Hannah listened to what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go and quickly came up with accommodation and flight choices (even though the dates were only a few weeks away and in the Easter holidays ) Shelley completed the booking for us the following day once we had passport and insurance details. Hopefully it will work out well.

I always use hays especially when booking a cruise as they take all the stress away from you and will contact the cruise line on your behalf the staff are all lovely and happy to deal with any questions

Isobel, the lady who booked our holiday in Hay’s Salisbury was excellent, she was very kind and patient with two 80 year olds.

We went in on Saturday knowing we wanted to go to Puglia, Italy. Hannah gave us the Typically Italian brochure and explained they were a family run company that didn’t work weekends. She said she would email us on Monday with offers, which she did. Meanwhile we spoke to a friend who recommended Monopoli so in response to Hannah’s email I asked for that area. Hannah found us a few hotels to look at and one looks to be perfect which I then booked. Hannah was so helpful and made it very easy, sending all the information which I have now printed off.

They listened to what we wanted. Fortunately we knew where we wanted to go and what Hotel we wanted to stay in

We knew the holiday we wanted in advance so no selling required. Served by Marc, very efficient and helpful. Online prices matched. I would recommend Hays for all holidays, I prefer dealing with a person than online.

Always a pleasure to visit Hays to book a cruise. Efficient and helpful which make choosing the right cruise very easy.

I have been prevented from collecting air miles for a retrun trip, business class, to Sydney. Someone in Hays has established a Guest account with Etihad Airlines with whom I travelled. My air miles have been credited to that account and I can not now claim them. I have spoken at length to Etihad who tell me to contact the agent, Hays Salisbury Branch, but the Branch is simply denying anything to do with it and are quoting GDPR, Terms and Conditions etc and say they are unable to help. Terrible service and I shall not be using them again. In the meantime I want to send a formal complaint to Hays and will be advising others to avoid using then if they want to keep their airmiles.

My Dad recently booked through Hays travel for a return trip London-Sydney. They booked his flights for him, with Etihad. First error: they entered his name wrong on the ticket, so it didn't match his passport and he had to pay an extra £80 at the airport. Second error: on his return, he went to set up an Etihad guest account with his booking reference, only to be told that the booking reference was "associated with another guest account set up at the time of booking... an account which is now suspended". So in other words, a guest account was created using someone else's email address, his booking number was associated with it (so it was entered for whatever reason) and then it looks like it was closed down.
He is therefore unable to collect his airmiles for the trip within his own guest account. When he asked his local branch of Hays in Salisbury, who did the booking, they denied all responsibility, saying point blank that they wouldn't set up a guest account. The fact remains, someone DID, which is confirmed by Etihad (we spoke to them on chat for 2 hours and have the transcript). This now prevents my dad from collecting his miles himself.
Etihad is saying he has to speak to his travel agent because they made the booking. Hays are saying there is nothing they can do. But they need to work out why this happened, and resolve the issue of his airmiles for him. I can't believe they are just washing their hands of this.
He will be filing a complaint and escalating this. It is absolutely outrageous.
