There’s a guy named Jack at this premises. Him and his staff will buy items from you online and then make up stories that item is damaged and when sending them replacements they claim that the replacement is damaged. When arranging collection they tried to keep one whole item. They will blackmail you in order that you send them “some free tools” as it’s a brand new centre and claim they are the UK’s largest tyre supplier. They have been banned by one tool supplier for what they tried to do. If you’re an online seller don’t fall for these lots lies and pressure they just try to scam you fro free tools.

The garage in Maldon was amazing. So helpful when I desperately needed an oil top up

Friendly staff, clean and tidy garage and reception, efficient service and car was as clean as I left it, reasonable price.

Called in with emergency puncher and was told to come back tomorrow at 12 o’clock unhelpful and not the way to encourage business!

Booked MOT online for the Maldon centre. Everything ready when I arrived. I had a query which they were very helpful with. Car ready on time. Overall helpful and friendly staff, efficient service, what more could you ask for. Recommended

Today I got stranded in maldon when my can battery died, the car wouldn't start at all.
I walked over to Formula one Autocentres to ask advice. Mitchell the guy on the desk, walked back to my car with me, had a look, ascertained it was the battery, walked back to formula one, checked to see if he had a battery in stock, he did, so walked back to my car with the battery, fitted it there and then! This was all done within 1/2 hour

Thought I’d give them a go , booked my Sprinter in for 4 tyres , when I arrived for my appointment , I was told they only had one fitter and one trolley jack . Asked if I could leave it with was told 3hrs plus .
I declined as I had ongoing meeting
The asked if I could call on Monday to see if it was possible to reschedule , subject repaired trolley jacks return !!
I called customer service later in the day and requested a refund .
Never again , no positive feedback from customer service , they didn’t care about the inconvenience caused !!

I dropped in following a flat tyre, the car was sorted quickly and professionally and the guys working there are very friendly. They previously sorted a windscreen spray blockage for free as well! Wonderful shop with very reasonable prices!

good old fashioned service. the best price by £30 for one tyre. order one day, arrived the next.. no stress... thanks to Terry and the team.

Avoid at all costs. They have no idea what they are doing. Rude, unhelpful, Customer service a joke. Manager is a waste of space. Do your self a favor and use one of the other decent local Garages.

Amazing staff, Terry was fantastic, very friendly, professional, explained things clearly to me, job was done quickly and professionally. I will definitely be using again. 5 star service, recommend 100%

My car was booked in for a service, but turned out to be more work than originally expected , the crew at Formula One accommodated the extra work and kept me updated on each stage, the car was finished in time for me to collect as arranged, very polite and professional crew, would be happy to recommend.

Went to the Maldon branch to have two new tyres fitted. It was our first visit and we were very impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. We will be using their services in the future.

Unfortunately, I will not be using this Maldon garage again. Despite having 20% off

I booked a service through their website and a tyre through asda tyres and when I arrived I informed the guy at reception that this was the case. He phoned approx 1240 to say there was work to be carried out, which I had expected. He mentioned my tyre being 2mm, but that they don't have any in stock. I reminded him I bought a tyre and it just needs fitting. He said he would look for that order

I had to chase them up at 4pm to find out what was going on, when I was told there was a delay due to getting parts

I took my car in at 0830 and got it back at 1800 hours. I've never had such a long delay before when attending garages for a service that they keep my car for literally all day. This is including more work being done than what they did.

I get home and found they haven't even put on the tyre I purchased! Despite a delay in getting parts, they hadnt manage to do that. Can't phone them because they give my car back at the last minute and are now shut.

Further to this, the mechanics have damaged my car, and not informed me of this. They have broke my air filter bolt. I completely understand that screws rust, causing them to snap/break but to not be informed of this or offered to be replaced. I find this disgraceful. I doubt they thought I would notice.

I noticed on my invoice there was an alloy wheel balance. I don't recall agreeing to this. When I've had someone check over it, they've informed me that the mechanics have just replaced the weight, in the same place as before, so effectively this work wasn't required.

I had to cancel my asda tyre and will go to another garage for the business, because its just appalling that they were reminded twice and had my car all day and still not changed my tyre. Damaged my air filter bolt and not informed me of this, I'm not happy with my experience with this garage and won't be returning

Customer service was friendly and greeting, but overall experience was disappointing and caused me nothing but inconvenience

Have a launched a formal complaint in regards to an extra charge being on my invoice that I don't recall agreeing to and the damage to my air filter bolt.

I have edited this review 3 times because today I've just realised they've charged me for the bulb, yet not replaced it. I'm absolutely appalled by this level of service and will no be in contact with my credit card company to dispute these charges

Great service from friendly and polite staff.

Very friendly guys... checked my tyre after I hit a pothole ..I called ahead I didnt have to wait long.. they checked it over put more air in and didn't charge
