The staff are always welcoming, you never feel rushed and they are always willing to recheck details etc and reassure. Excellent service

We were making enquiries about a holiday to take place within a couple of years time and with a very short deadline to book due to an available discount. Shani at Chapeltown branch was so accommodating and helpful. Kept us in the loop with dealings with the cruise company. Fielded and resolved our many questions. Rang to update us without prompting. Stayed over her usual working hours to ensure our booking was successful. We always use our Chapeltown branch to book holidays.

For year now iv been going to Hayes travel in chapeltown and wouldn't go anywhere else the staff are so helpful and make you feel so comfortable

Once I saw the advertisement on Facebook, I contacted Hays Travel and they got back to me straight away. Vicky was very helpful and shared all the details with me. When I decided to book, she contacted me to set everything up, and within a few minutes I received all the details by email. Excellent service throughout!

I booked a trip to the Bucharest Spa as a birthday treat for my partner, and Hays Travel completely failed at the most basic part of the booking — providing the QR code needed for entry.
We arrived and were left standing in reception with no access, no help, and no urgency from Hays Travel. In the end, we had to pay for entry ourselves just to avoid ruining the day. It was embarrassing and completely unacceptable.
To make it worse, the QR code was sent hours later, long after we had already paid — making it useless. The refund process then dragged on for weeks and wasn’t even for the full amount initially promised.
Hays Travel then tried to shift the blame onto the spa, despite the fact that the booking — and responsibility — sat entirely with them. No accountability, no urgency, and no real effort to put things right. Assistant manager is quick to argue the toss with the customer rather than demonstrate understanding.
This was meant to be a special occasion and instead turned into a stressful, frustrating experience due to their incompetence.
I won’t be using Hays Travel again and would strongly advise others to book elsewhere.
