A very fast turnaround from the very aptly named Fast Plans Ltd. Professional, competent and customer focused, able to reflect what I wanted from the extension into the plans they drew up. Would highly recommend them and use them again too.

Extremely quick turnaround from initial instruction to submission of plans to the council for approval.
The quote was very competitive too, but the main benefit to me is having both the Planning and Building Control drawings completed together, rather than dealing with multiple consultants.

We used Fastplans for our Loft conversion, the process was smooth and professional throughout. Drawings supplied are fantastic and really maximised the space in our loft conversion. We are just about to start our build for the loft conversion. All plans and structural drawings done by Fastplans and it was so easy and painless. Having been through this before on a number of occasions with other architects and structural engineers I have to say this is the future. All payments, contracts, etc were by email, our design meetings were over conference or telephone with design changes emailed over within hours. George explained the regulations and guided us but essentially he facilitated our ideas. Highly recommended all-round. Peter.

Real cowboy developers. They've started works without full planning permission. I'm minded to seek a 'stop notice'.

I'm also a wee bit suspicious of the 5 star reviews most of them are one review only

Try using a company that plays by the rules as opposed to alienating neighbours

At first I wasn’t 100% sure about this one price/whole package deal. It looked a bit too good to be true. But I do not regret employing Fast Plans. George was always quick to respond and if there were any problems he tried to fix them as soon as possible. The survey was done very quickly and the process from first payment to last drawings was very efficient. He accommodated all our questions and desired changes and submitted it all to the Council - small hiccups there but again George represented us in the discussion and finally we got the permission to build. They don’t do everything - it’s not a building management company but they’re approachable and helpful.

George was very professional, came up with a smart plan for our loft space, was quick to respond also guided us through the next steps. We were very happy with the work he did for us and would definitely recommend him to our friends. He delivered fast but also quality service. What we also liked that it was a comprehensive package he did the initial plans, submitted the application, and then did structural calculations.

I contacted fast plans to do the drawing and planning for my loft conversion. They did. 4 out of 5 builders who I gave their plans told me that the drawings are just a design plan and not suitable to build anything according to them. 1 builder did not complain, the one fast plans recommended. Anyway, planning was approved by the council and I started to arrange times and dates for the construction. The builders wanted to start but they couldn't because building control wasn't informed about the construction. Now I never had built anything in this country, so I don t know the exact procedures. That is why I hired somebody to assist me. (Fast plans) This is what they wrote to me when we started: "Our service includes producing all planning/PD drawings, all building regs drawings and all engineers calculations. This is a comprehensive package and no further input will be needed from an architect or engineer. We will also submit the drawings to the council for you and manage the planning/PD process on your behalf." True it does not say anything about building control, but a heads up would have been nice. Overall rubbish communication, rubbish service. I am more than upset!

Really great service, not only faster and cheaper than any other quotes I received but George was a great liaison with planning, building control and the party wall surveyor!

The service I received from Fastplansuk was excellent. The plans for a loft conversion, which included structural calculations, were completed and returned within a week. An amendment required by building control was done quick and with no fuss. Very satisfied with their service.

Fastplanuk have done exactly what they said they would do, which was to have our property measured and surveyed within a week and have plans ready within 2 weeks! The price for with was a third of the quote from another architect and the whole job was done in less time than it took the other company to produce a quote. George Kain produced professional CAD drawing, knows the ins and outs of applications and is fast and efficient. And is easy to get hold of, responding to emails quickly. He made the changes we wanted to our plans overnight. Brilliant service!

Brilliant service!!!! Super fast, and all changes requested were made. Will definitely use again! They showed me a lot of patience when I kept asking questions and explained everything very clearly! I changed my mind numerous times and eventually used the original design and this wasn't a problem at all. Would recommend to anyone and actually was cheaper than all of the other quotes I got! George - I will use you again in the future!

Really great professional service which is far quicker and more reasonably priced than vast majority of competition out there. Have very deep and expansive knowledge of architecture, engineering and planning process. Extremely friendly and affable staff who respond to you when asked. The perfect all-in-one planning package -would thoroughly recommend!

Choosing Fastplans was the best decision I could have made . It was instantly obvious that George was extremely experienced and knew exactly what I needed and how best to achieve it . The plans arrived super fast and were perfectly presented. He dealt with all the council correspondence from the initial submission to council approval . George was also able to recommend a builder in my area and after meeting several building companies George’s recommendation was by far the best .I am delighted with my loft extension and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Fastplans
