Average; Less than spectacular. Confused counter service and rental car that needed interior cleaning.

I was charged for a toll service when I didn't use it.

The flight was 6 hours late. I had reservation but you were out of cars. After 15 minutes one return pulled in and I got that one. Other than that all went well

The women at the counter in Westchester was rude
I tried to call later after I realized I was going to drop the car off in Albany but hard to find someone who could answer my questions

Upon arrival to HPN, I was met with a rude hertz member. I sat at the window for a full minute before he looked up from his phone. After that he changed my schedule reservation to include insurance that I did not authorize. At that point it was too late and my card had been charged. I was told I would be refunded within 24 hours but was not until I returned the car 4 days later. Definitely will not be using hertz in the future.

Received notifications from Hertz that my car was past due by at least a couple of days when in fact I had already returned it the date and time I said I would (after hours at the airport) with all proper documentation and in the proper manner. I had to call and speak to a CSR to straighten it out (during a busy work day), to finally get the car checked in properly, and to finally be invoiced.

Terrible customer service. I had knee surgery in Manhattan the day before, and made a #1 Club Gold reservation to drive home the next day. The car is supposed to be ready with the keys in it when I arrived. It was not. Went to the desk to pick up the keys, they said the car was now ready. Went back to the lot and still no car. No employees in the lot to help me. Waited 90 minutes, on crutches this whole time, before I could finally get someone to help me. They just don't care at all. Never rent here, use another rental company or just get an Uber. Totally incompetent at this location.

No one checked my vehicle back in upon return. I was then charged for 4 days of late fees. Additionally, no one answers the phone at this location (I called over a dozen times) as I attempted to resolve the issue. The only way to solve my problem was through the 800 number. Horrible experience and do not recommend this location to anyone.

Hertz charged me for gas when I filled to full tank within 2 miles of drop off location. In addition I was over charged for an extra day and charged for a late fee. This is the second time within 6 months for being overcharged on items unrelated to my rental agreement.

Jacob in your lost and found department went above and beyond to help me. I left two jackets in the rental car. He made sure I got them back. He is our hero! I will always rent from Hertz as long as you employ people like Jacob!

I was not happy with the pick up no one was available when we could not open the trunk. Also did not like the choice of color of car and no other options were available.

I thought I was getting Express Pick up at the Westchester County Airport....and it did not exist when I got there. I rent from Hertz explicitly to save time. Had I known there was not Express Pick up, I would have taken an Uber. It should be very clear for a renter when this does not exist. If I have to wait, I would go for a low cost carrier. I use Hertz to save my most precious resource...time. Buyer beware!

My car was good and didn’t smell like weed. Quick and easy.
