly great customer service is evident in Colchester as well.

I have had brilliant service from Formula 1 the customer service is amazing and they a a garage you can trust . I was recommended by a friend who also had great service. I dealt with Jordan and he was very polite and kept me informed of costs on my car before going ahead with anything . I can’t recommend them enough

F1 changed wheels but three months later difficult to undo one of the wheel bolts as a thread had been crossed. Complained to F1 who refused to take any responsibility whatsoever.

The branch staff were extremely friendly and helpful and to top that, the cost of their tyres was competitively priced too! Must also give a big thankyou to the back office staff too, who ensured that their prices were honoured. Thank you Paris!

After a puncture we needed to replace a temporary wheel before continuing our journey home. We found F1 Autocentre in Colchester after another company were unable to help. It was late afternoon on a Friday. The manager listened sympathetically to our request and said they were busy but he would do his best to help. Fortunately he had a suitable tyre in stock and within 15 minutes the tyre was replaced and we were able to continue our journey. So grateful for their help.

Used them a few times with no issues. Asked them to look at a wheel after hitting a pothole & change tyre as it was losing a 1-2 psi per week, so assumed slow puncture. Quite a new tyre, only recently changed. They were delivered the wrong tyre, not their fault but car kept an additional day for the right one. Told me the wheel was fine. New tyre pressure went to zero within hours. Took it back, oh yes actually the wheel is cracked. So nothing was wrong with the previous tyre and I've unnecessarily spent £220 on a new tyre I didn't need. Then they started saying there was evidence of damage to the previous tyre and "if I know how run flats work" then because I'd driven it on low pressure the walls had bulged out. I never drove it on low pressure. Before I took the car in I could still drive around safely. Now I have a tyre I didn't need that cannot be inflated and a car that cannot be used. I'm £220 worse off and immobile. I asked for my old tyre back so I can check this damage they're claiming and they shrugged and said there are 500 tyres in the yard so it'll be hard to find. At no point was anything offered. No refund, no apology. I need to attend emergencies for my job so now spending hundreds in hiring a car. Most dismal service I've had at a garage. Real shame as up till then I was happy – but clearly they couldn't care less that I was a repeat customer.

Edited on 9th May: do not be fooled by the reply below which gives the impression of being interested, last week I was contacted by head office to ask me to remove my review as "the problem had been settled by the local branch". The local branch didn't contact me once, and appear to have told their head office it was sorted. I responded with this, and only then did I receive a single call and voicemail asking me to call them. This is the level of service you can expect, one call over a month later.

Shout out to your man Jordan. Fantastic service. Above and beyond what was expected.

Great service from F1 in Colchester as usual. Broken coil spring found in the MOT. Sorted out the next day. Very polite and efficient.

Two rear tyres fitted at Colchester branch, one was not fitted correctly, cannot put air into it since. Rude people, have put the phone down on me. Reported to Blackcircles.com as my order was via them. Avoid.

I took my car for a MOT. The service I received from the Team at Formula One, at North Station Road, was excellent. I use them for their honesty, professionalism and banter. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Went in to this outlet with a strange noise at the front of my car.Manager Jordan had me in for an inspection very quickly.
He diagnosed my problem very accurately and fixed it straight away. Very knowledgeable and helpful throughout....I will be back

My vehicle had a full service and MOT at the Colchester branch recently, which has a new Manager Jordan.
The branch is always busy yet the atmosphere was a lot calmer than previous times. Jordan was informative and professional and all staff were friendly and efficient.
Most certainly will go back.

Absolutely dug me out of a hole today. Excellent service and really helpful. I really can not express how helpful they were today, Although they were incredibly busy, they went above and beyond to help me get back on the road and to be safe.

Came off the motorway with a loud noise coming from the exhaust, the guys at Colchester were friendly and welcoming and were able to look at the problem.
