I am absolutely thrilled to share my outstanding experience with Grace Moving Company! From start to finish, their team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, care, and dedication to ensuring a seamless relocation.

I have a shipment going to Australia, and I was naturally concerned about the complexities of international moving. However, Karun, put my mind at ease with his expertise and exceptional customer service.

Supervisor Rob and his team, Blessing and Buzz treated my household contents with the utmost care, wrapping and handling each item with precision. What truly impressed me was the team's commitment to keeping me informed every step of the way. They provided regular updates on the progress and a run down at the end of the day what next day would look like. This level of communication and transparency is unparalleled in the moving industry!

Rob, Blessing, and Buzz not only represented Grace Moving Company with professionalism but also embodied the values of a company that genuinely cares about its customers. Their positive attitude, courtesy, and respect made a significant difference in what could have been a stressful experience.

I'd also like to extend my appreciation to Lindy in the office, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She took the time to explain exactly what was expected of me to satisfy Australian customs requirements, making the process much less daunting. Her guidance was invaluable, and I'm grateful for her support.

I have a shipment going to Australia. Lindy communicated very clearly what was expected of me to satisfy the Australian customs.
The packers, Sanelle and Masoe, were very experienced. Sanelle took charge and listened to what I expected as I have had many overseas relocations.
They were friendly, polite, efficient and I would definitely use Grace Removals again. Highly recommended....Ann-Marie

Douglas and Richard did an excellent job with the removal of our goods from wellington for shipping to London :) and pleased to report everything arrived with no damage

Jack, Meeks and Cam sorted my move from Havelock North to Perth.
They all contributed to a stress free, easy move.
Jacks communication and professionalism was great.
And Meeks was friendly, kept me updated and helped with any paperwork that needed filling .
Lastly Cam who did the moving was friendly, efficient and took care and pride with packing.

Fantastic and friendly communication, three professional people arrived on time and started handling and packing the house hold in a very professional manners with lots of respect and appreciation.

Constant miscommunication and misunderstandings from Lindy. Changes her story all the time. Changed dates for delivery a few days beforehand. Awful attitude and very unhelpful person.

Pity one star is the lowest.

What an error using this subpar company, My advise to any one reading this, just move on and don't consider these muppets for even a move around the block.

3M one side board missing, pots and pans not wrapped, just bundled together, broken items galore.

I have insurance I thought they'll be reasonable.

No definitely a company hell bent of effing over the customer.

Insurance department don't respond, have to be asked every day for a response, and when a response is sent it's as plausible as the weather balloon reflective light from Venus.

Im still awaiting an explanation as to how "atmospheric conditions" caused ceramic casserole dishes to break. how the stacked pots and pans without packaging causing deep scratches on the non-stick and general scuffing and other damage is all attributed to "atmospheric conditions" and when challenged getting told the non-stick peeled off due to high heat. noting that non-stick degrades at 250C and the boxes and other items were a combination of plastic and paper, which miraculously didn't catch alight.

What a comical insurance department, likely run by untrained staff who come up with the most ludicrous excuses not to pay out insurance.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Over 5 years ago we we trusted Grace Removals Christchurch with our furniture. I had jewellery still in my dutchess. We have been married 44 years now. My engagement ring was also stolen which I had left in my duchess by accident as they took my bedroom furniture faster than I thought. My furniture was so badly damaged. I told Tony that my headboard was also damaged by text and he said I must have has sex to hard for to happen. My husband can't have sex as he hasn't been able to have sex because of damage from bowel cancer surgery nearly 20 years ago. By saying what Tony said was so cruel my husband now has dementia at the beginning of this year he had a small stroke and recently had a heart attack. I could tell you more but to much to say on here. Is this how your customers are treated?
The date I have put in is todays date as it over a 5 year experience.

