The pickup and return of the vehicle was OK even though they charged me for a prepaid rental, they did refund me, we also filled up the car and they Charme for gas which was very upset about.
The worst part was riding back to the airport in that raggedy Hertz shuttle. Not only do the road need to be repaired, the shuttle needed SHOCKS!!!!! That ride was so rough that it aggravated my sciatica nerve and I've been in pain ever since! If I should ever rent with Hertz again, I'll pay Uber or Lyft! Apparently they service the shuttles often.

Everyone was polite, friendly and very helpful.
Olga at the counter was awesome, and the two shuttle drivers (one was Reggie, I didn't get the other gentleman's name) were also beyond helpful, and polite.

I had to update my profile when picking up my vehicle which took a long time. Also when dropping off my vehicle there were no Hertz employees there at the drop-off to receive my vehicle so I had to leave it there unattended. My vehicle was clean and in good condition and there were no issues with the vehicle.

I accidentially took the keys with me in the van back to the airport. I found this before arriving at the airport. I gave them to the driver.

I then gave them to the driver.

Later I got a very kind call from the office. That was so refreshing! Thank you for your courtesy and kindness. It is greatly appreciated.

First time in Houston, the shuttle bus was timely and clean. The driver was polite and helpful. Picking up the car was smooth and easy. The only challenge I faced was returning it, the trees have grown over the signs directing you to the return location. I went around a couple of times and asked for directions.

The service and the staff was wonderful however when I arrived the vehicle that I had reserved for was not there and I waited on another van. The van I received was fine BUT it wasn’t totally cleaned well, I later noticed some imperfections about the outside of the vehicle that was not mentioned (but I was glad there was no issue when I brought it back as if I had caused the imperfections- which I did not, they were there. Also, the oil change light was on, plus the gas tank wasn’t totally on full when I took the van (but that was noted). Outside of these things, my rental experience was just great from your company.

The car and service were great. Just a heads up, they say they charge like 4 something for gas per gallon but it’s actually like $15 per gallon. I dropped an economic car off with 3/4 of a tank and they billed me 38.

From the Hertz app, to the customer service agents, to the rerun team all the way to the shuttle drivers - You guys are fantastic.

Made reservation at Houston Louisiana St. location online. 15 minutes later, my phone rang and it was the Agent at Louisiana Street letting me know they didn't have any cars, despite my confirmed reservation. Suggested I was welcome to call around to other locations and see if any of them had cars. That's not a reasonable expecation of a customer. So I asked him to cancel the reservation and I rebooked at Houston Hobby. When I arrived, my name wasn't on the Gold board, had to wait in line 30 minutes to get a car that was reserved. Counter agent sent me to the wrong car, had to go back in. Got that misunderstanding straightened out and then due to an exit gate malfunction, it took half an hour to leave. Overall, the experience took an hour. Car was fine, had some scrapes and such that were not documented (I have photos). When we came back to return the vehicle, Hobby location wasn't busy, but somehow a week later the gate was still malfunctioning and the shuttle bus got stuck in the mess. It took 20 minutes to get out of the lot and on our way back to the airport. Likely going back to Avis next time I need a car from Hobby.

Easy pickup, easy delivery back to Hertz. Had a small problem with the return but customer support quickly resolved the problem. Thank you.

All was good until I absentmindedly left my handicap tag on the dash board of my rental. Now they’re saying they haven’t found it, which leads me to believe that someone decided not to turn it in while cleaning it, which makes me not trust your employees to the point of switching car rental companies. Lost item #22968, if you’re interested. Also, I rented from Houston Hobby, not Bush, but Hobby wasn’t listed on the drop down on your lost & found site.

Charged my Amex multiple times didn’t have a vehicle ready for me and ended up with a vehicle with mechanical issues then had to go back to exchange had to pay $20 toll just to go back and then received a dirty inside and outside vehicle but I had already spent 3hrs at the rental place on a holiday weekend.

Counter person not friendly. If I use my debit card Hertz wants to take a larger deposit. Location is absurdly located off the Houston Hobby airport. Now one at return to explain next step in returning, I had to go inside and ask someone what I needed to do to check out.
Car was second class.

The counter assistant was very rude and made the encounter so awkward and I don't think I will ever use your services at least not the Hobby airport Hertz ever again.

No cars available when I arrived and then I received a much smaller car than anticipated despite seeing multiple trucks available on my way out. Won’t rent from Hertz again.

I didn’t have the car I requested and was given a not clean car, rental experience was mid.

As a gold member with my name on the board, I still had to wait in line for over 20 minutes before I was assisted with a contract to be let out the gate becasue there was nobody at the exit gate.

Always good service at Hertz. My go to rental car company.
