Second shift in just over a year for an older couple in poor health. Consistent with the last move, the team, with some of the familiars, turned up promptly as promised and again helped us sort out innumerable boxes and packed up the entire kitchen. Everything done carefully and thoughtfully. At the last minute, our new home was inaccessible so everything had to be put in a container for storage at Grace facility. The people, the team, and the whole organisation from Dave, the boss, always available for consultation, make this stressful process as bearable as possible. We have recommended them to many friends who have had the same experience. If there is one thing you can do to ease the stress of shifting, call Grace

We chose Grace Removals because of their reputation for moving artworks. From the first contact, to a visit by their consultant Kathy, as we prepared to move after 40 years, we felt valued as customers and were taken through the process in a professional manner.
For 3 days our moving team, Paul & Tana, joined by Steve on moving day were amazing, warm and friendly and took great care with the packing. Moving day was the worst weather day, but the move went smoothly despite this.
We would have no hesitation recommending the above team for your move.

They were the only firm that came to my house and gave me a full quote where there were no extras. The movers were polite and professional and careful. Nothing got broken or lost. Very organised. I would recommend th hem.

The 2 removal persons were both polite and careful, together with being quick and efficient. What more can you ask for. Very happy and have recommended them already.

If you want an easy, efficient move with some wonderful friendly and obliging workers, choose Grace Removals! Economical and stress free. No breakages due to the workers being so careful when moving my items. Can't say enough to recommend this moving company!

I paid for Grace Removals to relocate me from Melbourne to Auckland in December 2019 for a new job with Regional Facilities Auckland, shipment ref 1560838. Although I paid for my own container at the advice of Melbourne Agent Vlad Kovacevic so my shipment would get expedited and would not risk confusion, my goods did not arrive until mid-February. I liked Vlad, and I chose Grace over a cheaper quote (from Pickfords). The delivery guys at the Auckland end were outsourced by Grace to Smart Express and overloaded the lift in my apartment block, leaving me with a broken lift, angry neighbors and the job only partly done. I paid $ 600 to find emergency replacement labour with the abandoned boxes and Grace accepted no responsibility. After unpacking I discovered entire boxes containing valuable computer and electronic equipment, works of art and silk shirts missing. I have tried not be suspicious and to give the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps they had been mislaid somewhere? No one replies to my enquiries. And now of course Grace can invoke Covid, but it looks to me like the problem is theft and/or incompetence pre Covid and no one is prepared to speak with me or admit anything. I will continue to try to locate my missing property on my own via Customs. The experience has clouded my first six months in New Zealand. I just can't believe how awful they have been.

Overall pretty good, the loading and unloading guys were fantastic. Communication at the NZ end was pretty awful, I had to follow up multiple times to find out what was happening and only late on the day before the delivery I got an email from the team manager to advise when they'd be on site - pretty poor really

Terrible experience and despicable customer service. Every time we call Grace we get a different person who gives us a different excuse as to why our shipment continues to be delayed. Having to get lawyers involved to get our belongings back from them!!

We previously used Grace 6 years ago and were so impressed with the whole process so we decided to book with them again for our recent international move from Aus to NZ. We have been so disappointed with the whole process!! They picked up all our stuff and there was a huge delay in our belongings even leaving the country and we were not informed of this. We had to keep ringing to find out where our stuff was! No tracking feature, nothing! Our belongings arrived 6 weeks later than they had initially said. When it arrived some of it was damaged and now we are in the process of claiming our insurance (we paid $1000) and we can't seem to talk to anyone who cares (it's been 2.5 months) Just save yourself the hassle and go with another company.

Grace was beautiful at Selling their product. Unfortunately the hassle free, fully controlled door to door delivery that they sold is not what they delivered. I was super satisfied when I was sold Grace and felt like I was in good hands at the very beginning. They never communicated that there would be other vendors that they contract with that will charge you for their services to get your stuff actually to your door. I had more then a 10% increase in cost that wasn't ever communicated to me as something that might happen. Grace mislead me to believe that they would provide a well handled door to door delivery and they did not. Be wary as to what is actually in the quote they give you and know that you might have to pay more for what they commit to you from their vendors they work with.

Fantastic service from consultation to delivery of my household furniture. Due to a new work opportunity I moved from Auckland to Melbourne. My consultation was thorough, with all costs given up front, how the process works, pickup/delivery ETA's...My furniture was all carefully boxed up, wrapped and loaded onto truck efficiently and quickly and I was happy with the workmanship. The shipping ETA that I was given from the start of the process was accurate and was a bonus that the storage once it was received in Melbourne was cost effective, as I didn't move into my new place for 3 weeks (after my furniture cleared aussie customs). Delivery of my furniture was on time, delivered with care, unpackaged and placed where I wanted it, and all packaging was taken away. I really appreciate the service I got from Grace, it made the move so much easier for me, they really took a lot of stress out of my move. People asked me how did I get on with the move to Melbourne - 'easiest move ever'..... Highly recommend Grace. A special shout out must go to the pickup/delivery crews in both Auckland & Melbourne who couldn't of been more top notch. Cheers.
