My fabric, patterns and other bits arrive quickly, so that I can start my project.

I live in the US and come to Southampton England once a year and when i get to Southampton i make a be line for your store trusting on my memory, i always find some fabric that i can’t resist and have to have, I appreciate you for keeping me updated on what you have got come in, its hard to buy fabric without handling it, see what it feels like when im at your store, my mind goes into action and i get an inspiration take it from there i do have a question do you have two inches wide non rolled elastic? I can’t buy it here in the US since our fabric store JoAnns close down in the United States can you get back to me on this question thank you, i look forward to hearing back from you, from LiliAnn Gallagher

I have now placed a couple of orders with you, and have been very pleased indeed with your service, quick delivery and the quality and design of your fabrics. I have ordered from the £1 metre range and they are just excellent and cannot be beaten for the money! Such a variety, not just a couple of designs to select from. Maxine emailed me on one occasion to say a fabric I'd ordered was sold out, so I was able to change to another choice - it was all done so efficiently and quickly. And Maxine's videos are good, very helpful. Keep them coming, please. All in all, I'm delighted with the service received.

I have been using fabric land for a couple of years now and every delivery has been amazing, They are good at letting you know when your delivery is being sent out and if they have a delay they call or email you to let you know. There fabric is amazing

Extremely dissatisfied with this company. I ordered a 100m uncut roll of Roman blind tape that looked white on their web page yet what arrived was a distinctly yellow colour that was completely unfit for purpose. Despite the product clearly not matching the description, the company refused to accept a return . This is unacceptable customer service and misleading advertising. I strongly advise others to avoid ordering from them.
Consumer Contracts Regulations state
You generally have the right to return an online order if it’s not what you expected, even if you simply change your mind

I'm boycotting this company and shop now which is a shame because there are very few fabric shops in Bristol. Is there another one?

They messed up a collect order, it was one spool of thread short. Having told them I was asked to send copies of all paperwork that accompanied the order - 6 pages. Then I was asked to send a photo of the order. That's when I decided that it wasn't worth it, that they're wasting my time as well as having messed up the order. The missing spool of thread is worth £2.05 on a £30 order.

This is the second order of three that they messed up - my first order was the wrong colour fabric that I ordered.
If you're ordering to collect, suggest that you open it up and check in store before leaving.

Fabric Land resolved this which I am grateful for. I will be following my own advice and checking collections in store before leaving.

Changing to 3 stars because they did resolve it.

Great quality fabrics, at excellent prices. Prices range from £1 a metre upwards. Customer service is told notch. First online order I made, one fabric was OOS, they rang me, offered to switch the fabric for a different colour or refund me. Chose the different colour. Delivery was quick, much sooner than I anticipated and everything was perfect.
Have just put in my 2nd order, phone call soon after, they've not got the ribbon I need in one long length (10m) lady apologised and offered to send either 3 shorter lengths adding up to 11m or delay until next week when they'd try to source from the shops. As I'm cutting them into shorter lengths the first option works well for me. Used to shop in store but no longer live near one, so online is great for me. Only thing I miss from the physical stores, are the roll ends in the baskets as I often picked up something different or unusual.

Have used this company for some years, beginning with their shop in Portsmouth, then when this closed in Brighton and finally Southampton which has recently closed. Such good quality, selection and price. Now ordering online - company supply swatches of material and are quick with delivery. Used them for many costumes and fancy dress. Latest purchase was lining for curtains

I recently ordered and received curtain fabric and lining online. The whole experience was excellent. The price could not be matched anywhere else. Very good value. I also visited the Kingston store. They are so pleasant and very helpful. 10 out if 10 Fabricland.

Fabricland has been my go-to shop for 25 years and as a dressmaker, I depend on it.BUT the website won't let me in and any bonus points I may have accrued are not available. Please look at the programming or has Google got something against you?

Made a trip from Poole to Southampton with a long list of badly needed essentials, just to find it closed. I was incredibly disappointed as Bournemouth has now closed as well. Please come back!!

Great prices and quick delivery. But most importantly good quality fabric. I usedct shirting to make a top and polycotton for a matching shirt, very pleased with the finished results, and under £15 for the 2 including thread, buttons etc!!
Also any questions or queries are answered swiftly.

Fab shop ,I used the Bournemouth store and then Southampton. Such a shame Southampton is closing now too. Amazing cotton fabrics with great customer service , thank you to all your staff. You will be missed.

I just love all the fabrics from fabric land i am never disappointed, their £1 a metre fabrics are all brilliant too, if you haven’t tried fabric land before I recommend you do you will never want or need to go anywhere else. Thankyou fabric land

Excellent very helpful staff

When shopping in the Kingston store, they are very patient and professional when answering a query. Also they give good advice on what fabric to use on a project. Plus, importantly, when asked if the fabric would suit one, they are very honest - "Yes" or "No"

The range is incredible, both in colours and material type. The quality of the material for the price is exceptional. I felt like a child in a toy shop. I wanted it all.
