Online Order Never ArrivedâŠ
I got my shipment notification from GAP on 9/9/21. They currently work with Hermes for delivery. Today is 29/9/21 and I am still waiting for my parcel. I wrote to GAP customer service and they told me they will refund the money but I want my items rather than a refund. When I track my items on Hermes' website it says 'on its way'. That means GAP gave the parcel to Hermes and somehow it went missing. I tried to reach Hermes but it is impossible to contact them as their lines are so busy. In Ireland GAP works with FASTWAY so I rang them, and they also don't answer. GAP has to call the delivery companies to ask about the missing package, not me actually. ------My order was for my husband's and my father's birthday gifts. I am really disappointed with GAP as they know very well that this delivery system doesn't work for Ireland but they are not doing anything to change it. That is clear from all the bad reviews here.

Ich habe Ware im Juli zurÌck geschickt und bis heute keine Gutschrift erhalten! Habe mehrmals mit dem Kundendienst telefoniert, was Ìbrigens nur auf Englisch möglich ist. Die Mitarbeiter am Telefon meinten stets, dass ich noch etwas Geduld haben muss⊠lÀcherlich! Habe mein Geld jetzt abgeschrieben und werde nie wieder dort bestellen!
It is not working
I ordered a jumpsuit. After two weks they sent me the wrong item. I never saw my money again after returning it. I love Gap, but goodbye Gap Europe.

I have never had a positive experience with Gap online. Either the orders go missing in the post or I continuously have to chase refunds. With stores now closed the online service needs to significantly improve. There are a large number of similar retailers providing a much sleeker online offering.

Horrendous shipping & returns
I love Gap for my kids and clothes are great, but shipping and especially returns are just awful. They ship from the UK and since Brexit it takes forever. A couple of packages got lost during transition period, but lately they all came in âusualâ time frame (which is still slow). They donât have any expedited shipping options anymore, so I donât even bother ordering if I need clothes for a specific occasion.
Another thing are the returns. They provide âfree returnsâ using their own label you print at home. The label doesnât have any tracking information or even the return address. I posted the packages on different post offices and they always looked like they never saw this kind of label before (honestly, neither have I). Since the label is apparently not trackable, the post is unable to provide a receipt of postage. Unsurprisingly, the return packages NEVER arrive back to Gap. Consequently, they make you wait 3 weeks before they even respond. Then they ask for a proof of postage, which I donât have. Once they suggested I take a photo of myself at the post office when dropping off the package and thatâs exactly what Iâve been doing since. It usually takes a week of mailing before they then process the return. I wouldnât really call this a quick and easy return process..

VerkÀufer reagiert auf MÀngel am Produkt nur mit der Zitierung rechtlicher Details, statt mit seinen Kunden nach einer Lösung zu suchen und diese zufrieden zu stellen. Wer mit Argumenten wie Beweislastumkehr argumentiert gehört eher zur Kategorie "ServicewÌste". Auf solche HÀndler sollte man verzichten oder meiden, wenn man sich nicht Àrgern möchte.
4 months and still waiting on the refund
I have been trying to get a refund from Gap for over four months. Emails, photos, etc yet am still waiting for even a response from customer service. I realise they are going through a transition right now but this is really a terrible way of doing business.
Delivery times to Ireland improvement?
I have shopped with Gap for well over 20 years now and since having children have purchased so much from them as the quality and colour range are fantastic. I had 2 bad experiences with at end of last year and start of year, issues with refunds and then being stung for taxes as the items were coming from UK. Customer service sorted that out with was discount and refunded the amount I paid in taxes. Since then orders have gone more smoothly. The delivery times however have always been long which has always annoyed me until now? I placed 2 orders on 17th and 18th June fully expecting it to take the usual 3 plus weeks to arrive to Ireland however the full orders arrived together in 2 working days. I was shocked, this wasn't a small order by any means, it was â¬450+ and 30+ items and all items were correct. I really hope this isn't a once off as I was delighted they have improved their delivery times to Ireland.
Fall from grace!
I was a happy customer of Gaps for years. Great products, especially for my 3 boys. But no point in having a great product if you can't deliver it.

Follow up.... after failing to deliver my purchase (through incompetence), it has taken until today to initiate the process of my refund. Purchased made on May 3rd & today is August 4th... ridiculous!
Terrible Customer Service & Delivery Time
I have been an happy Gap online customer for years. Since Brexit, delivery times are absolutely awful and no information coming from the customer service. We are on May 27th, and I ordered on May 3rd, I have still no idea about when items will be delivered. Too bad, this was for a birthday! They have just lost a very loyal customer.
Where is my refund?
They returned my order after one delivery attempt, even when a person in their customer service told me they would try two more attempts. After one week waiting, called customer service again and they told me they returned my order without the two extra attempts. No notifications from thei behalf. They haven't refund the money. They gave me a promo code and didn't work either. Everything wrong with gap.eu

If there was an option of zero stars I would give zero. I have shopped at the gap for over 20 years. And the service has continued to deteriorate to the point where it makes no sense to order from them. They take forever to return your money, wonât allow u to generate a return label until weeks have passed etc. They blame it on tech problems but I suspect itâs cash flow related - they really hold on to your money as long as possible. No wonder they have to offer weekly discounts of 40% off to encourage people to shop there. Unbelievable

Ein Stern ist noch zu viel. Ich habe im Februar etwas bestellt und wollte einen Teil retournieren. Gap macht groà Werbung auf der Homepage mit gratis RÌcksendung. Es hat drei Wochen und mehrere E-Mails (in englisch, denn eine deutsche Hotline gibt es nicht) gebraucht, damit ich ein Retourenlabel erhalten habe. Das waren angeblich IT-Probleme. Tja, am 12.3. habe ich die Ware zurÌckgeschickt und bis heute habe ich keinen Pieps von Gap gehörten warte auf mein Geld. Ich kann nur jedem abraten, hier etwas zu bestellen! Das grenzt fÌr mich schon an Betrug.
False free return, consider it!
I am (now was) an affectionate customer of Gap from Italy. I placed an order at the beginning of January 2021 and it clearly stated FREE RETURN. Only 5 items out of many didn't fit so I asked for a free return label. The customer service people kept on asking to hold the package until Brexit shipping issues are solved. I have been in contact with them for the last two months and the problems are not solved yet. If I want to get rid of the big box I should pay an expensive return while they stated free return! This is false!
I am very disappointed with the online shopping at GAP.eu :(
