The 2 men who delivered the settee were…
The 2 men who delivered the settee were very helpful and found a way to remove the old sofa before bringing in the new one. It was all delivered and the new one put together in a few minutes.

Good service came really quickly and…

Excellent service despite problems with the original bed base being too large to fit up the stairs, everybody worked hard to find a solution and as early as possible delivery. Recommended

I purchased a new bed
I purchased a new bed, mattress & dining chairs from Fairway in Par. We chose the colour headboard we wanted & the sale was quick & easy. When my items were delivered there was no head board & my delivery notice said base only. I called Fairway & was told I had to speak to the sales man that dealt with my order but he was not in. I called again the following day & was told the sales man would call me. Eventually he did but told me the bed i bought didnt come with a headboard. We were not told this at the time of sale even though he was stood with us when we chose the colour. I was then told that he would get management to call me on the saturday but that call never came through. Very disappointed. I have bought other furniture from this store but after this experience I will shop elsewhere from now on!

Good afternoon, thank you for taking the time to leave your review of your recent purchase with us. We are disappointed to hear that you are unhappy with the service you received from our St Austell store.
Looking at your sales paperwork, you are correct that no headboard was ordered. Some of our beds do come with a complimentary headboard, but the ottoman base with the True Seasons mattress that you ordered does not. They are two separate items and do not come as a complete bed set. This should have been made clear to you when you placed your order, and we are very sorry that this has not happened. The member of staff who served you is new, and we have raised this as an urgent training need going forward, so issues like this can be avoided in the future.
We can only apologise that a manager did not call you as expected. We have looked at the notes on your order and cant see any record of the phone calls that you describe. Again we are looking at this urgently, as all communication between us and our customers should be logged to ensure the highest levels of customer service are maintained. Regrettably in this instance this has not happened.
As a family run local business, we put customer service at the forefront of everything we do, and we find it regretful that in your case we did not meet the high standards that we strive for. Kind regards – Fairway Furniture

There was no need for delivery would have fitted both item,s in car.

I live alone took 1.5 hrs for first 40min .second
Really happy with chairs
Not happy at having to assemble myself. Not explained at purchase, or delivery charge when only live few hundred yds from store which would have fitted in my car.
Overall experience,
1, pleasant sales team, good quality item's,
2, no need for pushed expensive delivery,
3, No explanation of self erection flat pack packagings.
Feel a little mislead spoiled the experience.
Would I use again ( yes but with more caution as to the finer detail,

Good morning, thank you for taking the time to review your recent purchase with us. We are disheartened to hear of the issues you had with your shopping experience in our St Austell store.
We can understand your frustration with regards the delivery charges, but we insist on delivery for these items as they can be large and difficult to handle, and we want to avoid customer injury, as well as any damage to the item, for which you as a customer would be liable if it were to occur.
We would also like to apologise that you were not informed of the need to assemble your chairs. You should have been advised that these chairs do require assembly, and this has been escalated as a high priority training need for the store. We are also looking at how we can make this clearer for our customers going forward.

Always a great experience with Fairway…
Always a great experience with Fairway Furniture. But it's the first time we've bought from your St Austell store and it was a very pleasant experience. We weren't intending to buy that day but with the choice of sofas and the knowledge of Andrea, it was an easy choice. We received regular emails while waiting for our order to arrive, giving us time to decorate. It was delivered on time by 2 professional chaps and soon assembled. Will definitely be going back to Fairway in the future.

A truly wonderful experience — thank you Will
We visited Fairway Furniture in St Austell with my adult daughter, who has additional needs , to find two chairs for her TV room. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel completely welcome.
Our salesman Will introduced himself and listened carefully to what we needed. When my daughter wasn’t engaging, I explained we’d like to just have a browse — and Will was completely respectful of that, giving us space while still being on hand to help. He pointed us in the right direction and we found exactly what we were looking for — a posture supporting, wipeable chair that was just perfect.
What really stood out was the way Will handled our situation with such kindness and compassion. He read the room beautifully, made sure my daughter was included in every part of the conversation, and explained everything clearly throughout the process — all without a hint of pressure. It made what could have been a stressful shopping trip an absolute pleasure.
We left with a handshake and a high five for my daughter, which meant the world to us.
Will, you are a superstar. We will absolutely be back. Thank you so much to you and the team at Fairway Furniture — this is customer service at its very best.

A Great shipping experience
A great store Fairway Furniture at St Austell to go to. A great selection of lovely furniture. We purchased a sofa bed for our spare room. Jason was really helpful and gave us a lot of information on the sofa bed and a great demonstration of opening the bed. He was friendly and helpful. From walking in to the store and delivery of the Sofa bed was 1st class. We were informed of delivery date a day before delivery.
