I ordered four bars of personalised chocolate from Green & Blacks website. I clearly wrote the Christmas message on their form, which was double checked before checkout. On delivery I opened the package to find that the Christmas messages were not as I had typed them. They had completely messed up the layout of the print. These were meant as gifts to family members who I will not be able to spend Christmas with due to lockdown. I cannot give these chocolate bars as they are, they have completely spoiled a special gift. I did contact customer services but the response was vague and uninterested. I don't think I will be able to return these bars of chocolate for a refund, so that means £20.00 flushed down the toilet. A complete waste of time and money. Very very disappointing.
I will not be using their personalisation service ever again. I advise others not to use their service either.

Unbelievably poor customer service. Ordered online and was concerned to receive no email acknowledgment, no invoice although money was taken from credit card immediately. Tried to participate in online chat but was informed ‘We are offline’. This was 11am on a Monday. Then phoned only to be placed on hold for ten minutes after which time phone was cut off. This happened four times. I appreciate COVID has had an impact on everyone’s lives but I cannot understand why an email confirming order has not been sent. Is the prospective recipient going to receive her birthday present or not? I have no idea. An absolute shambles.

Yet another greedy company
reducing their bars from 100g to 90g but guess what....no reduced price !
From now on I'll buy Lindt choc...unless they do the same of course.

I received my delivery 1 minute into the delivery slot. Upon opening the packet I discovered that I had been sent the wrong item. I immediately messaged the company and within minutes I had received a reply and after confirming that I would like a replacement, the problem was sorted. Can't thank Becky enough for her speed and professionalism.

Ordered as a birthday present for someone, and wasn’t delivered after 3 attempts despite me changing preferences to leave on porch. Spoke to driver who couldn’t find the address and talked him through where it was and still no delivery. Have just called and spoken to customer services, who refunded delivery cost, however this does not make up for missing this person’s actual birthday, and still not sure if it will get delivered if using the same courier. Only choice I had as other was to refund order, and don’t want family member to think we had forgotten their birthday! Would not recommend, despite always having enjoyed their chocolate, and bought as gifts in shops on many occasions!

Bought an order online, got no confirmation of order, positive card check on my bank is all to see the order was processed at all.

Customer service is a premium rate phone line for all of Cadbury. No response on the email address. No idea if my order is being processed.

Dodgy website and the worst kind of customer service.

I ordered several times from this company. Great customer service and great products. Those are only chocolates I am usually ordering for my family. 85% Chocolate is my favorite.

They have taken payment for an order but not dispatched it. It has been over a month since the order was placed and I have been promised a call back a couple of times but it has never happened and I've not managed to get any response for two weeks now yet they are still open for orders. Appalling service, just dispatch goods or refund!

Really impressed - ordered a very important thank you gift on Saturday and it was delivered on Monday. I also felt that the £50 hamper was good value - the family my daughter is staying with during lockdown were so chuffed!
I then ordered for Easter - which I knew would be late, but again was delivered to my brother's family on the day promised.
And the points I collected I could use straight away as a discount. Very happy and will definitely order again!

Tried to place an order to send a number of colleagues a gift for their hard work during this difficult period. Spent an hour entering all their details but while I was putting in my gift messages, their server crashed and wiped out everything, including the account I had set up! Not impressed as my time and money could have been spent elsewhere.

i have realised that the green&black chocolate bars have got smaller from 100g to 90g and the price is the same. marketing strategies but as a consumer i feel cheated! will not buy again!

I was a fan of green & blacks from its inception by Craig Sams, in 1993 Absolutely delicious and ethical.
Then sadly the brand was sold to Cadbury’s in 2005 with the proviso that it remained the same. As I now live in Portugal some visiting friends knowing my love of the brand gave me a variety pack.
I was so dissapointed to find it now has no more flavor than Cadbury’s chocolate which I would never eat. To make matters worse Palm Oil is listed as an ingredient, so much for “ethical” Cadbury’s.

SALTED CARAMEL leaves a putrid taste in your mouth of creamy salt. Avoid this like the plague if an overdose of salt leaves you feeling sea sick or just plain ill. Whoever invented this flavor needs to share it with their own family and get some feedback. Yeah it says salted in the title. But not even salted crisps leave this after taste!

The best customer service I've had.
After a small change to an order of personalized chocolate, changed from 35g to 100g bar (the order was delivered on time and in good packaging), the font's were all out of line, possible due to bar size change.
I Immediately telephoned Green & Blacks customer help line to notify them of the issue. They where very polite and quick to deal with the problem. I Sent them clear screen shots and photo to compare. A few e-mails to confirm details later in the afternoon, and by the next morning they had delivered exactly what I ask for, before I had even started work. so the timing was perfect.
The recipient is Vegan and she was extremely happy with the gift. It looked great.
This was just part of a very important gift by way of a Thank you for helping to save my dogs life.
Would defiantly use Green & Blacks for future gifts. Thank you.

Never ever again from this lot. The delivery and whole order was cancelled suddenly. I was never notified that this had occurred after they originally had confirmed the order. It meant my Dad never got a present from me on his Birthday.

I was given no opportunity to resolve the problem. Once i realised the goods were a no show I checked delivery status and it had been cancelled.

I emailed to ask why I was not notified and why it had been cancelled at all.

This specific query was never resolved by insipid email or the the subsequent phone call i made. I wonder if all 4 lines were read fully in my email, certainly they were not understood. The phone responder just patronised me by reading out the email again, as if I was a simpleton and those lines of repeated wisdom clarified everything. If they had I would not have phoned seeking clarity. I went and bought £40 of cheese and wine instead. I'm just disappointed with it all.
