My husband and I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator from the Doylestown store on September 18, 2020. Our salesperson was Rachael Prince. Rachael was very helpful and knowledgeable and made the entire process very easy. We received our delivery today and the delivery people where very personable and had everything set a ready in 20 minutes. We are very pleased with the service received from ease of purchase to delivery. I would highly recommend Gerhard's to any one in need of an appliance.

After purchasing a refrigerator,a dishwasher, a gas grill and more recently a washer and dryer from Gerhards, I’ve had it with their horrible customer service which borders on the unscrupulous if not downright dishonest. I paid for installation along with my purchase of the washer and dryer. The surly delivery man informed me that the power chord with the dryer was too short and that I would have to purchase and install this myself. He left my machines out in the kitchen. The $30 part was hard to obtain as Lowe’s, Home Depot and Ace did not carry it, but I did find one and installed it
Then the piping to drain the washing machine was too short to reach the drain pipe. When I called Gerhards, they told me to get a plumber. I then called the salesmen, Matthew Ashley, who sold me the machines. He was apologetic, and told me they’d refund the installation fee and the cost of the power chord and that he would come out with a repair man to fix everything. This was on a Friday and he said he’d call me on Monday to make arrangements which he didn’t. I called him and again he was apologetic and said he would take care of everything. Suffice it to say after more phone calls and emails, I’ve never received a refund nor assistance with my appliances. If you look at other online reviews you’ll see that mine is not an uncommon complaint. Lying and not standing by their products is hard to understand and unacceptable. I’d suggest you look elsewhere if you want a store that will deliver what they promise and who care about their customers.

Ian Chapin is the best. I’ve been working with Ian for the last several years. He has helped me with appliances for my rental properties and my home. Before during and after the sale customer service and follow up is excellent. Always a pleasure to work with. Thanks. Karl.

The salesman was friendly. He found what we needed, but neglected to tell us about extended warranty or rebate. We had to ask these questions on our own.

I am changing my review due to the fact that Ian as far as I am concerned should have taken care of a problem for me!

Not good public relations.

It is my sincerest pleasure to write this review regarding the above and beyond service I received from the Gerhard's Customer Service staff. Jessica and Ashley were absolutely incredible in trying to help me address quality issues with my washer. To set the stage, I recently celebrated the birth of my 2nd child when my Samsung washer, purchased from Gerhards stopped working after only 4 months. After 5 repeated attempts of a Samsung tech to address the issues and countless hours (20+) of being on hold with customer service, I reached out to Gerhard's for help. Jessica and Ashley used every trick in the book to successfully get my washer replaced so I didn't have to take my newborn son to a laundromat during a pandemic. They tirelessly worked to make this right. As a result, I have immense faith in the Gerhard's brand and how they not only stand behind their products but also their reputation for customer service. I will forever be a Gerhard's customer hence forth because of what their hard work and diligence.

Ian C. is a gem. Lowes had canceled our refrigerator order without notifying us. He understood from the start that I might cancel the order if Best Buy came through on their earlier delivery date, but checked the warehouse and tagged the available unit for me and he courteously canceled the order at Gerhard's when I told him Best Buy delivered. Great customer service! The next time we need an appliance, I'll check out Gerhard's first.

We purchased a GE front load washer and had it delivered and set up. I gave the delivery man a level to make sure it was balanced. He showed me that it was and left. Later, I found out that he leveled it with one on my wife's flip flops! He also tore a 1" hole in our linoleum floor getting it in. After many, many phone calls, someone finally ordered a leveling leg from GE and it was installed without any problems. To compensate me for the ruined flooring they gave me a 10-year warranty on the motor - no labor - just the motor. This is the second time I've had them put in a washer. There were problems with the first install as well. Yes, fool me once shame on them, fool me twice, shame on me. Never again.

Ian is an Ace! His customer service is second to none. I ask and he gets it done. He and your delivery drivers are professional and a dream to work with.

Terrible experience, I called and specifically asked for a impeller washer and gas dryer set. Paid in full and had to wait two weeks for them to deliver, the dryer did not work, I called and emailed several times only to be ignored. They also took my hard metal dryer vent and replaced it with a foul type, which the manual tells you specifically not to use as it may damage the dryer or cause a fire. Had to wait two more weeks for them to bring a replacement, the installation team was rude and nasty and brought a semi ridged vent, now the dryer sticks out in the middle of my laundry room so you can barely get through the back door, and they sent me another broken appliance, the feet are broken and bent all different directions making it so you cannot level it, guess what, when I called no one answered the phone, email with photos? Also went unanswered. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere

Did not receive my complete order. Was promised the missing item that same afternoon since on site tradesman needed the missing part to complete his work, two days later still waiting.

Terrible staff, made no attempt to correct their error, and will not make a special trip to correct same must wait until they are good and ready.

Ian was professional and knowledgeable. I love my new heavy duty washer! This is my second Gerhard’s purchase.

I had to search everywhere to find a window air conditioner. My wife reminded to consider Gerhard's and I'm so glad she did!
They had, in stock, exactly what we were looking for. The purchase experience began with the exceptional help and service of a gentleman, by the name of Lawrence, I spoke with on the phone. He went above and beyond to ensure they had the item I wanted and provided exceptional, courteous and professional service.
They have excellent systems in place that make the entire experience hassle free and expeditious. I placed by order over the phone and went to pick up the item. My in-store time was around 5 minutes, if that, and the clerks in the store were just as attentive and accommodating.
I don't know why I didn't think of them first... this is our second purchase for an appliance from Gerhard's and it definitely won't be the last.

We have now purchased a refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer and barbecue from Gerhard's. The quality of their appliances and service are superb! Ian was great; he was extremely helpful in guiding us to make the perfect selections for our needs. His honesty, integrity and knowledge have raised the bar for others to follow. He really went to bat for us and even came to our home and fixed a space issue when when the refrigerator and dishwasher didn't have enough clearance. Gerhard's communication was amazing; we were notified of delivery by telephone, email and text the day prior and also on the day of delivery when they were on the way. The installers were great; courteous and skilled. Ian is a real asset; we wouldn't make a selection without his advice and input! Highly recommend!!!

So far so good. Ian got me a great quote for two kitchens/laundry rooms despite having to work around the shortages and back orders related to Covid. Kudos for getting the job done so quickly.

I need a new refrigerator ASAP and the big chain stores delivery time frames are 6-10 weeks.... I can’t wait that long. I called Gerhards and spoke with Mike, who checked on the computer for what I described I wanted, which he was able to find for me. I went into the store to make the purchase and was back out the door within 15 minutes. Fast, friendly, honest service and the exact refrigerator that I wanted will be delivered in 2 weeks. So far I am very satisfied, hoping the delivery goes just as smoothly.

Ian made all the difference in our choosing to buy from Gerhard’s rather than a big box store. Knowledge, fast action, and a winning offer - what a great combo! We’ll come to Gerhard’s first from now on.
