Dont waste your money


The so called colour of rooted honey was unbelievably dark at the roots more auburn I would say. Total waste of money!!!!!

I purchased hair from them and it was so bad My stylist wouldn’t put it in. Cost 220 pounds was not used and they won’t take the The return and have not sent me back to the Hair. Which is illegal lol. Long story do not purchase from this company. Not sure where they got their hair, but it’s not remy.

We are sorry to hear you were not happy with your order. We have emailed you to advise that as stated in our terms and conditions and also on the Returns page, hair extensions cannot be returned if the hygiene binding ties have been removed.

As you did not provide any indication either in your return paperwork or your emails that there was a quality issue with the product, your return was processed as a standard return and, due to it being removed from the hygiene binding ties, it was ineligible for a refund. But, as you are aware, we offered to return the product to you.

We have also reached out to you regarding your comments regarding the quality of the product as we pride ourselves on the quality and longevity of our products and take any complaint seriously, but we have not yet received a response from you.

I have used hair rehab for years

I have used hair rehab for years, I noticed the colour change in the rooted coachella and the rooted blonde af, also the quality of the hair has gone massively downhill, Its a shame, as the hair use to be consistently good, that is not the case anymore sadly.

POOR QUALITY EXTENSIONS, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

*UPDATE — their reply below can only be described as professional gaslighting. They have taken 0 responsibility and my review is entirely accurate; their response is not. As such, my card provider has agreed to pursue them for a full refund of the entire balance, after viewing the photo and video evidence of my hair which demonstrates the poorest quality and discolouration after only 1 month of wear. Honestly girls, go to Beauty Works; better price, nicer hair & they don’t ask you to remove your own hair at your own cost due to a fault on THEIR part. This is honestly the most disgraceful company I’ve ever dealt with!

Don’t waste your money. Go with Beauty Works or another hair extension provider. I spent £350 of my hard earned money with Hair Rehab, and I have discoloured hair which is ratty and VERY poor quality.

I have been wearing professional hair extensions for 18 years, and I’ve never had to complain or return anything once. This is the first time I’ve ordered from Hair Rehab, and their hair quality is not on par with other reputable brands - and also, their customer service is appalling. I saw there is other reviews on here where customers are complaining about the colour of the rooted blonde shade; which is exactly the colour I ordered. Firstly the colour is not remotely similar to the photos. But I decided to keep the extensions because at the time they were still a suitable match for my hair and looked nice.

Scroll forward a month - the nano bond part of my hair has discoloured significantly (almost like the colour is stripped) leaving behind a baby pink tone. They are also ratty and have lost their shine. I use professional care products & have done absolutely nothing to damage them. Upon reporting this to Hair Rehab and simply just asking for a replacement of the nano-bonds - they have refused to replace the hair, despite clear photo evidence being provided showing the discolouring (I also have a weft from them which HAS retained its original colour - so it’s very clear the nano bonds are faulty or a poor quality batch given they’ve gone a totally different colour to the weft).

They remained rigid in asking me to have my hair removed, at my own cost (£50) send it back, and wait 1 MONTH for them to decide ‘if’ they will give me a replacement. This was only £130 worth of the hair — I was not asking for a full replacement or even for a refund, which I could have done given the overall quality is not good anyway. I was really reasonable but it got me no where.

The fact that they expect you to remove installed hair and send it back for inspection when it’s very clear there’s a fault from all the evidence supplied is not acceptable and would have left me feeling insecure, not to mention the significant level of effort & cost I would incur. The cost and effort is almost equal to the value of the replacement - so they expected me, the customer, to absorb further costs but when they explained to me their position I was told ‘it is expensive for them to replace it and they have checked the rest of the batch and can’t see any issues’. They were basically suggesting that there was nothing wrong & gave me 0 confidence the issue would be resolved. They didn’t once acknowledge the photos I sent.

As a result I’m having to raise a dispute with my credit card provider to issue a chargeback. I didn’t actually want to do that, I just wanted them to replace my faulty nano-bonds, but the clear refusal along with rigid approach and not seeming to care whatsoever that they’ve had £350 of my money and not delivered the quality expected just tells me that this brand is not about promoting women beauty and confidence - in fact quite the opposite. There was a simple low cost solution to avoid all of this and they point blank refused to offer it.

Immensely disappointing - don’t waste your money.

We’re genuinely sorry to read your review Hannah, however it’s important that we correct a number of inaccuracies.

At no point have we refused to help you. We have simply followed our clearly stated and standard returns procedure, the same process generally used across the hair extensions industry and wider e-commerce, which requires a product to be returned for inspection before a replacement or refund can be issued.

You purchased 75 nano bonds and in order to investigate this properly, we requested the return of just 8–10 bonds, not the full order. This is a minimal and entirely reasonable request that allows our technical team to assess whether the cause is a manufacturing fault or an external factor.

While photos can be helpful, they do not allow for a full and accurate assessment. Pink discolouration of hair extensions is widely recognised within the industry as something that can occur due to external elements such as minerals, chemicals, or product interaction. In many cases, this is also something that can be resolved once the cause is identified, which is precisely why inspection is necessary.

