Vlad did an amazing job, our floors were in a terrible state: broken floorboards, big gaps, covered in glue and cement. He removed everything that was in the way like glues, cement and nails, sanded all down and replaced any boards that couldn't be restored. Worked tirelessly for four days and the results are exceptional. Prices are also competitive and I couldn't recommend them more!

Communication with Nick was very easy and straightforward, he was helpful in all aspects of arranging the job for us, with a very fair quote and the dates we wanted.

We had our floor sanded and varnished in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. We live in an old school building, the original floor boards are over 100 years old. The job was done very professionally, with attention to details and always friendly and helpful.

We have just had our horrible yellow pine floorboards stripped and stained in a dark finish by the team at First Class Flooring. The service and finish was excellent. From meeting Casio who came to quote the job, to Vlad who worked wonders with the old yellow dry boards. We now have very smooth boards with a lovely stain. Vlad was great and was always polite and we are delighted with the finish.

I used the guys at First Class Floor Sanding
this week to sand a through lounge which was half carpeted with dark floorboards underneath, with the other half stained with a yellow pine. My initial interactions were with Nick, who was very quick in reverting back to me and getting a detailed quote together, despite our very last minute call. I also appreciated their honesty in recommending the cheaper resin gap filler rather than more expensive wood fillers in terms of how the end result would look.

It was a three day job, with minimal mess left by Stan and Nick. We're very happy with the finished result - they weren't necessarily the cheapest, but they did a good job.

FCFS worked on our 5 bedroom, 3 story house. Work was carefully completed to a very high standard. All floors sanded, stained & varnished. The guys were happy to come back & fix up any minor snaggings according to our instructions. They moved furniture for us & we were able to live in the house whilst the work was being done. First Class Floor Sanding were extremely responsive when we enquired about the service and provided us with a good quote and were available to start the work the following week.
Nick the technician did an excellent job of 3 floors over a 2 day period. The finish was excellent and he tidied everything away afterwards leaving no mess. He was on time both days and extremely professional. We also met Stan the owner who was also very helpful & professional.
We would use this company again for further sanding & lacquering. We would recommend them to other customers.

Nick and his team are the best in the business! I went with them out of all my quotes because his communication was very good, and I'm so pleased that I decided to. Alisson (who worked on my place) was a total pro, very good at talking me through options, and very collaborative when I was choosing wood stains. Even though we discovered some issues with the boards when carpets were removed, the guys found a solution that would still fit my budget. And the end results are stunning – it's totally transformed the house. I would highly recommend!!
