Bad policies for cancellations even with over 48 hours before tee time

Charged me $209 for a tee time then, the course said they didn’t show it, charged me another 294.00, reported it to golf now. That wasn’t easy because they don’t work weekends or afternoons 5 weeks later and golf now just said they are keeping my money, because I didn’t cancel. No I tried to use it. Reading reviews I now realized golf now is “now” a scam! Buyer’s beware. Not the golf now it once was!

Golfnow gift card is a scam. It’s only good for hot deals. Using it for regular tee time (not hot deals, or their prepaid tee time) on a golf course only allows you to pay their convenience fee of $3.00. The gift card is pretty much restricted because you cannot use the whole amount if booking regular tee times. The bad thing about it, the rate is the same when calling the course directly(actually saves you the $3 convenience fee that they charged when booking through them)

I used GolfNow to grab a discounted tee time at a course near me and it took about two minutes. The confirmation came through right away and the rate was way better than what the course quoted me. Only thing is the fees add a little at checkout so the total was slightly higher than I expected.

Profit on technicalities. I just joined a country club, and I made a mistake booking on GolfNow instead of the club's app. I immediately canceled. They said I couldn't get a refund, and now I have a credit with GolfNow. I won't be renewing.

Only there was some bare spot on tee boxes.

It was so easy to go online and book a golf reservation for our last minute trip to Vegas. Due to a last minute change I was able to cancel one reservation and reschedule at another course closer to our resort with ease.

If you have golfpass membership easy to book and cancellation/ refund an hour before you tee off.

Booked a golf course in the Dominican Republic on the courses website through golf now. Got an email the next day saying they canceled my tee time because they cancel every tee time that comes through golf now. When I got refunded I didn’t get the full amount because I’m Canadian and they didn’t match the conversion rate even when I showed them bank statements. Terrible customer service and terrible
decision to associate with a course that doesn’t actually use your services. Do not recommend

Premium member here...for the last 3 months.....EVERY tee time I attempt to book--- various days,various hours, various deals, various courses etc result in the infamous message that " TEE TIME IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE...." trying to talk to CS is like talking to a bagful of doorknobs... they either are numb to this issue or have the memory of a mayfly... and please dont try to placate me with trying to resolve this through golfnow support chat option... It is nowhere to be found on my laptop, home computer, phone.. even with using different systems as well... ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE ( at least some garbage is recyclable.. GN and teeoff are purely rabid rat droppings……

UPDATE… talked to CS… IQ of a houseplant… told me that my issue is because Im trying to book HOT DEALS tee times… and if i book regular tee tines there shouldnt be any issue… i then asked then why do I need GN?? I coulld just call/ go online with the course directly and not be subject to GNs inconvenience fees… einsteins response was ( and i quote)… “I dont have an answer for that question”

Absolutely horrible customer service. Most of the time you can’t even connect to a rep when you call their cs line. And all the reps are so bad at their job, and they make getting a simple refund extremely hard and stressful

I wish , I could give them -5 stars. They have two different policy with GN and Tee Off but same customer service. They try to interchnge the policy in order not to give you a refund. I use Golf Now and there policy is you 24hr to cancel. I cancel within the 24 hr. In stead of refunding me my money they put it in a pro. Code with (red tape) that you have jump hoops to use the promo.1. It has to be Monday - Thursday. Most people work those hours 2. You have six months to use it. 3. They are trying to find ways to keep your money. I spoke to someone from another country they i could not understand and he hung up the phone. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE APP.

Cancelled a golf tee time due to weather conditions. Was expecting to receive my refund based on GN policy. Email was sent to me the day before my cancellation stating the credited my account. They must have ESP! To date I have not received my credit on my cc.

Tried working with their customer service department which was a complete joke. Company is a piece of shit and will never use them again. I would not recommend anyone to use their site.

They took my credit card and charged me for a friend who got sick and didn't show up. What are we? California? The course was Apache Creek in AZ. Last time I book there as well. Update... got a reply from GolfNow asking me to go chat with them so they can explain the charges. Explain what? That my money is gone and I didn't receive anything for it?

I paid more booking with you guys than I would pay at the course

Was trying to use raincheck at a golf course that only booked through golf now. Was told on site that I had to pay a $7.00 fee the the rest at course. (Which was fine cause my friends and I were all using our rain checks) anyway golfnow took their fee and the money for all rounds of golf. I immediately canceled and requested a refund. They credited my golf now account which I just created for this tee time and will never use again. I called golf now to ask them te refund my card. The representative was extremely rude and not helpful. Going to dispute charge with my bank.

I wish I would’ve read reviews before using the site to book a tee time. There are multiple BBB complaints and multiple other complaints that are all valid. I accidentally booked a tee time at a par three course not knowing any different. I also didn’t understand their “hot deal“ prices. When I called to cancel they said I should’ve read a cancellation policy. They were kind enough to give me a credit on the golf now.com website. As we talked through that, I found out that I’m only allowed to use that credit towards other hot deals at courses, which obviously have specific tee times when nobody wants a tee time at that time during the day. I’m not allowed to use that credit to book a normal tee time. I highly recommend calling the course and booking through the clubhouse. I told them I would never use their site to book another teatime again, and I hope this review helps you understand why it’s in your best interest, to either use a different site, or call the course directly. The other thing they told me was, I was on the golf course website and booked online, and they use golfnow.com as their booking partner. I will only make reservations by phone with the courses moving forward if this is how they’re going to treat customers. Please call the course and do not use this website to book any teatime. I hope this prevents at least one of you from dealing with what I’ve been dealing with trying to cancel a tee time and get a refund. Lesson learned!

I tried to book a four-ball through GolfNow, but while payment was processing, the tea time was taken by someone else. So my booking wasn't confirmed but money still left my account. I called customer service to sort it, but the call was disconnected twice. I asked for a call back, but got no response. All I wanted was an alternative tee time and a solution, but instead I've experienced extremely poor customer service and a lack of communication. Posting this as a warning to other golfers considering GolfNow. If something goes wrong with your booking, be prepared for a frustrating customer service experience
