Greener Books レビュー 

Ordered a book from this company, which still hadn't arrived three weeks later. Company promised to dispatch a replacement, which a further three weeks later also hadn't arrived. They did not give tracking information for either book.

When I enquired again, I was told that they did "not have another copy to send" - it's not clear that they ever had the book they were claiming to be able to sell. The fact that I had to explicitly chase them for a refund speaks poorly of them.

My book never arrived. They are not providing a tracking number. Avoid this company !!!

My book just arrived (Fragrant Palm Leaves Thich Nhat Hanh). Condition described as good - that was a lie. it was in poor condition, battered and bent along all the edges with the bottom right hand corner bent back. Inside was an airline boarding pass as a bookmark - never removed, clearly showing that the sellers didn't even bother to flick through this book before passing it on to me, the buyer. I wish I had seen these many other bad reviews before I wasted my money with Greener books, but lesson learned. Now I have contributed one of my own as a warning to other, more savvy buyers. As for me....Greener Books?....Never again.

Ordered an out of print book from this company. It did not arrive after a reasonable time. Was told a replacement would be sent immediately. Also did not arrive. Although I have been given a refund, I shall be avoiding them in future. One book not arriving is understandable, the second time it makes you wonder if the book was ever posted or even if n stock.

Book did not arrive. Supposedly shipped but no tracking information sent and now a month since ordering. Unless it’s coming from the moon, my guesses are that it wasn’t shipped in the first place. Where do all of these lost books end up? Raised a refund request with Abe Books, company did respond promptly and issued a refund but money not visible on my account - yet....

I recently made a purchase from Greener Books, I had an issue with my order so I emailed customer services, a lady called Tina replied straight away and sorted out my query in a very professional manner, she was extremely helpful. Very happy with service I received. Thank you Tina.

I was very disappointed with Greener books. I received part of an order but after being told at least twice that the other book had been posted it never arrived!
I received a full refund which was appreciated but if they were posted where did they go?

Although Greener books describe themselves as sustainable and environmental values, their packaging is far from that. The books ordered arrived swiftly, and were in good condition, but the packaging was nasty heavy blue plastic, completely unrecyclable, when they could easily have used heavy duty envelopes or card wrapping such as Amazon uses.

Got books through Amazon, they looked new and hardbacks, yet cheaper than a large coffee 🤔

I have had no problems with the books that I have bought from Greener Books - however, I do take issue with the fact that they describe themselves as committed to 'sustainability' and yet now (as opposed to a few years ago) wrap their packages in one-use plastic. For this reason, I have marked them down and will be avoiding them in the future.

I was a bit concerned after reading some of these poor reviews but my fears were unwarranted, my book arrived well before it's eta and as per the description was in great condition for a fantastic price. Ignore the nay sayers, everyone has a bad day but I found the service perfect!

I received my book very promptly.

Moreover, it was in excellent condition for its age, and the price was exceptionally good.

Compré online y al ver que el libro tardaba en llegar, contacté con ellos y tras pedirme disculpas, me enviaron otro ejemplar rápidamente diciéndome que era posible que el primero llegara también y así ha sido, ahora tengo dos por el precio de uno. Está claro que la demora no fue culpa suya. Volveré a comprarles.

Placed order of an electronics book which did not arrive by the expected date, I did claim a refund from Amazon which was accepted then the book arrived. I will give an honest review that they did eventually send the book and did provide signed for tracking after I messaged. I agreed to change this review because the book arrived. I won’t rate as bad and they did try as far as I can see but 3 stars are better than none.
If I do buy from them again I hope the book arrives before or on the date it says expected.
I can’t give a good rating as I think average is appropriate.
When my refund arrives I will send it back because I received the book in good condition.

Entirely wrong book just delivered. Incomprehensibly and incompetent.

I'm writing this to counter so many negative reviews about Greener Books.
I received a book today and the order was incomplete. I emailed to complain and received an apologetic reply within an hour with total refund including P+P. Hopefully that will arrive soon. So I have no issues with this company.

I have just received the book I requested. At least a week earlier than I was I formed. It is in a very acceptable condition. I decided to send a review as I was so pleased with my purchase. It was so disappointing to read several messages of dissatisfaction. I can only speak of my experience.
The bottom line to my response is -

Don't buy from this company bought a travel guide from Greener books through Amazon when it arrived on the back of the book were two stickers one was a Oxfam price ticket for£2.00 the other was a label saying that it was a gift aid meaning that the book was given to Oxfam.I paid £6.06 are they going to give the money to Oxfam.

I do not recommend anyone to shop with these people. Who ships things without tracking numbers???? This place is a freaking joke and a scam

I've ordered hundreds of new and second hand books online down the years and have never once had any problems. That is, until I ordered a book through Greenerbooks (via AbeBooks UK) on the 18th January. To date, despite emails asking the whereabouts, the book hasn't arrived - and neither have I been given the courtesy of a reply to my enquiry. It would appear when reading the bulk of the reviews on this site that my experience is far from rare, and so the logical conclusion is that Greenerbooks are a company very much not to be trusted - and that the normally dependable AbeBooks UK must be guilty by association.
