europcar Manille, infos à savoir

Nous devions prendre notre véhicule ce matin à Manille Nonoy-Aquino Aéroport International T3. Hélas, contrairement à ce qui est spécifié sur le contrat, la prise du véhicule se fait et se retourne au terminal 1. il y a une personne mais pas le parc de voitures. Nous reprenons l'avion du terminal 3 et allons devoir apporter le véhicule à l'autre bout de l'aéroport, soit 20 à 40 mn de trajet, et autant pour revenir au terminal 3 pour le vol.
De plus, il n'est pas possible de voyager inter-îles sauf un coût supplémentaire de 350€... Il faut aller chercher cette information sur la spécificité du contrat... :.
"Tous les frais obligatoires comme :‣VAT (See full T&Cs)"
Ce qui ne veut rien dire pour un non initié.
De plus, le lien contact par e-mail du site internet d'europcar vous laisse écrire votre message pour finalement ne pas l' envoyer et vous demander d'appeler par téléphone en France...

Absolute gangsters

Absolute gangsters. Avoid. Tried to charge me for a no show when they had already processed my rental charges. CHECK your bank account after dealing with this crowd or better still AVOID. Terrible customer support also.

Non noleggiate MAI con Europcar !!!
In febbraio 2026 ho noleggiato un'auto a Strasburgo dove ho preso una multa di 45€. Ricevuto il verbale dall'ente stradale ho subito pagato la multa con bonifico. Lo stesso giorno ricevo un addebito di 55E per la stessa cosa. Pensavo si trattasse di un errore e ho richiesto i soldi indietro. Ho inviato 3 email allegando verbale e ricevuta di pagamento ma non mi ha mai risposto nessuno (cafoni). Infine ho inviato altra email tramite PEC e (guarda caso) mi hanno risposto immediatamente dicendo che Ú previsto nelle condizioni di noleggio (che mi hanno inviato solo con la loro email ergo DOPO il noleggio) l'addebito di 55€ per la "gestione" della pratica.
Mai più noleggi con questi qua, preferisco andare a piedi.

Beware Europcar's rip off refuelling policy should you run out of time to refill.

We had a Sat Nav failure (interface was stuck in German language and no menu option that we found could alter it). The Sat Nav re-routed us on our airport return and we nearly missed the flight as a result. Car was returned without re-filling (we'd used 60%). The charge from Europcar was 164 Euros. Completely abusive but they hide behind their small print. I am disgusted.

Super shady watch out. They modified my booking.....

They modified my booking without permission which more than doubled the cost of the rental. I was clear with them but, they just did it anyway adding insurance I did not want to a prepaid booking which also let them charge an additional local fee on top of that. Super shady which is too bad as they used to be my preferred car rental agency. Thier corporate team will do nothing because the local team has falsified paperwork so they claim thier hands are tied.

Servizio deludente, macchina ok

Ho noleggiato un'auto alla stazione Termini di Roma con richiesta di seggiolino per bambino e dispositio antiabbandono.
Al momento del ritiro delle chiavi e della macchina nel garage, non c'era nessun seggiolino montato nell'auto. Chiedo spiegazioni ai dipendenti ma uno non parlava nemmeno italiano, il collega lo parlava a stento e ha capito.
Mi hanno dato un seggiolino ma me lo sono dovuto installare io, dopo un viaggio in treno di 3:30h con un bambino di 1 anno che mentre eravamo in garage piangeva.
Il seggiolino fornito era veramente di scarsa qualità, un primo prezzo aliexpress con un sistema di fissaggio delle cinghie delirante che per chiuderle bisognava avere 3 mani. Inoltre non era ben fisso sul sedile e non si reclinava abbastanza.
In linea con la qualità del servizio, mi Ú stato consegnato il seggiolino ma ovviamente non il dispositivo antiabbandono che avevo richiesto in fase di prenotazione, che PER LEGGE Ú obbligatorio.
E dire che era tutto nel contratto.
Ho dovuto chiederlo 3 volte prima che venissi capito.
Pare che dal desk all'officina le comunicazioni non funzionino.

La macchina era buona e in buone condizioni di pulizia.
Il prezzo era onesto ma il servizio Ú veramente scarso.

Ci scusiamo inoltre per le difficoltà riscontrate nella comunicazione con il nostro personale e per il ritardo nella consegna del dispositivo antiabbandono. Come giustamente ha evidenziato, questo dispositivo Ú obbligatorio e avrebbe dovuto essere fornito insieme al seggiolino, come previsto dalla sua prenotazione.

Anche le sue osservazioni sulla qualità e sulla facilità d’uso del seggiolino sono per noi motivo di preoccupazione. Condivideremo questo feedback internamente per rivedere le attrezzature fornite e assicurarci che rispettino adeguati standard di sicurezza e praticità.

Siamo invece lieti di sapere che il veicolo fosse di suo gradimento e in buone condizioni di pulizia. Tuttavia, riconosciamo pienamente che ciò non compensa le carenze nel servizio riscontrate.

Rented a small car in Willemstad

Rented a small car in Willemstad, Curacao through Expedia for 4 days for a expected $180 price. I have never had this happen before. very frustrating and disappointing. I think I will avoid Europcar going forward.

