Hi Paddy,

We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify how our claims process works. Our goal is always to provide fair and transparent reimbursement in line with the terms of each policy.

It does appear however that your review was left prior to full payment being reimbursed to yourself and to the clinic.

After reviewing your policy, we can see that initially, we processed your claim based on standard billing agreements with our partners. However, once it was confirmed that the physiotherapy clinic was not contractually bound by our billing partner, we reimbursed the full claim amount in accordance with our policy terms.

We strive to ensure that all valid claims are handled fairly and efficiently, and we are glad that your claim was ultimately covered in full. If you have any further questions or require additional clarification, our team is always available to assist.

Regarding your specific situation, we fully understand that insurance is there to be utilised when needed, and that is what it’s designed for. We are committed to honouring valid claims and supporting our customers in their times of need. However, as part of our efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability of our policies, we occasionally have to make difficult decisions regarding renewals., particularly in cases where claim activity is significantly beyond the expected range of usage for the policy.

Please be assured that these decisions are never made lightly, but we must endeavour to balance the interests of all our policyholders and maintain affordability for the wider client base.

We understand your concerns about not being contacted by Rob and sincerely apologise for any confusion this may have caused. As per your request to no longer be contacted, we refrained from following up. However, we are more than happy to discuss your concerns further and clarify any misunderstandings.
