Web site none existent

Ordered a substantial amount of wine in March 2025. Never arrived, tried contacting them numerous times. I did get a reply once, they stated that I could request a refund, gave the relevant details but despite a promise that the money would be in my account within 48 hours, nothing came to pass. Absolutely shocking customer service and has also left me out of pocket.

The wine never arrived. Have tried to contact them to no avail. No refund received or communicatiohn. Ordered in May 2025, now October! Assume they have gone into liquidation.

Just another customer paid for wine, which was not delivered. Spoke to James, who promised to refund the money, but months later still no refund. Suspect those who put a positive review about extra wine as compensation are in on the scam.
Thank goodness the website is out of action, but I see that he has just started up another company The Winerack Ltd. Buyer beware

Appalling Customer Service-No wine received
I ordered wine in January, not received it nor any response to numerous emails, phone calls and wats apps. I would go somewhere else, no wine, no answers, not good enough

Like many others on this site I ordered in good faith and 3 months later have not received any wine. A terrible experience only wish I had checked the reviews before ordering

Such a shame…I ordered from this company last year (May), order fulfilled, no problem. Thought I’d do the same this year….bad move! Didn’t think to look on Trust Pilot as no issue previously.
Suffice to say….money taken, no delivery, no response to emails, or messages via website and the answerphone was full so couldn’t leave a message.
Glad I paid with my credit card as I raised a dispute with the credit card company…money refunded.
Moral of the story…don’t order from Findlays Wine on any account.
Lesson learnt….use Trust Pilot!

Appalling experience. Kicking myself that I did not see these reviews before ordering. As per everyone else, ordered a case of wine, did not arrive, refused a refund. Sarcastic response to my email! Told to contact my bank. Raised a dispute. Clearly something seriously wrong with this company. Avoid at all costs.

Under no circumstances order from this company. My experience similar to all the other reviews. I have reported to Action Fraud and Trading Standards.

I wish I had come over to trustpilot and looked up this company before placing my order. Like everybody else, I placed my order four weeks ago. delivery date has been and gone, had absolutely no contact from them even though I have emailed, messaged and called. Will be doing a charge back request. But what a shame and what a hassle.

UPDATE 18 June 2025. : I finally received an email from the company advising that they were not able to fulfil and would provide a refund. Surprise surprise, no refund has been received. Have escalated to American Express. Buyer beware!!!!!!

Very Odd

I ordered and paid for 18 bottles of wine which to date, I've not received. I've phoned numerous times only to be greeted by an answer machine and left messages on two occasions. Additionally, I've sent two emails and three messages via the website. No response from any of the communications. It would also be advisable to avoid The Wine Rack (thewinerack.co.uk) as this was also set up by James Finlay on 20th March 2025 with the same registered address as Finlay Wines.

Like everyone else I ordered a bottle of rum,marked as out for delivery and didn't arrive. Eventually got through on the phone after getting no response from emails or WhatsApp. My brother in law happens to be an ex marine living in Exmouth, he offered to go pick up in person. Surprisingly James was very nice,problem was the supplier had sent a consignment of 10yr old instead of 7yr old,,two days later a bottle of 10yr old turned up at no extra charge.did I believe the story,no not a chance,but happy to get a result. I can rent my brother in law out for a small fee 😀

Like most other reviews, ordered £95 worth of wine at the end of January but so far no sign of it.
Did speak to someone in late Feb who said that due to a "supplier change" there was a delay but yeah/Nah don't believe that bull$h1t anymore.
Can't get through on the phone either

I ordered this wine in February. It has said shipped since then. I have never received this item and never received a refund. Called, 2x, said I will receive a refund and never did.

Scam. The company under investigation and Trading Standards involved. The website should not trade but unfortunately still operating.
You will never see your orders!!!

My order has been paid for but not delivered and it is impossible to make contact via telephone as noone answers

Don’t touch this company with a barge pole I wish I’d checked out trust pilot before I ordered 12 bottles of Prosecco on the 12th April due to be delivered a few days later but nothing - 8 emails 6 messages three phone calls speaking to James perhaps the owner who is full of BS given up and reported to my CC company. They are either scammers or so unprofessional can’t understand why they have a business at all, if it was t so far from me I’d have paid a personal visit and extracted the wine myself
