I was being mugged by a group of lads with knives. It went on for about a month so I called the police and they turn up 3 days later at midnight just to call me a liar.
Another time is when I was walking home and was attacked by 2 lads (didn’t do much damage at all) but I was on the phone with them while I was being attacked and they told me to wait outside Morrisons covered in blood and and in shock. A few friendly shoppers helped me and bought me a bottle of water. 30 mins later a copper turns up with no sirens on. They drive me home and take a statement and said “we will be back in touch with you very soon” it’s been about a year now and they’ve not yet got back to me.

Complete Shambles, Sent a Court Summons to an Address that wasn’t mine. Arrested at the Airport boarding a flight for a breach that I knew nothing about. Breach of GDPR, False Imprisonment. The Solicitor’s letter is on its way. Useless.

Girlfriends phone was stolen and they do absolutely nothing about it. Very disappointed and disgusted

Total total waste of tax payers money. They don’t help, they’re rude, arrogant horrible people. A member of the public stopped to ask if i was ok the police (PC Alex in Sale) was giving me such a hard time and I’m the one who called the police! As a 45 year old professional women I can promise you that I won’t ring these bottom feeders again. I’ll just sort it out myself. I’ve asked Andy Burnham a number of times why I’ve got to contribute to this shower if excrement and he’s never given me an adequate answer. They all need sacking

I have rung the central switchboard numerous times today to be put through to a department.
To date,no reply from switchboard staff.
Fed up of trying!

Why do GMP even exist? ... Really?... What are they actually doing? Crime is soaring and we see them less and less, theyll turn up 3 days later just to tell you they cant do anything.... Like what do you actually do bro? Tired of even trying, in my 4 decades of existence ive never had a positive outcome with them, just snarky remarks and a complete lack of empathy, people ask "well it would be anarchy without them" those people dont live on council estates where it IS anarchy and the police never come.

I asked GMP for a reference number for my insurance company for a lost item of jewellery at the beginning of December. They refused and directed me to reportmyloss where I had to pay £5.95. Devon and Cornwall plus Dorset Police pay this fee. I complained to GMP at the time and finally received a letter confirming their lack of interest today. I'm not impressed with GMP but as someone said to me, if they're not bothered about Rapes and Murders they're not going to be interested in lost or stolen property. Would have given them less than one star if I could.

Police helping my partner hide my child wont let me see my child and no helping

Very very very bad police, i reported 2 people breaking into my home since 11.30am today and till now no one has been here or even called to ask, when i told them already that my kids and wife are scared and they might come back and threatened to kill me if contact police, still no response or anything or any support from them. I guess this is what we pay for. Or because of race colour?!.

Having dealings with GMP on a few occasions I find them arrogant, inept, shady and secretive when it suits them without giving you the victim an explanation. And we rely on these lot to uphold the law. They're bent and unco-operatve, and just to think a proportion of our council tax go into funding PC Plods circus, total craziness.
That's a good one, if anyone has any information contact GMP. Errr sorry but NO CHANCE...and just because you wear a uniform doesn't make you lot a superior being to me or any other self respecting individual, it makes you annoying. No wonder the self respecting public don't want to bother in co-operating where you're concerned, I for one am in that club!

I know the police get a hard time but they helped me out recently with a break in and they were really supportive. Made a huge difference to how secure I felt back in my house.

These people are bullies and are not welcome by the community, the community live in fear as these tyrants roam the streets. The sooner gmp start to train people in a way with self confidence and strenght the better All the cops are weak scared paranoid cowards who will jump on you with 16 friends. If a cop was a strong man he could simple make a honest arrest with no need to tazer and kick people while lying on the ground. I have witnessed so much police corruption I will never talk to a cop in my life again, I hope a cop reads this and leaves his job or someone can be saved from ever joining their tyrany

Shocking! I wouldn’t even bother ringing them. You’ll be lucky if you can get through even on a 999 call, if you manage to get that far you will most likely never speak to an officer or even have them show the tiniest bit of interest. However, if you’re a single mum and your being harassed by your neighbour then they will side with him and ignore you. Even when the neighbour is found to be wasting police time, they’ll still condescend and treat you like a massive idiot and let the bullying carry on. A bunch of sexist, racist, misogynist, ignorant time wasting people who have some sort of ego issue. But, if youre really desperate to be patronised and do require one, head to sale water park each morning between 9.30 and 1, there’s loads of them having breakfast at the buttie van on the way in, don’t you try and get breakfast there though, you could hear a pin drop when you dare to get food 😂😂😂. Pathetic bunch of time wasters that the public get to fund and pay for all their final salary pensions. Honestly it’s a joke

They are hard to describe other than it is no wonder they are under "special measures!"

I actually emailed him and congratulated him on being the new broom, unfortunately that was a little premature.
He gives all his staff an email address so they can tell you what they haven't done but when you reply they can't be bothered to read them.

Try emailing him and tell him about what your experience has been with GMP, but don't hold your breath waiting for a reply because it will never come.
The really daft thing this fellow doesn't read his own emails either so he can hardly admonish anyone for their failings when he is just as guilty.

Always guarantees that your underlings will exactly the opposite.
So the people of Greater Manchester will be paying another time server for a few years before anybody notices that things haven't improved then he will be out the door with a big fat pension and some other useless plod will take his place on the gravy train.
Maybe as another writer said praying to GOD might elicit more response and maybe it will.

Hang on I've just had a thought thought...... Why are we bothering to make a complaint here?
GMP are hardly likely to read anything that has TRUST in the title.
Even if you complain on their "OFFICIAL" form they will interpret whatever you say to your detriment especially if it criticises one of their own.
So let's get back to praying.......

GMP. It's hard to know where to start, because things are so dire. Drug dealing on every street corner. Vehicle registrations supplied to GMP... Nothing. No action whatsoever!.. Crime after crime goes uninvestigated. You may get a crime number.. wow! That sure makes Greater Manchester feel safer now!... Calling 101 is a waste of time, because nobody ever answers...

The lights are on, but nobody is home. Useless is an understatement. May aswelll pray to God if you are the victim of a crime.
Follow the money, or lack of. Austerity, cuts in funding. This is the result..
