Delayed Shipments, No Tracking, Unhelpful Customer Service

Only 1 of 2 items in my order were delivered, the one being left out was important medication. Upon calling to ask what happened, I was assured the item would arrive the following day. It did not. I was not provided any additional detail, tracking etc.

Upon calling again, I was given the same runaround - “we don’t have tracking but we’ll call you later with an update”

If it were not for the advertised $50 off on the order, I probably would have just placed the order through my regular vet. I definitely will not be using fetch for commerce in the future

Incredibly broken site/system

1 star because the meds seem fine and legit if you ever receive them. -4 stars for literally everything else.

This website is broken beyond comprehension. They promise free 1-3 day shipping on the header, but when you actually check out, the shipping estimate will be anything from 3-7 business days. That’s fine and something I can plan around, except on multiple occasions now, I’ve placed orders that simply NEVER SHIP. When I reach out to customer service, they sometimes have no idea why — or sometimes they tell me that it’s because I ordered multiple items, and 1 item is currently out of stock. (It was in stock when I ordered it. And sometimes I message in several days/weeks apart and get told that the order is on hold because DIFFERENT items are currently out of stock
 meaning they don’t just hold the items they have in stock for you, they just let other people buy them and let your order languish until all the stars magically align. Honestly if it showed in stock when you place the order and they somehow find out something’s out of stock, the correct thing to do as a business that sells critical medication is to ship the in-stock items first! And also to email you to apologize for one item being out of stock! But I NEVER get a notification for my orders that don’t ship — it’s on me to keep checking to see if the order has shipped, and it’s on me to reach out to find out why.)

At its most egregious, I’ve had to wait over a month for a medication my cat depends upon, and this is after reaching out to customer service 3-4 times to ask them to please help me get the medication I ordered from them.

Every interaction with customer service also takes forever. (This is probably not their fault. They just work for this hell site. Probably the back end of this site/service is even more broken than its front end, and they can’t figure out what’s happening either.)

No refund or compensation for the insane situation this puts me in (I obviously have to scramble to source my cat’s meds elsewhere when the medication I am waiting on never arrives) has ever been offered.

I continue to warily place orders from this site only because my pet insurance locks me in if I don’t want them to cap my coverage. (Note to reader: do not buy Fetch Pet insurance for your pet. Very much not recommended.)

I’ve also had occasions where I ordered something from this website and they shipped it in a plastic bag with no padding/protection, so it arrived with its container shattered.

If you have a choice, I strongly recommend you buy from a different online pharmacy. Take it from someone who’s trapped here.

I have canceled my insurance

I was sent a reminder on Easter Sunday about automatic shipment. I didn’t see the email till Tuesday morning. The medication was $40 higher than my first shipment. When I tried to cancel they said it was already shipped out. This is the second thing that has happened to me with Fetch so I canceled their insurance. Don’t like how they treat me!

Worst Experience Ever

Worst Experience Ever! First off, we keep trying cancel fetch altogether; but by the time my husband is off work, so are they. I can't cancel the policy, but I can do everything else in the account!! We used fetch for our dogs prescribed medication from his vet because we were advertised it was 100% free-reimbursed. First month went off without a hitch, ok great! Next month, with his refill, they charge us double what the first month refill automatically offer is, but what happened to it being reimbursed?! Why is it no longer covered? No answers. It is not for a pre-existing condition, it is not a new pre-scription, not a new dose, it makes no sense. Any time I call in they knock off a little of my monthly bill, or resubmit my claims. I am over it. Been doing this now for 3 months! Don't use fetch for anything! We only used them because the rescue we got our pup from helped us sign up for insurance and it happened to be them, do your research first!

Date change for auto ship

Per my pet's vet I needed to double up on her Rx, leaving me with less daily dosages. I was not able to back track the new online order so I called the 800 provided in your Fetch Rx emails. I was greeted in a courteous and polite manner, and helped to insure I would receive my pup's Rx sooner than already scheduled.

No prescriptions and no refund received. 


I ordered from FetchRx in mid December and mailed in my scripts. After a month, they had still not received my scripts. I called to have the order cancelled and funds refunded. After several phone calls on each being told I’d have the funds in 3-5 business days, I STILL have no received a refund. Is this any way to run a business?

Since the order was canceled before it was fully processed, the charge was not completed and was voided rather than refunded. That means you won’t see a separate refund posted, and the pending authorization should simply fall off your account. Do not recommend for anything remotely urgent.

My order was sitting for 6 days after prescription approval "Pending Fulfillment". Apparently one of the items was backordered, which blocked the entire shipment. Most companies would ship the available items automatically.

Reply to their reply below:
The order did arrive, just late. There is nothing for you to do now unless you have a time machine.

Instead I had to contact customer service, who have escalated it to their manager, and might take an additional 2 days for them to remove whatever the blocking item is, plus probably at least 1 additional day to fulfill after that before actually shipping.

Fetch Pet RX Horrible to Deal with

I found dealing with Fetch Pet RX horrible. You have to call them after your prescription ships to obtain an invoice so you can file with insurance. With today's technology you would think an invoice is attached to the order. I was getting Vetsulin for my diabetic dog which was supposed to be shipped next day air (according to their website) and even though the website as of today states it will be shipped next day air it seems there was a policy change. I received prescription medicine (Vetoryl) shipped in a US Mail bubble envelope with the boxes smashed inside the envelope and one of the blister packs out of the box. They are difficult to deal with and require way more actual phone calls than it should to accomplish anything. They are not the lowest price and often have hidden charges. When you call customer service it is nothing more than excuse after excuse. 11/20 I called about the Vetsulin not coming next day air and was told the website had not been updated. Well as of today it still states vaccines and temperature controlled medicine ships next day air. i would never use Fetch Pet RX again. They lost a customer that spent over $400 a month on prescriptions for my dog with Cushings and Diabetes. My only recommendation for FetchPet RX is to avoid at all cost.

False Advertisement

Their website shows that they are "Lowest Price Guarantee". I check their Simparica Trio price for a dog 22-44lb. It was $205 for six months supply. I am buying it at Pet Bucket for $93. So, I chatted with their rep if they would honor the lowest price. The rep said no, they will not. The reasoning was that they only honor normal prices, not discounted. Makes no sense to me, and it is false advertising. I have a transcript of the conversation, but I cannot post here a link from google drive.
