Honest review as a female!

I’ve always found the annual MOT and service quite daunting, especially after my experience with the previous garage I used for the past two years—they were honestly horrible to deal with and made the whole process stressful and uncomfortable.
This time, I decided to book with HiQ, and it was the best decision I could have made. From the moment I arrived, I didn’t feel intimidated at all. There was no aggression when asking questions, no pressure, and absolutely no hidden costs—just a genuinely professional, polite, and friendly team of gentlemen.
They really go the extra mile for their customers. I was offered refreshments like a bottle of water, tea, coffee and there was a clean and bright waiting area, and even the option to charge my phone while I waited. What stood out most was the atmosphere—staff were coming in and out of reception, always greeting customers with a smile.
I was kept fully updated by phone about what my car needed and was given different options without ever feeling pushed toward more expensive choices or particular brands. Everything was explained clearly and honestly.
To top it all off, I had the pleasure of meeting Antonio and Riaz who were absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful throughout the process. You are gonna love them both :)

I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve left a garage feeling confident, respected, and stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend HiQ, especially to other women who may feel unsure or anxious about visiting a garage.
I genuinely look forward to coming back again.

Took my car to HiQ for an MOT and service and honestly couldn’t be happier
They were really busy when I went in probably the busiest garage I’ve seen but they still handled everything smoothly and didn’t make me feel rushed at all
You can tell they know exactly what they’re doing. Everyone there was respectful and easy to talk towhich made the whole experience a lot bette It’s not always the case with garages, so that stood out
Prices were fair and the work was done properly, no issues at all after. I’ll definitely be going back and would recommend them to anyone.

Had a light on on the dash for brake pads and hiq sorted it within 2 hours and really good price they are really good on what they doing

Mot and service was done here with 1 tyre had a nail right on the edge so they changed it.

Exceptional customer service with dudeligents approach

Had battery issue with my car it is like 16:40 and I called everyone no garage wanted to help and I came here and got it sorted in like 10 mins and the price they done a AGM battery is unbelievable and there is no labour charge on my invoice so I decided to leave them a review nice people working here in this garage

Hiq is one of garage I been using for long time for cars and they never let me down, customer service, prices and communication is really good

I recently had my car serviced at HiQ Enfield, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience—it turned what I expected to be a stressful chore into something surprisingly smooth and reassuring.

From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel welcome. There was none of that rushed or dismissive attitude you sometimes get at garages. Instead, they took the time to listen carefully to what I needed—a full service and MOT—and explained clearly how the process would work. It immediately gave me confidence that my car was in good hands.

As the inspection went on, they kept me informed without overwhelming me with jargon. When they discovered that my tyres needed changing, they didn’t just go ahead and replace them without asking. They explained why it was necessary, showed me the wear, and walked me through the options. I really appreciated that transparency—it felt honest rather than sales-driven.

The work itself was done efficiently, but without cutting corners. The service and MOT were completed to a high standard, and the new tyres made a noticeable difference to how the car drives—smoother, safer, and more responsive. It’s one of those things you don’t realise you needed until it’s done properly.

What stood out most was the professionalism and genuine care from the team. They weren’t just ticking boxes; they clearly take pride in what they do. By the time I left, I felt confident, looked after, and actually glad I chose them.

All in all, if you’re looking for a reliable place for servicing, MOTs, or even something like tyre replacement, I’d highly recommend HiQ Enfield. It’s rare to find a garage that combines honesty, quality work, and great customer service so well—but they’ve definitely managed it.

I can for oil top up as there was no oil in my car. It took like 2.5 litr of oil and they did not even charge me anything, really good and helpful people

For the garage to be busy, They are doing a lot of good work. I have had reasons to attend HiQ Enfield a number of occasions and each visit has been exceptional.
Riaz flawlessly books you in on arrival by creating a space to park your vehicle. He takes time to explain if there are any major issues and what solutions to remedy. It will be brilliant if they had more parking spaces.

First Booked me but no stock available

I took my car to HiQ Enfield for a full MOT, service, and brake replacement. Just over two weeks later — after driving only 115 miles — the front wishbone and drive shaft failed, leaving the vehicle immobilised. An independent garage confirmed the fault should have been identified during the MOT. I submitted a formal claim and was offered a free MOT/service instead of reimbursement. I’ve now escalated the matter through Small Claims Court. This experience raised serious concerns about the quality and safety of their inspections.

My car was left imobile I called the garage straight away when they simply said *it's nothing to do with us* not forthcoming with advising I should get the car recovered to the garage ! I had no choice to have to car recovered to a local garage whom immediately advised of the the fact the car should not have passed an MOT 2 weeks prior especially only covering 115 miles.
I informed HIQ that I was having the car repaired prior to any such offer and they failed to acknowledge this only offering they will fix the car free of charge (accepting liability)

How could I take my car back to the garage in good faith when this has occured. The offers from the garage were not sufficient and lacked credibility

So from my experience I recommend not use this garage!

Antonio was excellent he fitted my car in at short notice and kept me informed on how testing was going, when ready and what will be required going forward. HiQ looks after all of our cars.
