Lizzie was very helpful,she kney everything we needed for our hoilday and went above and beyond

Emmilie couldn't do enough for me when I got home i found an error in the booking i rang her and she had already rectified the error and reprinted the invoice

Hays Travel as usual were brilliant,so helpful, the young lady (Elizabeth) at the Hull city centre was excellent in helping us . Took the stress and worry off the shoulders of a pair of computer illiterate pensioners.

Jodie from Hull city centre branch was especially helpful .
She helped my husband and myself find the the perfect hotel in the destination we had chosen.

Listened to all what I wanted and needed such as times of flights, area, distance to city centre and just made the experience so exciting, really thorough and didn't feel rushed at all.

Myself and two others booked a theme park holiday package to Florida several months ago, at the Hull branch. The price was acceptable, and we took the pay later option.

I have had two issues since making the booking.

Firstly, a couple of months ago we noticed that a new park had opened (Epic Adventure). This wasn't included within the price of our ticket, which was fair enough as it opened after we made the booking. I enquired with Hayes about adding the park, but the price seemed quite high. After a little bit of research I found I was able to book tickets for Epic Adventure directly at a considerable cost saving, and was glad that I didn't use Hayes to get the extra park added to our package.

Secondly, and most annoyingly, was that after paying for the holiday in full and in advance of the payment deadline I started receiving text messages (whilst working abroad) that I had not paid the balance in full. The Hayes App, which I had originally made the payment on had showed it to be paid in full so I ignored the message.

Having received another text message, I checked the account and discovered that it now showed £30 was still owing. Confused I rang the number provided, which went to the central Hayes call centre. They told me they were unable to investigate as it was booked in the Hull branch, and I should contact the branch directly (odd, and poor customer service). They tried to transfer me but the line went dead, and I had to search on the net for the direct number.

The lady I spoke to at the Hull branch confirmed that £30 was still owing and immediately went to take payment. At no point up until now was it explained to me where this £30 had come from. I queired the £30 (having believed to have paid in full) and was told that Hayes Head Office had added the £30 to cover an airport tax.

I understand that the £30 is not a huge amount of money, and it was a necessary to be added to the booking (I've paid it), but adding any amount fees onto a booking after having paid in full and with no communication or explanation is unacceptable, and terrible customer service.

Based on this experience it is unlikely that I will use Hayes Travel in the future, and I would urge others who are considering them to be cautious and perhaps look elsewhere.

Today was a fabulous visit to Hays travel in Paragon st in Hull, young lady Emillie helped us in a way that we couldn't be any more greatful for her patience and understanding.was greatfully appreciated . We normally travel to Europe and around on coach via caloadonian ect So Emillie helped us book my first ever aeroplane trip to the Greek islands crete for 2026.we walked in not a clue where to start, but she walked us through step by step 😀 explaining things as we went along ,, choosing the best flight times that would work best for our life styles, and other opertunities of the right hotel for our pace of life style also upgrading for disabilities finding hotels with lifts She really went aboveand beyond,, .we thank Emillie for her guidance 😀 Thankyou Julie (manager) traing your staff in such a professional way to accommodate for us 😀 x
