Booked in advance the day before and received a text confirming details. Morning comes and there is no taxi. I called and was told it was a going to be 15min as they were dropping someone else off. So essentially there was no point of making the advance booking. Taxi arrived 22min after original scheduled booking and the driver didn’t even know the most efficient route. She said she’s not familiar with the area and was called in last minute as she was nearby. She even confessed that the company do this a lot and is aware of the inconsistency for both drivers and customers. If you cannot guarantee the booking, do not confirm. Avoid at all cost, I have now missed my appointment and the whole morning has been messed up.

Really easy to order, could track taxi and the Man I booked with and the driver were very helpful and friendly, will definitely use again.

I received confirmation for my taxi booking, but no one arrived at the pickup location. We were left stranded in the middle of nowhere with no explanation. When I contacted them, they informed me the booking had been cancelled—yet no one had notified me of this cancellation. After waiting, they eventually sent a driver who arrived one hour late. Despite the inconvenience and their failure to communicate the cancellation, they refused to provide any refund.
The staff I dealt with were rude and dismissive. The only person who showed any professionalism was the taxi driver himself.
This was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I cannot recommend this company.

My car broke down, I pre-booked a Happicabs taxi for 8:25am to get my son to school (my 3 year old was ill & it was raining heavily so I thought a 5 minute taxi would be better for her than a 30 minute walk (plus back again) in the rain). At 8:30 I rang to check where the taxi was and was told “we’re very busy you will have to wait 15 minutes” even though I had pre-booked. All other taxi companies now busy and can’t help. At 8:55 (my son now late for school) Chelmsford Taxi Cabs 24/7 sent someone in the area to me in 5 minutes as I was desperate (thank you to them!). I got my son to school and back again by 9:05. Happicabs eventually turned up at 9:15! Awful service!

Accepted a booking on the app which was subsequently cancelled with less than 15 mins until the scheduled pick up time. Monies paid are now tied up for 7-10 days leaving me stranded without means to now get to my destination. Sadly this is not the first time this has happened.

My driver was Gregory. I’ve had him once before and I’m pleased to say two times in a row he has been outstanding. Lovely guy. Very chatty, polite and funny. He deserves a pay rise!! Would defo recommend as a driver! Keep up the good work Greg and thank you!!

Quick response on the phone. Timely arrival, good knowledge of route and very efficient updates. Highly recommended.

I thought I would give your firm a second chance as I was given the £5 credit from the last time you left my daughter's standing in the rain for 15 minutes as you were late, so booked a cab to take my daughter's to school this morning.
I booked it for 8.20am the cab wasn't enroute until 8.18 and arrived at 8.34am. You left my daughter's waiting for you again panicking and late for school! We had no communication again regarding the lateness. I am disappointed that I trusted you to deliver a service and you failed for the second time.
One of my daughters is autistic and was frantically calling me whilst I was at work panicking that the cab wasn't there and they were late. This is not on at all.

Booked to meet train. Rang to see where it was. Told 10 minutes. Arrive over 25 minutes late. Unstaffed station., effectively stranded. Told came from Chelmsford.

The company are easy to contact, competitively priced and never let me down.

Always been on time and are polite and courteous.

Never a bad thing to say about the Happicabs team and service

Driver tried to tell me i was attempting rob him after using the cab service for 4 days a week for a year then proceeded to say I'm a flagged fraudster after never previously having a problem im offended and will not be using the unprofessional company again
