Was easy to book the taxi, the driver was friendly and professional, overall a positive experience with no complaints.

Very prompt arrival 5 mins from booking.

Not great - booked and pre-paid for a particular time for collection from Maldon with Maldon Happicabs. This time came and went with no update. Had to call up to be told that it was going to be 30mins late. Had a bit of a moan and suddenly it was only 5 mins away. Can only guess they were planning to take another ride and leave us hanging.

Quick to pick up, and the driver was polite and very helpful as i am on a walking frame from a broken back

My driver that collected me from Tolleshunt major was lovely. I unfortunately didn’t get his name, but we chatted the whole journey and it was a pleasure.

Have found Happicabs easy to book and reliable. It can be expensive but have so far been able to get a fixed price when I book so I know what cost will be.

Booked taxi for 4pm collection at Stansted, as a lone female traveller at the end of a long business trip. Requested an estate car, as I’d specified I had 3 suitcases, 2 of which were large. Text message received at 15.20 advising the car had been dispatched, and giving tracking link, which gives plenty of time to arrive for 4pm at Stansted. At around 15.45 having cleared passport control and collected baggage, I checked the tracker, which showed the car was around the Little Waltham area, so unlikely to arrive on time and was projecting 16.20 arrival. I rang the driver who was unapologetic, and advised he’d be there around 4.15. Phoned the office, who again did not apologise for being late but were argumentative with me - by this point I was upset, by felt I had no choice but to wait for them as they’d taken credit card details. Car did turn up at 16.07, not an estate as I’d specified. A very frosty journey ensued, admittedly caused by my frustration at this point. Poor communication, poor expectation management, poor attitude and a failure to provide what I’d asked for. Be a little early for airport pickups, track the flight, leave when you say you will, listen to customers and look after lone travellers better. Very expensive for this experience.

I would give 2 1/2 stars if I could. The driver was very friendly but could not read English road signs. Did not follow the speed limits, even when clear. Would try Happicab again but would cancel if it was the same driver.

Friendly driver, arrived earlier than my booking time, great experience!

Happicabs have never let me down before but this time, unfortunately, the driver was 20 minutes late, which was potentially disastrous for the five minute journey involved and which had been booked in plenty of time as we were joining a coach party. Once he arrived, however, our driver was cheerful and helpful.

Due to temporary health reasons I have had to make many calls on my local Happicabs. They have always managed to provide transport when required and the drivers have always been pleasant and helpful. What more can I ask!

Booked cab and pre paid but unfortunately I had to cancel, whilst I paid 36.10 for the trip I was refunded 31.10 so needless to say I won't use this service again

My driver Grace was very prompt and got me to my destination in good time. She was very pleasant and conversational which made my journey more enjoyable.

Just had another great lift with Happicabs in Chelmsford. Glen is always entertaining and has got to know the family really well. He’s reliable, friendly, and makes the journey enjoyable every time. Highly recommend him and the whole team. 5 stars! 🚖
