Really helped me out when I dropped the brake fluid cap and it got stuck in the engine tray.

Josh at reception was very helpful and polite, got my car booked in for tracking even though it was a last minute request and he managed to fit in the same day and got it done before the expected time given. Great bunch of guys and definitely know how to keep or bring a new customer in. Definitely be my goto from now on.

Before today I had very little experience with car garages, but I feel so compelled to leave a review after visiting the Kettering branch of Formula One Autocentres.

Yesterday afternoon I went to use my car to see a flat tyre - having a full time job and two young children, and one car between me and my husband - I was in a huge panic. It felt like the worse timing. I called Formula One in Kettering and from the minute they answered the phone I felt at ease and a huge sense of relief. The gentlemen reassured me all would be OK and he would do all he can to sort it out for me as soon as possible - he heard the kids in the background of the call and specifically said that he would do all he could because he knew I had kids. As a parent, this kind of customer service is outstanding.

I couldn't get to him right then - he was willing to stay late for me - but instead I took him up on the offer of arriving at 8:30am the next morning. I arrived at 8:20, and even though I was early, and the team were getting started for the day, the gentleman took the time to speak to me and reassure me yet again he would prioritise my car and job straight away.

He spoke clearly and was really personable and friendly.

I sat in my car for 5 minutes whilst he set up for the day, at 8:30 on the dot, I was out my car and it was being taken care of.

He took me in to warmth, spoke to me about what had happened, what they will do and also was just genuinely interested in me - having a great conversation.

Everything was sorted efficiently and honestly.

I can't recommend the Kettering branch enough!

All I wanted was a MOT and service on a Transit Custom Van! I booked the work to be done a week ahead. Plenty of time to get materials you would of thought - oil and filter, that's it.

So they had the van all day and didn't answer the phone.

I turned up at 5:50 pm as they close at 6. The van was on the ramp with the bonnet up - No road test after the work then.

I have been conned before with garages so I didn't tell the garage about the faults. As it was a service - I assumed they would see them.

After picking the van up I found out that an air filter wasn't included in the service! An air filter!!!! A minor problem really.

Then they tried to charge me £192 when I was told it would be £175.95 - they did correct it however but the invoice says less then £175!!

The electric wing mirrors don't work and the passenger side window doesn't work either - this I assumed would be noticed.

Yet they said the wheel alignment was out but it was ok.

I have no faith in them whatso ever and plan to take it to another garage to get checked over.

Stay away from the garage. This is going to take me more time and unsure in the van is safe to drive with missing such minor problems - how the hell can I trust they actual did anything.

I will not be returning to this garage again and recommend you stay away too.

Honestly I could not thank and recommend these enough. Had a flat tyre after school pickup. A colleague recommended F1 Autocentres and I booked online for a new tyre the same day!

I paid online, was greeted by a friendly team. Had a quick chat with the tyre girl (Amelia I think her name was!) Within 20 minutes she had checked and fixed my tyre. Turns out it was only a valve issue and the tyre was absolutely fine!

They kindly refused to accept payment for fitting a new valve and the labour and refunded me the money I’d paid for the tyre the next day.

There really are some genuine, honest, trustworthy people in this world and these guys are all this and more. I would use them again without a doubt and confidently recommend to family and friends.

Booked car in for 2 new tyres for 1300 arrived at 1250 left car with manager.told car would be 20 to 30 mins .went back at 1325 car not even started.NOT GOOD

Calvin Cherry and the Staff where exceptional, very knowledgable, welcoming and friendly.

This is the 3rd time ive now used them to sort my car out, and ill most certainly be visiting again.

I needed some urgent advice and popped into Formula One. Josh helped diagnose my problem, resolved it very quickly and went out of his way to come to my rescue! I could not actually be more grateful for his help . I would absolutely return here for any future issues . Josh thank you so much - what an absolute gem you are !

My car was booked in for it's 1st MOT.
It was carried out in a timely and professional manner.
The staff were friendly and the overall appearance of the premises was nice and clean.

3 hours away from home on business I turned up at closing time with a puncture and the staff were fantastic. They stayed on past closing to fix my car so I could get home that evening. Can’t thank them enough, brilliant service and putting the customer first

Recently Took my car to formula 1 in kettering for an mot. They were extremely busy but still managed to fit me in while I waited. Reception staff were very polite and professional. Will be coming back for my service in a few months.

Had an MOT at the Kettering branch, the process was smooth and quick, great price and fantastic service. The chap serving at the counter is a true credit to your company

Speechless great service from start to finish my track rod end collapsed on Saturday I was towed in immediately and my trackrod end was fixed within hours Calvin couldn't do enough along with his team of mechanics, fantastic service I will not use anyone else moving forward...

I had a full service at Kettering in 2020. I intended to lodge a complaint at the time, but had news a very close family member had a terminal illness, so did not pursue it. The customer service was shocking. They did not put the board back on properly underneath my car after the service, it came off and bent when I reversed and trapped my car on the drive. I had to call out a mobile mechanic as I was about to go on holiday the following day. He had to remove it. I reported it to the manager, he apologised and said he would replace it. Numerous calls later after being fobbed off, I turned up to the shop, with the cover in my hand, they cable tied the cover back on, and said they would call me when they had authorisation for the new part. They never did, they just fobbed me off. I would never use F1 again.

Ordered online and made payment
Arrived 15 minutes before booked time
Waited over an hour, only to be told they could not do the job of fitting two tyres.
Was told that they do not have a Jack capable of lifting a Transit Van of 3.5t
Told I would get a refund, it ain't happened yet, I am amazed they are still in business if they don't have the correct equipment.
I would like to buy these tyres elsewhere but have not received my refund

I used to come here all the time and would recommend them to anyone however I’m not sure what’s going on lately but I would suggest everyone AVOIDS this place. Had my partners car for over 2 months to fix a few problems. Every time we called they said the issue was not sorted. It finally came time to collect the car and somehow they had locked it from the inside which meant anyone was unable to get into the car.

We had to wait over a week for them to decide what to do. Every time we called they said oh we aren’t sure how to get into the car.. finally they said they would have to break a window. We said okay that’s fine as long as you fix it. Cue another couple of days wait.

We had to chase constantly throughout. Not once did they call us with an update!

Waited another week and they said yep we have done it now you can collect tomorrow.

Went to pick the car up this morning and was absolutely shocked at the additional damage they have done.

It’s like they have used the car as storage for 2 months.

They had put someone else’s battery on the back floor of the car resulting in battery acid leaking everywhere into the carpets - they offered to fit another carpet for free but to be honest we don’t trust them and who’s to say they won’t have it for another two months and incur even more damage!

Also the speaker has been wrecked with a huge gash in the side of it.

Absolutely appalled that they have even allowed this to happen!

We won’t be returning and I suggest everyone else finds a more reputable garage.
