For us long time fans of Diablo 2, PoE is as close as it gets, with a lot of better mechanics. Can't wait for PoE 2.

Fix the leveling in PoE, it is boring, uninspired, repetitive and takes far too long. The end game is where it is fun but only a smaller percentage of those that actually try the game reach it because the leveling process is the worst of any arpg.

lost my account coz i linked it to steam... guess what? i lost my account, i send them an email, telling the problem. and 24h later its still not fixed, at 11 pm today, they told me that they found my lost account, but i need to give them permission to do it, coz it will delete a EMPTY account , the one that seems i switched doing the link thing...
i said at 12 pm, YES DO IT, and im still waiting.. they only have 1 email for contact, so seems like tomorrow i wont be playing either? so better skip this game, coz seems the company dont use enough of employs for that..

They censor any sort of free speech. If you have a character whos name may offend someone (eg, "IPunchFascists") you will be banned for 20 hours and forced to change your character name.

Also they remove threads on their forums when they offer and form of criticism.

Was a good company, then they were purchased by Chinese gaming companies and turned into a cash grab that doesn't dare offend its CCP leaders.

Awful support staff, couldn't even help with basic account recovery, over charges and lots of other shady practices. Over the last 7 years i have know them it has been a complete downhill of their ethics and game development focus.

They failed to protect my data.

I only logged into the game via Steam, from a fixed IP address in Australia that never changed.

They got hacked and my customer data was exposed. An individual that in no way matched my user patterns (direct login from vietnam, no steam), logged in and compromised my account.

Further, because the password was a generic one I used with gaming, they were able to extrapolate it and mess with my access to a number of gaming platforms, which I subsequently had to fart around fixing up and making secure (while going through cancer treatment and caring for three young sons). Don't need this crap, and it's all due to GGG's inability to protect my data and to notice dramatic deviations in user access.

Since they closed the gate, it was HARDER for me to regain access to my account after I froze it as soon as I learned of the hack, than it actually was for the dodgy scammer to access my info.

So .. even though the game itself is OK --- I didn't bother.

Since chinese company Tencent acquired GGG the company behind Path of Exile things got worse. OLNY 20k players online and this is just after 1 month since Blight League start. Can imagine second month after Blight league start how much will left. 5k? And third month :D Their support is awful, many scammers in the game and GGG just don't care. Chinese bots control the whole market. One exalted orb cost 200c only one month after league start. On day five of the league start, one ex orb was worth it 170c!!! I have doubts that GGG/Tencent participate in the scheme. Players registered month ago have thousands of orbs, they are visible in poe trade market, but no one ban them. I wouldn't trust on chinese company. Who knows how much data they collect. My recommendation - full format on hard drive and clean installation on Windows.

If not buy premium stash tabs is impossible to trade, because you will be not visible in poe trade> therefore can't sell anything. If you use third party software for trading like acquisition, they just can ban you anytime, without any explanation. Sounds like PAY TO WIN GAME, right? They just not have clear rules. Today program Y is legal, but tomorrow maybe not and you get instant ban without even GGG warn you first. BUT...rules are different for chinese players - google it ''Multi-flask hotkey in official Chinese POE'' thread in reddit. DOUBLE-STANDARDS?

For this in EU or US server you would get ban instantly. In chinese - can do what you want.

It's a free game. Solid ARPG and not pay to win.

I have supported Path of Exile in the past by buying cosmetic items in the hopes the would continue to provide for their customers. Unfortunately they refuse to do that and simply wish to steal people's money.

During a session an item I acquired simply disappeared. The response was that 'they had a policy' not to help their player base. I asked for my money back since I was apparently not a customer but someone they already got what they wanted from.

I am interested in taking legal action if anyone out there has experience in this matter. I invested in this company and was proven to be a fool.

Bad store UI resulted in misclick purchase of item I didn't want. Made a simple refund request to buy what I did want (Which was the same price). Got excuse after excuse that it "isn't possible" for something that should be a fairly standard part of a storefront by now. For the ridiculous prices they set they could at least cover their basics. The game developers deserve a better company and customer support for their game.

Son got his account locked for some reason, and multiple attempts to GGG indicated "they'd contact him" on how he can unlock it, or what occured to get it locked in first place. As a Dad, wanted to use as a lesson if he did something...dumb. Now week 4+ with no response and we still don't know why it was locked. Play the free version -- not worth dumping money to buy coins to buy cosmetics.

Being able to enjoy a Diablo2 like experience wile under the wing of a company that actually cares about the game, you guys are my saviours!

Cash shop items are a bit expensive, but at the end of they day they are all cosmetics. I don't blame you guys for trying to make some money, though, personally i would probably expend more money if items were cheaper. As is, i only buy on sales. But again, it's the only thing i've to point out.

Overall you guys do a great job.

Their support is terrible. Read the forums - everyone tells horror stories about the awful support you get when you lose access to your account for any reason - and it's absolutely true. I've had the same experience - weeks without a returned email, one request after another for more and more information, and then they put you on ignore. It's by far the worst support I've ever had. It's unfortunate, because their game is great.

Absolute dog sh.it company who has made the most dog sh.it arpg I've ever played. They think a "good" arpg means you only worry about the top 1% players who can afford ridiculous sh.it because they have no lives. The other 99% should just get one shot by everything randomly and have no chance at actually playing the game. Oh and not to mention THEY DON'T EVER FUC.KING FIX ANYTHING!! They've literally just been piling and piling code on top of each other for years now and there has been a memory leak on the 64bit version SINCE 2016 that still isn't fixed LOL! Why the fu.ck would you even let people play your game when your fps literally gets lower and lower the longer you play? These people sold out to micro penis tencent a while back so it's no surprise they're following suit with chinese policy of "Make it shittier and cheaper!"

Love POE and I feel like there should be more choices in character class and more health nodes in this game. LABS suck , the loot is crappy and the characters are so weak! the only character to even stand a chance in the game its the marauder because of its tankiness.

Purchased points without noticing that there was a bundled offer for the same price with same amount of points and more content.

Contacted support and they resolved it for me, so I could get the bundle instead. Thanks Rob from support.

Banned my account, won't reply to my requests, and simply say they can't do anything. Complete nonsense. There is nothing that can't be undone with an account. They basically took my money, banned me, and expect me to dish out more cash for another account. I hope these kiwis burn in hell.

Doesn't care about its consumer base. Its not a complaint its hard fact. It has taken nearly two weeks to get a refund. I was asked for 6 pieces of information over nearly 10 e-mails, something that could be done in one e-mail and STILL didn't come to solution about the problem. GGG are happy to take your money but when you want it back or need help with account issues its none existent. I absolutely loved this game until I've had to deal with this level of incompetence. All I want is a refund. I was asked for Xsolla transaction ID which doesn't appear on Paypal transactions, how am I supposed to provide a piece of information that doesn't exist? I provided you with character names, account names, my paypal transaction ID, card number, the works. Still completely impossible to get a refund for the worst league in PoE history.