To clarify further, we did not state that it would take “one month to decide if” you would receive a replacement. You were correctly advised to allow up to 28 days for inspection, after which, if a manufacturing fault is found, a repair, replacement, or refund would be provided.

We also did not dismiss your concerns or ignore your images. In fact, we carried out a full batch trace on your extensions and found no similar issues reported by other customers. This makes a physical inspection even more important to ensure we reach the correct and fair outcome.

As a small business, we are always transparent. Supplying professional-grade hair extensions involves significant cost at every stage, and for that reason, like the vast majority of reputable brands, we cannot issue replacements without first verifying a fault. This is not a lack of care; it is responsible and fair practice.

We fully appreciate that removing extensions can be inconvenient, and we acknowledged this in our correspondence and requested just a few be returned from the whole order. However, following a proper inspection process protects both our customers and our business, and ensures that any resolution offered is accurate and justified.

We remain more than willing to assist you and resolve this matter. The next step, as previously advised, is simply to return a small sample for assessment so we can move forward.

Incredibly frustrating experience over a very small purchase.

I bought a £22 set of silk scrunchies and contacted customer service before returning them to confirm that the item could be returned. They confirmed that it could and sent instructions on how to return it.

I followed those instructions and sent the item back.

Only after they received the product did they tell me it was outside their refund window and that they would only issue store credit instead of a refund.

In other words, they instructed me to return the item, accepted the return, kept the product, and then refused to refund the money.

I also received an automated email saying the order had been “refunded” with a refund amount of £0.00, which is extremely confusing and misleading.

All of this over a £22 purchase that should have been a straightforward return.

The whole experience left a very negative impression of the company and their customer service.

I will not be buying from them again.

I'm sorry you are frustrated with your experience Gary. As explained in my email to you yesterday, our returns timescales are publicised on the returns page of our website (where you download the prepaid returns label) and in our Refund Policy, in addition to on the despatch note that was sent with your order.

We have a returns window of up to 28 days (14 days to notify us of your intention to return your order followed by a further 14 days to return the goods). We also offer a store credit for returns that fall outside of these timescales in some circumstances, which was the case with your return.

You asked our customer service team if the scrunchies could be returned (because some of our products are unable to be returned for hygiene reasons). This is a general question that the customer service team were able to answer without looking at your order specifically so they would not have seen whether or not your order was eligible for a refund.

As a general rule, we do not provide timescale information regarding specific orders unless this information is requested by the customer. This is because this information is stated a number of times throughout the buyer journey.

Poor customer service

Product came very quickly but I was advised the totally wrong colour and sent back the product over 2 weeks ago tracked still no refund which I’m really upset about as it was there colour match that was wrong 😑

In the vast majority of cases, we get it spot on, and customers are very happy with the recommended colour. However, very occasionally, despite your best efforts to take clear, accurate photographs, what appears to be a good match, might not be so good when you get to look at the product with your own hair in 'real life' which is why we offer an easy and quick returns process for unsuitable orders. With regards to your return, we advise our customers to allow 14 days for their return to be processed (although it is usually much quicker than this). I can see that your return was received 6 days ago and is due to be processed today so will be well within the timescales publicised on our website and emailed to you on the 9th and 11th of February. You will receive and email to confirm your return has been processed. Love Hair Rehab x

Fantastic company

Fantastic company, very customer focused and quick to respond. The products I have tried so far are amazing. I am currently using the serum and the growth shampoo and conditioner and they smell amazing. My hair feels amazing and it’s only been one week so far.

The clip in extensions are not how they used to be

I have bought hair extensions from hair rehab London for over 10 years. I’ve never ever had an issue with them. My last purchase was roughly 2 years ago when they did the 24 inch 280gms ultimate clip in extensions (no longer available) which were stunning. So long & thick that most of the time I didn’t need to use all the wefts & the hair is still in good condition. Before the ultimate 24 inch I purchased the standard in 20 inch numerous times over the years & the quality & amount of hair you got was perfect. It would come poker straight & it always had this chemical smell which I personally loved. It’s with a heavy heart that I’m not leaving a 5* review today. The hair I received just wasn’t like it used to be & it has a slight wave to it. Even the smell has changed & the colour was very different to the picture it would help if there were models wearing each colour for reference. I know you offer a free colour match service but I like to see the actual extensions being worn on models. Also the wefts are much smaller particularly the single wefts. I’m writing this from a place of kindness. I love hair rehab London & I’ve only used them for all these years because they were so good. I would absolutely love to see the ultimate 24inch make a comeback & I also feel the synthetic collection could do with dropping new styles. If you bring back the ultimate collection I will be first in the queue to buy it

We’re really sorry to hear that your most recent experience didn’t quite match the high standards you’ve come to expect from us. Our extensions are made from 100% human hair, and as we’ve refined our processes over the years, there can sometimes be small differences in finish, texture, or colour tone compared to past collections. Your feedback on the wave, scent and colour representation is incredibly valuable, and we’ll be passing this on to our product development team.

We also completely understand your point on colour references. While we do offer a free colour match service, we’re currently working on adding more model photography and video try-ons so you can see shades in real life before purchasing.
