Bad customer engagement and service. This looked more like garage and not the HertZ rental

Very satisfied

The car was beautiful from inside and out! Very clean, delivered on time Begin enough for six people and suitcases, while also having enough legroom to feel comfortable 10 out of 10.

My problem is not with the Blazer that I rented that was fine. This was my first time renting. When I picked up the car from the 519 Waverly rd in Mamaroneck location. They brought the car around the employee went outside and was taking pictures of the car. I then went outside with my grandson and his friend. Also took note of outside of car. I elected to put the gas in myself. As we drove off I noticed that the gas was only 1/4 filled. I figured that’s because I chose to put the gas myself. When returning the car I looked at hertz policy for returns . And it states to return the car with the same amount of gas your received it or more. Well I returned it with alittle more than a 1/4 tank. Which is how I got it. When I returned it I parked it and gave them the key. The guy said ok that’s it your get the final bill emailed. I thought it strange they didn’t check car first. So I left and about 25 minutes later I get invoice stated my bill was $526. Well the original bill was 326 with $200 additional deposit to be returned. They charged me $160 (9.99 per gallon) to fill the tank. Then on invoice it stated I received the car full but it was not. So needless to say they kept my deposit should say stole. I will not recommend this place to anyone. And if he took pictures of outside why didyhr take picture of gas gauge as well. This will be a lesson for me. So far Hertz has not reached out to me on this

Easy process! Excellent customer service

The car was so dirty. My daughter had a bug on her and I had to drive in the rain/storm to Westchester County to get the car cleaned. It delayed our trip to drop her off to college.

It was terrible.
I reserved a luxury vehicle and was informed that my vehicle was ready to be picked up.
When in fact that when I arrived, I was informed that they only have pick up trucks available.
I was absolutely furious with they’re service and ended up with a Jeep compass which had my family and I cramped up all week.

I am a Hertz Presidents Circle member. The car was dirty and had almost 60,000 miles. It had a damaged and worn interior. The attendant lost the keys to the car and was looking for them for 40 minutes. Then he said the car needs to be cleaned and vacuumed - why isn't it ready upon my arrival? So I waited almost 1 hour for the car. To boot, it had 1/3 of a tank of gas. Upon delivery, no-one sent me a confirmation email and I called to confirm that they indeed booked the car as returned. They did not and forgot, luckily only 10 minutes before the grace period ended did they book the car as returned. Very unprofessional service and sloppy experience - and I expect much more from Hertz.
