The booking process was easy, pick up was easy, the car was clean and well maintained, and return was easy as well.

MySUV was not ready. The smaller replacement SUV was then unavailable.

i reserved a pickup truck two weeks in advance. i arrived, no pickup truck available. was offered a kia niro, i took it, it wasnt available either, i was given a nissan kicks. i ended up paying soneone to move the equipment i originally intended to move. not the first time this happens with hertz. i rent two rentals every week for work.

The person behind the desk was disinterested and totally insensitive to a tourist. Even worse was the gimmick of he “Manager’s Choice,” for a slightly better rate you get assigned the vehicle of Hertz; Choice. BUT that is stupid when’re the only “Choice” is an electric vehicle, worthless for the trip whew started. The person behind the desk said “I’ll have to raise your rate for a gas car.,” Rip-off… and their competitors were low on cars. We are on vacation nit business, so we have a choice of companies. Hertz moved to the bottom of my list.

Windshield and all windows of the car were dirty.

they gave my car away.....had to uber to the hotel, and uber back in the morning to pick up a car.

Great service and nice car.

Not a great experience. Hertz Midland is notorious for overlooking reservations and not having cars available for customers at their scheduled times. I had to wait over an hour to get my vehicle because Hertz did not have vehicles available at my reserved time. This is common at this airport and Hertz doesn't do anything to correct it. It's simple, you can do 2 things: if you don't have the Cars, done let customers make reservations. Or get more vehicles, nothing will change if you don't make changes and multiple customers will continue to be upset and likely take their business elsewhere, including me. The staff at Midland Is great but Hertz is greedy and needs to fix the problem!

Severe safety oversight and abysmal customer service.

I picked up a rental at MAF that had an internal fleet grease-pen marking written directly on the body panel pointing to the front tire—a clear sign the vehicle had been flagged for maintenance triage and should never have been on the ready line.

Sure enough, an hour into highway driving, the TPMS warning tripped and the tire dropped to 27 PSI. I had to manage a leaking, defective tire for my entire trip, even having it serviced at a local shop in Carlsbad to attempt a repair that couldn't hold because of recurring leaks.

When returning the vehicle, the counter staff was completely unhelpful. Worse, corporate customer support flat-out refused any service adjustment, claiming their internal system "showed no red flags"—ignoring clear photographic evidence of their own maintenance markings on the car.

Hertz is releasing known maintenance-flagged vehicles onto the ready line and hiding behind computer paperwork rather than standing behind vehicle safety. Check your tires and body panels very carefully before driving off this lot.

Car was not ready at checkin. Also, I felt like I received a smaller car than what I originally requested.

Thank ypu for accepting virtual Credit card. It was so easy that way! Other copanies donot accept wich is ridiculous.

My experience was great the lady at the front counter was respectful, the truck was clean and full of gas, I have no complaints

Terrible service couldn’t get a hold of a person to talk to about personal things I left in the car

We waited two hours for a vehicle to be ready. The reservation was made in advance for a specific time and we waited in the airport in Midland for two hours along with many others.

The front desk staff was deceiving about a car upgrade. She did not tell me she was giving an upgrade and then charged me more. I tried to speak to Hertz directly through their online chat and they kept closing the case without helping.
