I joined a few weeks ago, everyone is welcoming. I love that you have to book into a class, which means you are never on top of someone else while working out, which can get distracting. There is so much variety with the classes and equipment. I love having access to a massage chair, for that extra relaxation.

Such a friendly atmosphere!

Disappointed with current experience. Chirnside Park club is undergoing major renovations, which significantly affects the overall atmosphere and usability. It’s highly unpleasant to work out when the facility is busy, especially with limited space. I’m still being charged full price despite only having access to a fraction of the club. Key services that attracted me (like the cycle classes) are unavailable for up to 10 weeks. I asked about compensation and was told none would be offered, yet new members are still being signed up. Very frustrating. At this time, I cannot recommend joining.

I really love Fernwood Mordialoc! I feel safe, motivated, supported - oh so much supported by the instructors and the members, and rewarded! LOVE IT! And I will recommend to any women that wants to be fit, stronger and confident!

I’ve had such a great experience at Fernwood! From the moment I walked in, the team has been incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made joining so much easier. There’s a wide range of classes to suit every fitness level and interest — whether I’m in the mood for something high-energy or more relaxing, there’s always something on offer. The gym itself is spotlessly clean and well-maintained, creating a really comfortable and motivating environment to work out in. I love the variety it has to offer so that I don’t get tired of the same class. Been going for 3 months and loving it. Highly recommend!

I love the atmosphere, my personal trainer and the range of classes on offer. Everyone is always very helpful.

The personal trainers are all amazing and take the time to understand your goals. Patricia is particularly awesome. Keeping her finger on the pulse of the gym to ensure everyone has positive outcomes.
I absolutely adore Pilates at Fernwood and Nadira's classes are five star.

Lovely environment where everyone is supportive. I feel comfortable and confident coming to the gym four days a week. Staff are super approachable. Coming to the gym has improved my mental health drastically. I wish I had of joined sooner.

It’s everything you want in a gym. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and energetic, as soon as you walk in the door you are met with smiles. The gym is clean, spacious and filled with all the essential equipment. The amenities are plentiful, with breakfast, coffee, fruit and a clean bathroom/changing area. Being a female only gym makes working out feel comfortable and secure. The absolute best part is having childcare on site, the educators are so loving and make the children feel safe and happy. LOVE IT.

Some of the reformer pilates instructors are really good at teaching. Monica being one of them. She is so good in motivation. She motivates you to try hard to achieve your fitness goals. I enjoy her class.

kind staff, kind women go works out there, no feelings of judgement. good gym although I wish there were some other machine, the classes are great, the showers on the second floor are amazing, the place is clean… only the fee cancellation for classes suck. it’s expensive as well.

Fernwood Belconnen does not have any consistency. They seem unable to retain staff and the classes keep changing after many were dropped all together. The pump equipment is average at best. More focus on group fitness over paid extras would be really nice. The staff are lovely but very thin on the ground. Infrared sauna is a great addition but as it is only offered during staffed hours which are way less than they used to be, it’s not offered much unless you can go during the day and that is if they remember to turn it on!

I joined Fernwood for the classes. I’ve realised I’m terrible at doing my own thing at the gym. The classes are fantastic. I’m doing 3 or 4 reformer classes a week. And I’m absolutely loving the Fit-30 classes. I’m at the gym generally 5 or 6 days a week. The full membership is expensive, but very worthwhile for all the classes I’m squeezing in weekly.

Fun challenging classes, and great trainers, especially barre. We need a bigger room though, with how popular it is. Maybe some free standing long barres in the group fitness room would accommodate for everyone.

Those awesome early morning classes with the best instructors totally made my day! I can only work out early, and I love how passionate and dedicated everyone is. Big thanks to my fave, Cecilia Chan. Love her Saturday morning classes.

The classes are great, but this is the second period in a year where the turnover has been so high all the classes I have been going to regularly have been dropped and is extremely frustrating. Whilst solo work is Ofcourse always an option seriously considering cancelling my membership if the classes situation does not improve