Grace are the best ⭐️. I had grace pack my house up in Auckland store my house lot for 12 months then deliver to me in Melbourne.
I could not speak highly enough of the staff the office packers and movers in NZ and Aus delivery. I dealt with Kendra in Auckland over this whole time and she was amazing. Thank you so much Grace ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brian, Steve and Blessing were exceptional in the way they handled our 80 cartons, very friendly and helpful.

Sanele and his team of Steve, Blessing and Brian managed a three day logisitical move with patience and expertise and no little strength. Delighted with how they made it as trouble free as possible. Well done guys - a pleasure to have you in our home. Bill and Mary

Auckland branch reps don't care and highly unprofessional. I have called three times in the past three days to have someone visiting from the Auckland branch or send an email advising quotes but nothing came. It seems they have too much business or they don't care about getting back to the customers. It just a first step and I'm having a headache with this company. They can't be trusted.

Can't fault Grace Alice Springs who packed our 4 bedroom home.

We moved from NSW to Tauranga in Feb 2023. The performance of Grace in Australia was pretty average, if not for the lady at the desk in Canberra ACT, it would have been worse, every time we had an issue, she sorted it out. The guys loading the truck were great and very friendly and helpful, very quick and careful, they packed ahead of schedule, they contract to Grace and are not actually Grace Staff.
When we arrived in Tauranga, we had to contact Grace in Auckland as we had had no update on arrival times, we were told the dates are a bit fluid and the Container would be landed in Auckland and freighted overland to Tauranga. This was not our initial understanding from Grace when we booked the removal. We heard nothing for weeks, after phoning Auckland office we were told the ship would be unloading soon, however a friend at Tauranga docks informed us that the ship had been and gone from Tauranga a week before. Still no contact from Grace Auckland.
We constantly had to phone to get any details of what was happening despite assurances that they would get back to us. Eventually we got a delivery date, and we told them we needed a time for delivery to ensure someone was at the house to open it for unloading. My wife was travelling to my son's house 2 hours before the expected delivery time and saw a delivery truck parked, she stopped and asked the driver if he was looking for somewhere, it turns out it was our truck, they had the wrong address and no contact details for us.
Communication is now not a word I would associate with Grace removals, given the cost of over $20k I would have expected more. I met a young engineer who had moved from Victoria in Australia 6 months previously, and his story was strangely similar, Australia Grace were OK, NZ Grace were totally uncommunicative.
We have moved nationally and internationally several times and have used other removalists before with no similar issues.
Would I use Grace again? No.
Would I recommend Grace? No.

Awful. We used Grace to move back to New Zealand from Melbourne and totally regret it and will never use them again.

The delivery truck was packed with our shipment in a very disrespectful and unprofessional manner and the crew were a couple of young casual rough looking guys.

They delivered our expensive rimu chest of drawers to us broken. One of the feet on the drawers had been smashed off and it had lots of dents and marks from rough treatment. There were also plenty of marks, dents and scratches on our other property including a significant dent on some other reasonably new drawers and a cracked bowl.

Even though we organised our move through Grace Removals Australia once our shipment reached New Zealand it was handled by Grace Removals NZ who we suspect were more responsible for the damage, although no one at Grace acknowledged responsibility for the damage to our drawers or could even provide an explanation for what happened.

Overall we felt totally disrespected by how Grace Australia & New Zealand had treated our property that we had entrusted to them.

Staff was not knowledgeable enough. After telling what to do or how to do still can't listen.

We used Grace starting over a year ago to store then move our house. They lost some miniature figures and garden equipment, despite many requests it was only in December after I began calling every day they admitted they were "lost"? They keep sending small bills with no explanation and no one seems to know what they are for.

I WOULD NOT USE OR TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Initial quoted amount was increased by over 30% and we had to pay before our belongings were delivered - essentially blackmail. Then half of our belongings were left behind. We lost boxes because of this. Worst experience i have ever had. Deceitful and shameful company. I would never ever have used this company if they had quoted the amount they ended up charging us. Others were far more reasonable. Best advice i can give - go elsewhere, you will only be disappointed with this company.
