This was my first time shopping at GO Outdoors and the staff were helpful, friendly and made the visit a complete pleasure. And I left with a very comfortable pair of shoes and some hiking pants. Totally recommend!

Ethan is a very helpful and friendly young man. Helped me when shopping for my 907 gas and had a lovely chat. I will look out for him when I come to look for my tent. He also did well to stay smiling in this heat!

Lucy on clothing was very helpful

Jakub was very helpful and incredibly knowledgeable when explaining through all of the specifications of different products we were interested in!

Just wanted to leave a fantastic reply for the young gentleman whose name is Sam who helped me on Friday evening and he went through everything I needed to know regarding an item of fishing gear which was the Matrix big metal side table for my seat box it was in the sale department and had a few bits missing which was why it was so cheap but he stayed with me for at least an hour trying to mend it and suggest things that we could do to put in there which he kindly did and did it all himself he went above and beyond the normal sort of service you would normally get and he is a highly valued member of the Bedford GO Outdoors team I will always go back and look for him when I go back there which does encourage me to go back to go outdoors he was so calm and helpful it was unbelievable I don't normally write reviews to be on this as sometimes I think they are a waste of time but if the manager is reading this and hopefully he or she is please give him a massive pat on the back and I pay rise or any little incentives that they get because it is fully deserved thanks again so much Sam and i willbe back again thanks Rob

Having visited the store on a number of occasions & speaking to the assistant, I got a lot of good advice regarding my research on walking boots!
Which helped me make the right choice!

Purchased a Dometic coolbox from Ultimate Outdoors which unfortunately developed a fault within the first few months. I returned the item to the Bedford store exactly as instructed, and to be fair the staff there were helpful throughout the return process.

Unfortunately, the experience with customer services afterwards has been extremely disappointing. Despite repeated emails, formal complaints, escalation attempts, Citizens Advice involvement, and a Letter Before Action, I have now received no response whatsoever from Ultimate Outdoors / Go Outdoors for several weeks.

The manufacturer has since confirmed in writing that the reported fault is genuine and that responsibility for resolving the matter remains with the retailer.

What has been most frustrating is the complete lack of communication despite every reasonable attempt to resolve the issue properly. The manufacturer has actually been far more responsive and professional than the retailer itself.

To be fair, the helpfulness of the Bedford store staff is the reason I have not rated this experience lower.

A very frustrating experience overall, particularly given the value of the item and the ongoing inconvenience caused.

I was served by Lucy and Callum. They were very helpful and creative in finding a solution to my ordering problem. A timely refund came through just as they said it would.

I was given excellent customer service by Tyrell who helped me choose and try out a pair of trekking poles. As a first time user I asked lots of questions and he was so patient and informative. I felt confident i'd make the right purchase thanks to his help. He was also warm and friendly, putting me at ease. Tyrell normally works in the footwear department but showed good knowledge of poles and their use. I also needed a sit mat and other staff in the store were so helpful and pleasant helping me with that. I would certainly return if I needed other items in future. Tyrell is a credit to the company.

I visited the Bedford store on 4th May to return an item. I was helped by a young man who was polite, courteous, and clearly new his job. It was an absolute pleasure to be served by him today. Unfortunately I didn't get his name but the receipt indicates he is Assistant 19/26. Who ever he is, he is a credit to your company.

Holly was great super helpful gave my child an opportunity to scan some stuff which is one of his favorite things to do and didn't correct my husband when he mispronounced her name 🤣🤣
She greeted as an entry helped us check our membership and was straight to serving as soon as we approach the till 👏

I wanted to find an adaptor for my trailer electrics. Britney in the Bedford branch came out with me to check my car and found the correct adaptor. Brittney was pleasant, patient and extremely helpful. Thank you for great customer service 👏
