I don't often take the trouble to review an online store, but my excellent experience with fireplace Fireplace Megastore has prompted me to doing this one. The item we wanted was a Dimplex electric fire and Fireplace Megastore had a very good price. Unfortunately the first one we received was slightly damaged in transit but the company did not quibble about replacing it, provided an easy means to return it and replaced it very quickly with a new one which arrived safely. So, in summary, excellent product, excellent price and excellent customer service, thank-you.

I would highly recommend Fireplace Megastore if your looking for a high quality fire at the right price with excellent service delivery. Price point was on point!!! Cheapest place when compared to all leading competitors for the gas fire I purchased. Easy transaction and swift delivery followed. Communications with their customer service department prior to and after purchase was highly professional and efficient. So what are you waiting for if your looking for a fire turn on the gas and try Fireplace Megastore you won't be disappointed. The perfect choice to keep you cosy in the winter at Fireplace Megastore.

Overall, a satisfactory customer experience, short of 5* only because we had to put an additional effort to have Fireplace Megastore customer service to accept our complaint. Initially, the Company was insulating itself from responsibility by hiding behind the fine print. It took us 3 rounds of e-mailing to prove that, actually, manufacturer's manual did not provide all the necessary information.

good price. that's the starting point. website was comprehensive on the product. delivery was straightforward and the fire was well and truly packaged on its own wooden pallet! did as advised by the company, ie signed for as 'damaged' because there wasn't the time to get it into the house and unwrap and inspect. (courier would have been there too long.) installed and inspected next day and it's stunning. just the 'statement' that i was looking for. so emailed megastore to say everything received in good order .

Fire arrived quickly, well within the time slot advised. In perfect condition and at a good price. What more is there to say other than I would recommend this store to anyone.

We bought a gas fire and it was by far the cheapest place we could obtain it. The fire was delivered in perfect condition within a few days. I cannot fault the experience we had with Fireplace Megastore and would certainly recommend them.

I purchased a Verine Alpena Gas fire. Delivered within two days. The fire is simply fab; very well made and super efficient. A scratch mark on the fire surround base was noticed at the time of fitting. It was clearly a manufacturing fault, only slight, but annoying.
Fireplace Megastore and the manufacturers were amazing. A complete replacement surround was dispatched and received within a couple of days.
I can highly recommend both Fireplace Megastore and Verine gas fires.

Beware of this company they are also called fireworks on the internet . Fire ordered on the 5th march and delivered on the 14th . I returned it for a refund as per their terms and conditions and I still don't have my money back. There isn't any phone number you can speak to a person on, the only contact is via email which they hardly ever reply to. Luckily I bought it useing my credit card so they are persueing it for me.

Great service, fire arrived quicker than expected, superbly packaged and delivered to door. Would recommend.

First class company to deal with very helpful very very fast delivery

Said the time scale was five to seven working days! Ordered on the 1st of December still no delivery on the 16th of December. Told it was being delivered from the factory but could not give me the couriers name, then told it was coming from their warehouse but could not give me a tracking number. I was then told that couriers deliver up until six pm!

The most disgusting part of this elaborate story by these people is that the fire would be delivered on either the 14th-15th and a person stayed in for two days waiting. I challenged this person on the phone and was told to stop ringing if I was unhappy.

Please find a company that you can visit not an internet based company as these people are giving honest traders a bad name.

Fire is the focal point of our room, extremely realistic and has created a cosy homely feel 10/10 for quality and service

Lets start with the positives: Got a great product at a great price, the salesmen where great and we agreed a price I matched from another site. Delivery was great, on a pallet screwed in so no way to check it until fitting, very heavy and a two man job but my husband was home so that was ok. It was only after my fitters brought the fireplace into the house and fitted the hearth that I saw the cast iron insert did not have a damper. I had specifically ordered an insert with damper. You can't 'speak' to customer services with this company, they don't have phones (seriously) you can only correspond via email. Their response was that the company 'Gallery' had made a mistake and the insert I ordered did not come with a damper - even though it said so on my order. When I responded to say this was not good enough they offered me the £20 difference in price between the insert without the damper and the one with the damper. It went back and forwards a few times and all the while my fireplace is being fitted, the tiles had been cemented in so to send it back would have been a nightmare, 4 weeks before xmas. So my advise to myself in future would be to pay extra and go to a shop, they have faces and telephones to communicate with. This is an internet company that orders direct from the manufacturer - when it goes wrong they blame the manufacturer and offer no assistance to rectify the problem. Lesson learnt.

First class service. Ordered on Tuesday night at 18.04 and delivered first thing on Friday morning.

Placed an order with the Fireplace Megastore over a week ago for a Flavel stove, still no delivery, just keep getting fobbed off with "the courier has the order".
I've emailed them twice and called once, getting no where fast, they state 72 hour delivery on the website which is obviously not the case.
If you want your order within a week I would not recommend them.

We purchased a "Hang on the Wall Electric Fire" from Fireplace Megastore on the 20/8/16 after much searching of outlets and the web.
We found at last exactly the size, style and colour on FPMS's site.
And within our budget.
The service we have received from them has been exceedingly good.
We were kept informed at every point of the purchase and delivery.
The Fire has arrived and is everything we could hope for.
If you are looking for a new fire do not buy until you check out their web site.

Our fire arrived promptly and in perfect condition. Now it is installed it looks fantastic, roll on winter!
We had a minor query which was dealt with within the hour, first rate service.
We would definitely use this company again.

apart from the best price I could find on the web,delivery direct from manufacturer was spot on and e mails answered promptly.
