Aqib and the team are real professionals from start to finish. They kept me informed, with market trends, viewings and updates and managed to sell my property really quickly.

Worst agent for lettings. As soon as tenants do not pay and cause damage, they want to keep taking their tenant find fee and do nothing in themselves to help with this matter, contrary to their legal obligations. You do not receive support.service when things go wrong, while still paying their fees. Danielle is often very unhelpful and refuses to assist, when she is available. Otherwise expect to fend for yourself as she provides no other contact/does not pass on your matter in her long absences. Nick, one of the directors, is no better, making excuses on her behalf and refusing to investigate the facts I provide. Use any other agent for lettings. Useless for landlords.

The sales team including Grant Pattersson is terrible in relation to communication with seller and buyer. Unprofessional and careless.
I will never go back again.

Very good advice from Rahul and Philip all the way through the selling process of my late mother-in-law's house. They provided a realistic valuation and quickly offered a list of potential buyers; we sold the house within a week. Through a protracted process to exchange, Rahul and Philip helped manage the process and were responsive in getting issues resolved. I'd highly recommend the Stanmore branch.

I chose Gibbs Gillespie to sell my parents home as they agreed and achieved a good price for the property, for this they get the one star rating.
Before the property went on the market, I had to organise the EPC, correct the floor plan, chase to get the list of clients for the open house and a photo of a bedroom was missing.
There was no continuity, three different Move Managers dealt with this sale, all of them were useless, they couldn’t even spell my name correctly. I always had to ring them for an update and ask them to chase the purchaser, the mortgage offer and his solicitor. I had to remind them to do their Move Managers work, in fact the last one said if I needed a job to contact her!!!.
Throughout the whole process I received no customer service and the communication was terrible, the only time Gibbs Gillespie contacted me, without me chasing them , was when they wanted their Invoice paying, which they then sent direct to my solicitor with no copy to me.
Please bear this review in mind when choosing an Estate Agent to Sell a house, Gibbs Gillespie will get you a good price but then you’re on your own.

The two people that I have dealt with from the Stanmore branch, ie Aqib Islam and Paula Chapman have been exceptionally professional in every way. They have worked tirelessly and diligently; completely focused on making sure that everything went smoothly on the sale of my property. Grant was essential in getting this process done. And effectively chased the solicitors of both sides and kept everyone informed. Gibbs seem a trustworthy and honest agency, which is something rare in my experience.

The purchase has gone really smoothly, aqib stepped in for grant at the vital point to get a deal done due to unforeseen circumstances. He portrayed him self deserving his new role. Overall it’s been a great experience and everyone including the sales team have been great.
