outrageously bad service, not giving back money when you deny the shipment because of import charges. with those i would pay €60 for a freaking card game.

There's a lack of transparency and hidden clauses. Canada Post is charging us $25 in import fees to receive the package, even though we've already paid the shipping company. When we contacted the company, they said it was our responsibility.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience ordering from Freak or Drink.
I placed my order before the advertised “last day to order to receive by Valentine’s Day” specifically to ensure it would arrive on time. Shortly after purchasing, I received a tracking number, however, it has never updated past “label created.”
After hearing nothing, I emailed their customer service and it took five days to receive a response. They told me the parcel had left their warehouse. Concerned, I contacted the shipping company directly, and they confirmed they have not received the item.
They have now said they’ve opened an investigation into the missing parcel, but given the lack of updates and conflicting information so far, I don’t have much confidence that this will be resolved quickly, if at all.
At this point, it’s clear I will not be receiving my order in time for Valentine’s Day, despite ordering within the timeframe they promoted. I understand delays can happen, but misleading shipping timelines and poor communication ,especially for time-sensitive purchases, are incredibly frustrating.
Very disappointing experience overall. I will change this reveiw if a miracle happens..

I ordered The Naughtiest Drinking Games for around €30, expecting a fun party game. Unfortunately, I haven’t even received the product yet — and I’m already extremely disappointed.

To my surprise, I was informed that I have to pay €17.35 in customs/clearance fees to ship this product to the Netherlands. That’s more than half the price of the game itself. This was not clearly communicated upfront during the purchase.

To make matters worse, the return policy is also not communicated honestly or transparently. If you decide not to accept the package, you will still be charged additional fees. This feels extremely unfair and misleading, especially when the extra costs only become clear after your order is already on its way.

Paying nearly €50 in total for a simple drinking game is absolutely ridiculous. I can’t comment on the quality of the product yet, but based on this experience alone, I strongly recommend that anyone in the EU think twice before ordering.

In short: read very carefully what you are buying. This product is definitely not worth the money, and the lack of clear communication makes the whole experience frustrating and disappointing.

UPDPATED. Turns out not a scam company. Did eventually get resolved after this review and filing charge back with the bank. Turns out my original parcel got lost and all my emails went to spam. Product revieved and refunded. Still 1 star as its taken 2 months to resolve. But they are at least not a scam.

This was a week ago and still nothing. Since then I have tried to contact several more times and have requested my order be cancelled and they will not reply to any contact. "

Order total was €46.95 including €0.00 taxes. Upon delivery to Germany, €16.42 import fees were charged. These costs were not clearly disclosed during checkout. Product is fine, but buyers should be aware of this.

Moderner Scam. Werben mit freier Lieferung, verschweigen aber mit dem Standort Niederlande, dass ihr Sitz in UK ist. Auf die Bestellung fallen also nochmal etwa 30 Euro Einfuhrgebühren an. Rückversand macht dadurch natürlich keinen Sinn mehr, da man diese ebenfalls selbst tragen muss. Der Händler weiß das und führt den Kunden hier bewusst in die Irre.

Ordered several things from them and paid $26 dollars shipping which is outrageous and then took just as long as their slow shipping and when I got my order they just threw it in a bag and stuck a shipping label on it… didnt even put a receipt in with it. To add to that I didnt even get everything I ordered and i said well Id like to get what I ordered and you could atleast refund my shipping cost since it took longer and I didnt even get everything and they told me they would not refund me… I wouldnt even bother with this company. Company os not worried about customer satisfaction and quality. This has turned out to be a huge pain having to email back and forth every day for a week and still havent done anything.

After reading the reviews on the delivery and people saying it's a scam I can confirm that it is not a scam and I have received my items within a week no issues at all ..can't wait try the games out 😁

Do not order! Seller is intentionally vague over shipping times and import duties.

Ordered the product as a gift in early feb, unfortunately it took over 2 weeks to ship and was too late for the birthday. After the package got sent back they quoted me a 50% restocking fee. Never had such a bad online shopping experience.

They shipped my package to the Netherlands, but unfortunately, it got lost along the way. I reached out to their team for advice, and these incredibly kind and downright amazing people didn’t just offer help—they sent me a brand-new order! It arrived safely this time, and I couldn’t be happier.

Absolutely fantastic! They take the pressure off, keep everything going smoothly, and make for an awesome experience.

Ordered for €36. Received a message from the local carrier (PostNL) requesting an additional €15 in customs fees.

If you don’t accept the package or want to return it, you'll still be charged for the return shipping - so keep in mind: it’s not €36, but €51.

The customer service was outstanding. The helped me track my package to it's final destination that to post office misplaced.

Ordered this game in beginning of February, quoted 8 days max for delivery. Sitting mid March and still hasn’t arrived. I have asked for a refund multiple times as it’s been “in transit” for a month at this point.

They told me they couldn’t refund me. Told me if there was no shipping update by March 8, they would send another shipment. Just got a reply today that they shipped my new shipment and sent a tracking number.

It’s the same tracking number from my initial shipment. This place is a SCAM.

Ordered on the 11th of February, still never have seen my order. No effort whatsoever to reach out or help me as a client. Terrible service.

Ordered for 35 euro's on 29 January. There was valentines promotion but I only got a message from PostNL on 15 February with the question if I want to pay 15 euro taxes. I understand that I could've known this but why don't you tell it before people order? It's way overpriced and too late so I send it back and now I get an email that I can get a refund for 13 euro's. It's a shame, wouldn't recommend ordering here.

Ordered and there was an issue with the delivery of my package. I contacted customer support they were quick to respond. After explaining the situation they are re-sending the order. Things happen. I am happy to say this is a company that does right by its customers.