HORRIBLE TRATO!!!!!!

-0% Le pongo una estrella porque no puedo poner menos! Horrible trato por parte de ellos despues de alquilar con ellos varias furgonetas para nuestra empresa de paqueteria durante mas de 1 año tanto en Madrid Leganes como en Valencia. Nos cobraron por todas partes y nunca mas nos devolvieron las fianzas. Hablar con la oficina es imposible,telefono no hay y si llamas al atencion al cliente te cuelgan o no te dan ninguna solucion o te dicen que hay que escribir un email y que tardan 72 horas para responderte. Otro mes una furgoneta suya le tocaba mantenimiento y la tuvieron en el mecanico 11 dias sin proporncionarnos ninguna de substituicion y encima nos cobraron esos dias que estuvo parada en el taller por el mantenimiento que le tocaba como si nosotros la hubieramos usado en todo ese tiempo. Reclame el importe atraves de llamada al atencion al cliente muchisimas veces y por email igual pero nunca nos dieron una solucion y se quedaron con nuestro dinero. Son unos sinverguenzas!!!!!Podria seguir con mas detalles pero con esto quiero dejar entender que no volveria a alquilar nada con esta gente y tampoco la voy a recomedar a nadie. Existen miles de empresas de rent a car muchos mejores.

Don't rent a car from this company they give you old cars I had a battery blow up with this car I had the gas gauge was not good and I filled it up and then they charge me I had the car stole twice they did not give me any refund no conversation don't use this car this this company is bad bad for all our American us friends don't use them

Terrible service

Without a doubt, the worst customer service I have ever received.
Long waiting times on vehicle collection which was not ready when they did finally get to us.
We had a flat tyre during our rental and there was no spare or repair kit! Any help we required following up on this was not there. They simply didn’t care.
This took about 10 hours out of our day to resolve. When dropping the car off at Gatwick, the indifferent service was bordering on comical. Other customers who were there at the time were also finding the experience the same.
We have since used another rental service which was far better and as frequent travellers we will avoid Europcar. I would advise anyone to do the same.

Fraudulent operators

Fraudulent operators. Hired on Tenerife, returned car to be told by operative all 100% ok. A week later had two charges taken from my bank account totalling 125 euros. An invoice arrived several days later showing a 'cross border penalty'. We were on an island, never left it! They sent a 'telemetry report ' showing the car went to Gran Canaria at four (?!) different occasions on one day. The bank account showed one of the two payments was chip n pin implying my physical presence...I was back in the UK by the time the charges came through. Europcar refused to back down. Fraudsters

Very poor experience

Pre-paid rent (through AutoEurope) for an entire week but car was not available when I came to pick it up 3 hours after the registered pick-up time. Arrogant and blunt attitude by employees, who gave me no option but to accept a 40% price increase to take another car. The car I got started showing alarms and messages to bring it in for repair after 30 min. Very poor overall experience.

Europcar : racket et mépris des clients

En août 2025, nous avons loué une voiture pendant trois semaines à Los Angeles avec une assurance LDW clairement incluse au contrat
 et pourtant, sur place, on nous impose de repayer exactement la même assurance.
(sinon nous ne pouvions pas récupérer le véhicule)
AprÚs restitution du véhicule, nouveau prélÚvement totalement injustifié sur la caution.

Résultat : une double facturation évidente et un mépris total du client.

Aucune réponse du service client malgré nos relances, dont la qualité est clairement déplorable.

Pratiques abusives, manque de transparence : à fuir absolument.

La peggiore esperienza della mia vita


La peggiore esperienza della mia vita sia per il mezzo che mi Ú stato dato danneggiato nella carrozzeria e sia per il pagamento non dovuto di una tassa transfrontaliera per la quale l’operatrice del Desk mi ha imposto il pagamento pena il mancato ritiro del mezzo. Venivo poi a scoprire che non era prevista ma visto che avevo già pagato non Ú stato neanche reso un rimborso. Pessima esperienza

Great customer service

I had great customer service when collecting my car from Stansted airport. He was quick, efficient and helpful when checking in, and went above and beyond, bringing the car to the door and taking my case for me. It was late, raining, and after a long day of travelling, his bright conversation and smile were just the tonic I needed.
Returning the car was straightforward, but signage for the office was very poor.

Cette location, une véritable arnaque.
Arrivé chez le loueur, celui ci me fait signé le contrat de location sur un écran noir sans aucune précision. Une fois signé, je reçois le contrat par email.
Quelle surprise !!!!
150$ de surclassement alors que je n ai rien demandé, sans m avertir et au final au vue de la voiture remise, injustifié.
50$ assistance crevaison que je n ai pas demandé.
Évidemment, je les ai contacté et on m a répondu que j avais signé, donc aucun recours....
Des escrocs !!!

Hidden charges at the counter

They gave me a good price when booking. I cannot finish check in as "something went wrong" and send me an email that I can just finish at the counter.
When on location, they told me that because I wanted price in usd they assumed i am American nationality. This is some kindergarten level view of the world.
And because of that, the price didn't include mandatory AC insurance in europe.
On top of that insurance, they charged me "assistance fee".
So price rose from 20usd per day on booking to 50euro per day.
