Booked for MOT and small service at NUL branch. MOT failure; advised it needs 1 new tyre 2 springs and 1 track rod end. Cost over £800. Having checked for Fail certificate on DVSA I was shocked to see that only tyre was failed, others were advisories. I queried with branch manager who lied and laughed at me. Requested SAR and raised formal complaint. I WAS TOTALLY VINDICATED via SAR. Complaint handled by Regional manager who failed to understand I had paid for work not required to get a MOT pass. Will NEVER use again

I went to the Hanley branch. They couldn’t fit me a tyre because the compressor was broken. Fair enough. I asked them to phone the Newcastle branch to see if they had the tyre I needed. They refused, said the Newcastle branch doesn’t answer the phones.
I then went to the Newcastle branch, they refused to fit me a Tyre because I didn’t have an appointment. I was the only customer there at the time. The 2 fitters were stood outside talking.
I was in disbelief. Not sure how they manage to stay open and I’m sure the area manager wouldn’t be happy. I will never go back to this chain again

Been using this garage for years. Knocking on back of car, £800 plus bill, still knocking so took it back, £600 worth of more work, told the issue was finally sorted, STILL knocking! By now, as you can imagine, I was furious, weeks of inconvenience and disruption. Due to the staff being lovely, and against my better judgement, I booked my MOT and service. Booked the day off work, turned up to be told the MOT man isn't in for two weeks! I won't be using them again. Such a shame because the staff are lovely, welcoming, and friendly, so I'm very very disappointed 👎

These guys went above and beyond to help me out on a Sunday afternoon. Having woken to a flat tyre I managed to get the car to the garage, although they were already busy they managed to get my tyre sorted and safe. Will definitely be going back again.
Booked car in for air con clean and re-gas using the online booking system, took my money and sent reminder for the work. Got to the branch to be told we do not do air con work here. At no point was I advised that this branch could not do the work. Now on a Friday with a 150 mile trip ahead and 2 young children in a car with this heat and the air con not blowing cold I am fuming. Extremely disappointing.

mot I was booked in for 1.45 was told when i got there that i had to wait till 2.45 because my on line booking didn’t go through so why didn’t i get a phone call to let me know very poor extra 2 hr wait i left my car there and later on i get a call to say it’s done there had been a cancellation don’t believe it

My car was booked in for 2.30pm for exhaust repair. I arrived at 2pm and the parts for the repair had not been delivered. After ringing around the parts were delivered at 3.15pm - I watched them arrive. Why had nobody checked this before I arrived? My car was put onto the ramp and at 4pm nobody had started work on my car. At 4.15 the engineer started work on my car. At 4.30pm I was informed that there was a problem and that my car could not be fixed that day with possible time constraints. I had been at the garage for two and a half hours waiting only to be told I had to come back another day. But I was also told that someone WAS working on my car - which was not true as I was sitting in the waiting room watching it. I then agreed to return on a day that suited me but it somehow did not suit the mechanic as he had other jobs to do on that day. If someone had looked at my car properly when the parts arrived there could have been time to repair my car - and I was knowingly left to sit and watch other customers come and go and nobody attended to my car and then I was made to feel uncomfortable for speaking up about it. I have absolutely no faith that there is any sense of urgency or respect for a timed appointment - I think my car was left as other "easier" jobs were more important. I had taken a great deal of time and effort to get the time off for this work to be completed.

Brilliant service. Had my tray come off and I had tried to put it back but no luck. Took it to the mechanics and a very kind gentleman working there had a look and sorted it out in minutes without any delays. Very pleased and really appreciate the kind gesture of not letting me wait around to have it done.
Easy to book. Good price. Dropped my car off for a service and MOT and all completed very efficiently. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I popped in as I thought I had a slow puncture on one of my back tyres.
I was greeted with a smile and was informed that if I didn't mind waiting they could look at it there and then.
I turned out that I did have a puncture, and it was repaired for me.
The mechanic noticed after inflating the other tyre that the pressure had gone down again so that was looked at and was found to have a faulty valve.
The gentleman who greeted me on arrival informed me of the cost during the process and what was actually wrong with my tyres.
I am very pleased with the service I received.
Fantastic. Never disappointed always sorted out our car issues. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Couldn't be happier. Have used several times now and never been disappointed. Will return and highly recommended.
Went in for tyres and wheel tracking.
Didn't do the wheel tracking or safety checks that I had booked days in advance. Won't be going back again.

Terrible service.
Visited many times for MOT, tyres, brakes, servicing. Gradually service is now appalling and I wouldn't think of going back. My last visit following an MOT, I was presented with a long list of issues with my car regarding the brakes. Checked with another garage, brakes are fine. Worse than that the work I had done on the car at Formula One, when checked by another garage, showed they had stripped all the bolts on a rear arm, which then had to be retapped by this garage. They couldn't hear a squeak on the car, never mind actually fix it. Never again, I don't trust them at all. They are out to rip you off.
