I’m selling with another, unaffiliated agent, and just received a call on my mobile from a Haart agent in the next town, who’ve I’ve but been in touch with, and if I ever have it would have been years ago. No idea how they got my number! Surely not GDPR compliant? And frankly none of their business how my sale is progressing it if I’ve found another home. Please go away.

Thomas Hennessy & team helped us from start to finish when sold. Regularly calling, emailing & txting to keep us informed about viewings & provided feedback with all viewings. Very pleased with advice & support given.

The management of our end of tenancy has been atrocious. They are unresponsive and causing us unnecessary stress during the process of completing the tenancy and check out. Two months and mind numbing amounts of time being spent using FlatFair and the issues are still not resolved.

Do not use APL Lawyers which is the company whom Haart estate agents recommend ...

I’m currently in the middle of a property sale and purchase using APL Lawyers, and the experience so far has been incredibly frustrating. Unfortunately, I now feel stuck with them, as switching solicitors mid-way would only cause more delays — otherwise, I would have changed firms long ago.

Communication has been a major issue from the start. Phone calls go unanswered, voicemails are ignored, and emails take up to a week or more to get a response — if I get one at all. This is completely unacceptable when dealing with something as time-sensitive and stressful as buying and selling property.

To make matters worse, I’ve been passed around between multiple solicitors with no consistency or accountability. It’s clear that there’s a serious lack of organisation and urgency. Every time I finally hear back, I’m left feeling like I’m starting from scratch.

At this stage, all I want is to complete and move on — but based on how things have gone so far, I wouldn’t recommend APL Solicitors to anyone. If you’re looking for clear communication, timely responses, and a smooth process, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Visited haart in braintree and spoke to callum Mills about a little misunderstanding he said he would resove it and confirm this by email to which he has done so thankyou for that callum .

In the Braintree Haart, Gary, who was very informative and honest throughout the initial process. Then Chloe who mainly dealt with the sale itself.

Chloe is an asset to your team. She was patient, honest and so helpful.

I am very happy with the constant updates and nothing was too much trouble.

Even dealing with Ollie & Charisma too, they have been really kind when dealing with them.

Just to say a big thank you to Callum Mills at the Braintree branch. I had my first problem at my flat, having a fault with the boiler. Calum was on the case at the first opportunity after I contacted him and arranged for an engineer to come and fix the issue as soon as was possible. It is very reassuring to know that if there is a problem in the future that it will be attended to as promptly as it can be. So well done Callum an excellent job and greatly appreciated.

Have used Haart for a number of years looking after my property. Millie is always extremely professional and very helpful with any questions that I have. Millie is a credit to the company.

Anthony Turner is really lovely, he was very respectful, happy and energetic. He was even lovely to our dog. I have all good things to say about haart in general. Keep up the good work guys you are all amazing and totally different to other estate agents.

The red flag, alarm bells should have been when Branch Manager of the Braintree Office asked for a google review of her performance, giving us the specific wording to use for the review “Could you ensure you include my full name and if possible 5 stars, don’t ask for much do I?”. No property had been viewed at this point.
My husband viewed the property and after some pressure we started the process of possibly renting this property. We paid a holding deposit and after reviewing the apparently drafted paperwork, we noticed that the contract was the previous/current tenant and notified her of this and she said she would change this but failed to do so and eventually failed to comply with their terms of contract. Nothing was completed, no contract was signed nor searches.
We requested our holding deposit back and this is when it all began to get worse than we ever imagined a professional organisation could behave.
They accused us of signing the contract, we didn’t. They then told us “ The amount held covers the employee costs to you for the work that was carried out in the initial conversation to the completion and taking of the holding deposit plus the marketing fees lost”. These fees are not chargeable.
We were not aware of this and was never told when we first made contact with Haart of these charges and we have never been charged by any other letting agent who charges to view, telephone calls and setting up a draft contract using the previous/current tenants details and contract??!!.
We have made numerous calls, emails for our deposit back which they are refusing to do so and now ignoring our emails. We now feel we have no alternative but to take legal action against Haart for the return of our deposit. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I just talked to Anthony Turner about his new role and was inspired by his energy and enthusiasm. It definitely made me think about using Haart for any future move.
